Abstract
一种显示面板,包括层叠设置的第一子液晶面板(10)、第二子液晶面板(12)及背光模组(14)。第一子液晶面板(10)与第二子液晶面板(12)具有相同的形状尺寸及像素设置。第一子液晶面板(10)上的每个像素与第二子液晶面板(12)上的每个像素相互对准。第一子液晶面板(10)为常白型液晶面板。第二子液晶面板(12)为常黑型液晶面板。背光模组(14)射出的光线依次经过第一子液晶面板(10)及第二子液晶面板(12)的调制以显示图像。

显示面板
技术领域
本发明涉及显示面板领域, 尤其涉及一种反应时间快的显示面板。
背景技术
现有显示面板通常只有一层液晶分子, 根据其驱动方式的不同区分为常白 显示面板及常黑显示面板。 然说而单层液晶分子对驱动信号的上升反应时间与下 降反应时间不对称, 所述常白显示面板由不透光至透光的反应时间长于由透光 至不透光的反应时间, 而所述常黑显示面板由透光至不透光的反应时间会长于 由不透光至透光的反应时间。 所以, 无论是常白显示面板还是常黑显示面板, 其反应时间都无法达到最佳。 书
因此, 需要提供能够解决上述问题的显示面板结构。
发明内容
为了解决上述技术问题, 本发明提供了一种显示面板, 其包括层叠设置的 第一子液晶面板、 第二子液晶面板及背光模组。 所述第一子液晶面板与第二子 液晶面板具有相同的形状尺寸及像素设置。 所述第一子液晶面板上的每个像素 与第二子液晶面板上的每个像素相互对准。 所述第一子液晶面板为常白型液晶 面板。 所述第二子液晶面板为常黑型液晶面板。 所述背光模组射出的光线依次 经过第一子液晶面板及第二子液晶面板的调制以显示图像。
其中, 所述第一子液晶面板及所述第二子液晶面板均包括彩色滤光片基板、 上偏光片、 下偏光片、 液晶分子及薄膜晶体管基板。 所述上偏光片设置在彩色 滤光片基板上。 所述下偏光片设置在薄膜晶体管基板上。 所述液晶分子夹设在 所述彩色滤光片基板与薄膜晶体管基板之间。
其中, 所述第一子液晶面板的上偏光片的偏振方向与下偏光片的偏振方向 相互垂直。
其中, 所述第二子液晶面板的上偏光片的偏振方向与下偏光片的偏振方向 相互平行。
其中, 所述第二子液晶面板的上偏光片的偏振方向与下偏光片的偏振方向 相互平行。
其中, 所述薄膜晶体管基板上设置有沿第一方向延伸的多条扫描线、 沿第
二方向延伸的多条数据线、 多个薄膜晶体管及像素电极。
其中, 所述薄膜晶体管设置在每个像素单元内与扫描线与数据线相交处对 应的地方。 每个薄膜晶体管包括栅极、 源极及漏极。 所述栅极与扫描线相连。 所述源极与数据线相连。 所述漏极与位于像素单元内的像素电极相连。
其中, 还包括设置于所述第一子液晶面板与所述第二子液晶面板之间的至 少一异向性相位补偿膜。
其中, 所述异向性相位补偿膜选自平行光轴相位补偿膜、 垂直光轴相位补 偿膜及其组合。
其中, 所述平行光轴相位补偿膜的光轴方向与膜表面平行。 所述垂直光轴 相位补偿膜的光轴方向与膜表面垂直。
本发明所提供的显示面板通过搭配常白型液晶面板与常黑型液晶面板组成 双层面板结构, 以常黑型液晶显示面板提供较短的黑画面转换为白画面的反应 时间, 以常白型液晶显示面板提供较短的白画面转换为黑画面的反应时间而提 高整个显示面板在显示时的反应时间。 同时, 通过在两个面板之间加入异向性 相位补偿膜来限制角度偏离较大的光线从不正对的像素单元射出而改善显示面 板的广视角显示效果。

具体实施方式
下面将结合本发明实施例中的附图, 对本发明实施例中的技术方案进行清 楚、 完整地描述, 显然, 所描述的实施例仅仅是本发明一部分实施例, 而不是 全部的实施例。 基于本发明中的实施例, 本领域普通技术人员在没有作出创造 性劳动前提下所获得的所有其他实施例, 都属于本发明保护的范围。
请一并参阅图 1、 图 2及图 3所示, 本发明第一实施例所提供显示面板 1包 括层叠设置的第一子液晶面板 10、 第二子液晶面板 12及背光模组 14。 所述第 一子液晶面板 10与第二子液晶面板 12具有相同的形状尺寸及像素设置。 所述 第一子液晶面板 10上的每个像素与第二子液晶面板 12上的每个像素相互对准。 所述第一子液晶面板 10为常白型液晶面板。 所述第二子液晶面板 12为常黑型 液晶面板。 所述背光模组 14射出的光线依次经过第一子液晶面板 10及第二子 液晶面板 12的调制以显示图像。
