Abstract

The invention relates to a tool slide, which is designed as a wedge drive, comprising at least two components (2, 3; 3, 4) that can be arranged against each other in a movable, sliding manner, wherein the components (2, 3; 3, 4) are arranged against each other in a sliding manner at sliding surfaces, wherein one sliding surface is designed as a more wear-resistant stationary sliding surface and the corresponding sliding surface is designed as a more wear-susceptible sacrificial sliding surface (5, 9) and in particular as a replaceable sacrificial sliding surface (5, 9), wherein at least one chip channel (15) or chip removal groove (15) is arranged in a sliding surface (6, 8; 5, 9) preferably adjacently to a tool-side front edge (14), wherein the stationary sliding surface is a sliding surface infiltrated or coated with hard material.
