  • the storage unit 6 is able to store a public identification code of the bicycle A which, conveniently, is also imprinted in correspondence of at least a portion of the bicycle itself, e.g. on the frame.
  • the public identification code imprinted on the bicycle A allows to associate uniquely each bicycle A with the respective telematic device 1.
  • the storage unit 6 is operatively connected to the management and control unit 3.
  • the electronic processing means 2 comprise a short-range communication unit 7 able to communicate with at least a control device E external to the telematic device 1.
  • control device E is able to send an identification code, in order to activate and/or deactivate the telematic device 1.
  • the short-range communication unit 7 comprises a radio-frequency receiver able to receive a radio frequency signal containing said identification code, while the control device E consists of a radiofrequency identification device.
  • the control device E can be e.g. constituted by a suitable transponder and/or RFID TAG able to send the identification code.
  • a user in possession of such a control device E can, by simply approaching, deactivate all the anti-theft devices provided and therefore permit the use of the bicycle A.
  • the electronic processing means 2 also comprise verification means 8 able to check whether the identification code transmitted by the control device E and received by the communication unit 7 corresponds to the identification code stored on the storage unit 6.
  • the verification means 8 can be achieved e.g. by means of a suitable software program controlled by the management and control unit 3.
  • the electronic processing means 2 comprise a communication unit 9 able to communicate with at least a remote processing unit R.
  • the communication unit 9 comprises one or more transmitters and/or receivers operating with protocols conventionally employed in the field of mobile phones such as, e.g., GSM, GPRS, UMTS or the like.
  • the communication unit 9 also comprises at least an antenna for the transmission/receiving of signals to/from the remote processing unit R.
  • the communication unit 9 can be associated with one or more external antennas installed on the bicycle A.

  • the electronic processing means 2 can comprise a localization device for locating the position of the vehicle, generally indicated in Figure 1 with reference number 10. The localization device 10 is operatively connected to the management and control unit 3.

  • the telematic device 1 comprises an alarm signaling device 16 of the acoustic, luminous or combined type, connected to the electronic processing means 2 and operable in the event of an attempted theft or tampering of the bicycle A or of the telematic device 1.
  • said alarm signaling device 16 is constituted by an alarm siren housed inside the container 5 itself or obtained on the container itself.
  • the alarm siren can also be combined with a light alarm.
  • the support means 4 comprise a seat post support 12 having a tubular portion inserted sliding inside the sleeve C of the frame of bicycle A.
  • the upper portion of the seat post support 12 is fixed to the lower portion of the seat S by means of one or more snap off screws 13.
  • the telematic device 1 comprises immovable fastening means of the support means 4 to the bicycle A, illustrated altogether in Figures 3, 4 and 5 with reference number 14, able to prevent the removal of the support means 4 and, therefore, of the telematic device 1 from bicycle A.
  • the immovable fastening means 14 comprise a retaining element
  • the retaining element 15 has a substantially cylindrical shape and is easily insertable snugly within the sleeve C of the frame of bicycle A.
  • At least one portion of the external surface of said retaining element 15 has at least a knurling positionable in contact with the internal surface of the sleeve C and able to operate in contrast to the removal from the sleeve itself.
  • the immovable fastening means 14 also comprise a connecting element 17 having a substantially elongated shape and able to connect the support means 4 to the retaining element 15.
  • the connecting element 17 is made up of a steel cable of predetermined length having an extremity anchored to a suitable holder 18 fixed inside the seat post support 12 and an opposite extremity which is associable with the retaining element 15.
  • the cable 17 is inserted axially sliding within a through hole 19 on the retaining element 15 and has, at the free extremity opposite the holder 18, an abutment element 20 able to engage on the retaining element 15 in case of attempted removal of the seat post support 12 from the sleeve C.
  • the abutment element 20 is wedge-shaped and is insertable within a respective conical opening obtained in the lower portion of the retaining element 15.
  • the telematic device 1 comprises a primary or rechargeable battery 21 able to supply the electronic processing means 2 and the alarm siren
  • a power charging socket 22 obtained in correspondence of a portion of the external surface of the container body 5 itself, connected to the rechargeable battery 21 and connectable to at least one external power line.
