Abstract

La présente invention concerne des systèmes alimentant les consommateurs d'un navire en combustible gazeux sur des méthaniers transportant du GNL et utilisant comme source d'énergie principale le gaz naturel transporté à l'état liquéfié et, en particulier, l'utilisation efficace à ces fins de gaz généré de manière continue en raison de l'évaporation naturelle du GNL dans des citernes de charge. Le procédé est fondé sur l'utilisation continue tout d'abord de gaz, généré dans des citernes de charge en tant que source d'énergie principale pour des installations d'énergie d'un méthanier, la compression du gaz en excès par le compresseur, qui peut avoir lieu à de faibles vitesses de déplacement d'un navire ou en stationnaire, son accumulation dans les réservoirs à haute pression (200 bars et plus) et l'utilisation ultérieure, lorsque la consommation de gaz dépasse sa génération dans les citernes de charge.