所述第一子液晶面板 10与所述第二子液晶面板 12的结构基本相同, 均包 括彩色滤光片基板 100、 上偏光片 102、 下偏光片 104、 液晶分子 106及薄膜晶 体管基板 108。 所述上偏光片 102设置在彩色滤光片基板 100上。 所述下偏光片 104设置在薄膜晶体管基板 108上。所述液晶分子 106夹设在所述彩色滤光片基 板 100与薄膜晶体管基板 108之间。
所述薄膜晶体管基板 108上设置有沿第一方向延伸的多条扫描线 110、沿第 二方向延伸的多条数据线 112、 多个薄膜晶体管 114及像素电极 116。 所述扫描 线 110与数据线 112纵横交错以定义出多个呈矩阵排列的像素单元 118。所述薄 膜晶体管 114设置在每个像素单元 118内与扫描线 110与数据线 112相交处对应 的地方。 每个薄膜晶体管 114包括栅极 1140、 源极 1142及漏极 1144。 所述栅极 1140与扫描线 110相连。 所述源极 1142与数据线 112相连。 所述漏极 1144与 位于像素单元 118内的像素电极 116相连。当所述薄膜晶体管 114通过与扫描线 110相连的栅极 1140被选中时, 所述薄膜晶体管 114的源极 1142与漏极 1144 导通。由所述数据线 112传输过来的显示信号经源极 1142与漏极 1144传至像素 电极 116上用于驱动液晶分子 106。
所述第一子液晶面板 10的上偏光片 102的偏振方向与下偏光片 104的偏振 方向相互垂直。 当像素电极 116未对液晶分子 106施加电压时, 经过下偏光片 104的背光光线在穿过扭曲排列的液晶分子 106后偏振方向旋转 90度则正好从 上偏光片 102出射, 使得第一子液晶面板 10在未加电压时常白显示。 当像素电 极 116对液晶分子 106施加电压时, 液晶分子 106沿电场方向整齐排列而未对 穿过的背光光线的偏振方向产生影响, 使得经过下偏光片 104 的背光光线的偏 振方向与上偏光片 102的偏振方向相反而无法出射, 此时的第一子液晶面板 10 显示黑的画面。
所述第二子液晶面板 12的上偏光片 102的偏振方向与下偏光片 104的偏振 方向相互平行。 当像素电极 116未对液晶分子 106施加电压时, 经过下偏光片 104的背光光线在穿过扭曲排列的液晶分子 106后偏振方向旋转 90度正好与上 偏光片 102的偏振方向垂直而无法出射, 使得第一子液晶面板 10在未加电压时 常黑显示。 当像素电极 116对液晶分子 106施加电压时, 液晶分子 106沿电场 方向整齐排列而未对穿过的背光光线的偏振方向产生影响, 使得经过下偏光片 104的背光光线的偏振方向与上偏光片 102的偏振方向平行而出射,此时的第二 子液晶面板 12显示白的画面。
因为所述第一子液晶面板 10为常白型液晶面板, 其由黑画面转换为白画面 的反应时间较长而由白画面转换为黑画面的反应时间较短。 所述第二子液晶面 板 12为常黑性液晶面板, 其由白画面转换为黑画面的反应时间较长而由黑画面 转换为白画面的反应时间较短。 所述第一子液晶面板 10与第二子液晶面板 12 相互叠加时黑画面转换为白画面的反应时间由常黑型的第二子液晶显示面板提 供,白画面转换为黑画面的反应时间由常白型的第一子液晶面板 10提供。所以, 本发明的显示面板与单独的常黑性液晶面板或常白型液晶面板相比具有更短的 反应时间。
如图 4所示, 本发明第二实施例所提供的显示面板 2的结构与第一实施例 所提供的显示面板 1 的结构基本相同, 其区别在于: 所述显示面板 2还包括设 置于所述第一子液晶面板 20与所述第二子液晶面板 22之间的至少一异向性相 位补偿膜 24。 所述异向性相位补偿膜 24选自平行光轴相位补偿膜 (A-Plate膜)、 垂直光轴相位补偿膜 (C-Plate膜)及其组合。所述平行光轴相位补偿膜的光轴方向 与膜表面平行。 所述垂直光轴相位补偿膜的光轴方向与膜表面垂直。
