Abstract

L'invention concerne une unité (U) pour l'application d'une bande de caoutchouc extrudé sur une carcasse (C) d'un pneumatique (P) à reconstruire. L'unité comprend un groupe d'extrudeuse (1) apte à extruder le caoutchouc, et à définir une bande de caoutchouc extrudé et à alimenter la bande elle-même à un groupe de distribution (2), relié audit groupe d'extrudeuse (1) par un moyen conducteur (3); ledit groupe de distribution (2) comprenant une tête (4) pour l'application d'une couche ou d'un film de caoutchouc extrudé sur ladite carcasse (C), ladite tête (4) étant sensiblement en forme de L et montée sur un élément de liaison rotatif (5), apte à permettre la rotation de la tête (4) elle-même autour de son axe (Y) dans les deux sens, et à distribuer et revêtir sous une pression ladite couche à la fois sur la surface centrale, périphérique (Sc) et les côtés (F) de ladite carcasse (C) dudit pneumatique (P) au cours d'un mouvement rotatif de ladite carcasse (C) autour d'un axe (X).
