Definitions
- the present invention relates to a technique for processing an emergency call in a mobile communication system.
- emergency communications from UEs (User Equipment: terminals) (for example, calls destined for 110 and 119 in Japan) are communicated securely to the network with the highest priority. It is necessary to secure the road.
- UEs User Equipment: terminals
- the UE in the mobile communication system is premised on movement (emergency calls are disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2).
- a UE in an emergency call communication performs H / O (Hand Over: handover) that moves across cells of an eNB (evolved NodeB: base station) to secure a communication path.
- H / O Handover
- eNB evolved NodeB: base station
- the UE moves to the cell boundary between the cell of eNB # 1 and the cell of eNB # 2 adjacent to eNB # 1, and the H from eNB # 2 to eNB # 2 Assume that a signal used to know that / O has moved to a possible area has been received. Then, the UE notifies the eNB # 1 that the signal has been received, and the eNB # 1 tries to cause the UE to perform H / O to the eNB # 2.
- eNB # 2 does not always support emergency call communication.
- PLMNs Public Land Mobile Network
- network operators managing the PLMN may be different. For this reason, the support status of emergency call communication differs between network operators, and eNB # 2 may not support emergency call communication.
- the eNB In order to prevent this, for example, it is necessary for the eNB to avoid causing an adjacent eNB that does not support emergency call communication to H / O the UE during emergency call communication.
- the eNB does not know the support status of emergency call communication in neighboring eNBs.
- the eNB cannot prevent H / O from being performed on an adjacent eNB that does not support emergency call communication.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a technique for solving the above-described problems.
- the mobile communication system of the present invention is A mobile communication system having a plurality of base stations, The base station Emergency call support information indicating a support status of emergency call communication in an adjacent base station adjacent to the base station is received.
- the base station of the present invention A base station in a mobile communication system having a plurality of base stations, A communication unit that receives emergency call support information indicating a support status of emergency call communication in an adjacent base station adjacent to the base station;
- the communication method of the present invention includes: A communication method by a base station in a mobile communication system having a plurality of base stations, Emergency call support information indicating a support status of emergency call communication in an adjacent base station adjacent to the base station is received.