因为在所述第一子液晶面板 20与第二子液晶面板 22之间会存在一定间距 , 所以穿过位于下层的第一或第二子液晶面板 20、 22的光线在角度偏大时会经由 位于上层的第一或第二子液晶面板 20、 22的不相互正对的相邻像素单元 218射 出, 从而影响显示面板 2在广视角范围内的显示效果。 而通过在第一子液晶面 板 20与第二子液晶面板 22之间加入异向性相位补偿膜 24可使得显示光路中的 光线因不同的相位延迟产生在空间中产生明暗分布的聚光干涉 (Conoscopy)现 象。 利用此现象, 依照像素单元 218的大小调整所述异向性相位补偿膜 24的厚 度使得不正对的相邻像素单元 218处于暗区域则可防止光线不正对的相邻像素
单元 218中射出, 从而改善显示面板 2的广视角性能。
本发明的显示面板 1 通过搭配常白型液晶面板与常黑型液晶面板组成双层 面板结构, 以常黑型液晶显示面板提供较短的黑画面转换为白画面的反应时间 , 以常白型液晶显示面板提供较短的白画面转换为黑画面的反应时间而提高整个 显示面板在显示时的反应时间。 同时, 通过在两个面板之间加入异向性相位补 偿膜来限制角度偏离较大的光线从不正对的像素单元 118射出而改善显示面板 的广视角显示效果。
以上所揭露的仅为本发明一种较佳实施例而已, 当然不能以此来限定本发 明之权利范围, 因此依本发明权利要求所作的等同变化, 仍属本发明所涵盖的 范围。
Claims
1. 一种显示面板, 其包括层叠设置的第一子液晶面板、 第二子液晶面板及 背光模组, 所述第一子液晶面板与第二子液晶面板具有相同的形状尺寸及像素 设置, 所述第一子液晶面板上的每个像素与第二子液晶面板上的每个像素相互 对准, 所述第一子液晶面板为常白型液晶面板, 所述第二子液晶面板为常黑型 液晶面板, 所述背光模组射出的光线依次经过第一子液晶面板及第二子液晶面 板的调制以显示图像。
2. 如权利要求 1所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述第一子液晶面板及所述第二 子液晶面板均包括彩色滤光片基板、 上偏光片、 下偏光片、 液晶分子及薄膜晶 体管基板, 所述上偏光片设置在彩色滤光片基板上, 所述下偏光片设置在薄膜 晶体管基板上, 所述液晶分子夹设在所述彩色滤光片基板与薄膜晶体管基板之 间。
3. 如权利要求 2所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述第一子液晶面板的上偏光片 的偏振方向与下偏光片的偏振方向相互垂直。
4. 如权利要求 2所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述第二子液晶面板的上偏光片 的偏振方向与下偏光片的偏振方向相互平行。
5. 如权利要求 2所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述第二子液晶面板的上偏光片 的偏振方向与下偏光片的偏振方向相互平行。
6. 如权利要求 2所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述薄膜晶体管基板上设置有沿 第一方向延伸的多条扫描线、 沿第二方向延伸的多条数据线、 多个薄膜晶体管 及像素电极。
7. 如权利要求 6所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述薄膜晶体管设置在每个像素 单元内与扫描线与数据线相交处对应的地方, 每个薄膜晶体管包括栅极、 源极 及漏极, 所述栅极与扫描线相连, 所述源极与数据线相连, 所述漏极与位于像 素单元内的像素电极相连。
8. 如权利要求 1所述的显示面板, 其中, 还包括设置于所述第一子液晶面 板与所述第二子液晶面板之间的至少一异向性相位补偿膜。
9. 如权利要求 8所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述异向性相位补偿膜选自平行 光轴相位补偿膜、 垂直光轴相位补偿膜及其组合。
10. 如权利要求 9所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述平行光轴相位补偿膜的光轴
方向与膜表面平行, 所述垂直光轴相位补偿膜的光轴方向与膜表面垂直。
