Abstract

본 발명은 통신 시스템에서 패킷을 송신하는 방법에 있어서, 전송할 소스 패킷들 중 드롭시킬 적어도 하나의 소스 패킷과 상기 적어도 하나의 소스 패킷을 제외한 나머지 소스 패킷들 각각에 대한 드롭 유무를 나타내는 드롭 정보를 생성하고, 상기 드롭 정보와 상기 적어도 하나의 소스 패킷을 제외한 나머지 소스 패킷들에 순방향 오류 정정(FEC: Forward Error Correction) 부호화를 수행하여, 상기 드롭 정보의 복구를 위한 리페어 데이터와 상기 적어도 하나의 소스 패킷을 제외한 나머지 소스 패킷들의 복구를 위한 리페어 심볼을 포함하는 리페어 패킷을 생성하고, 상기 적어도 하나의 소스 패킷을 제외한 나머지 소스 패킷들과 상기 리페어 패킷을 전송한다.
