Definitions
- the present disclosure relates to a communication control device, a communication control method, and a terminal device.
- 4G wireless communication systems are standardized in 3GPP (Third Generation Partnership Project).
- carrier aggregation is standardized.
- Carrier aggregation makes it possible to handle a wider bandwidth by collectively handling two or more component carriers (CC: Component Carrier) each having a predetermined bandwidth.
- CC Component Carrier
- Non-Patent Document 1 discloses a procedure for adding or deleting a CC used by a terminal device in carrier aggregation.
- the terminal device can use the macro cell CC and the small cell CC by carrier aggregation.
- the terminal device uses the CC of the macro cell as a PCC (Primary Component Carrier) and uses the CC of the small cell as an SCC (Secondary Component Carrier).
- An uplink control signal (eg, ACK / NACK, etc.) for the SCC (ie, the CC of the small cell) may be transmitted on the PCC (ie, the CC of the macro cell). Further, for example, the uplink control signal may be transmitted from the macro cell base station to the small cell base station via a backhaul.
- the wireless communication of the terminal device may be greatly affected by the backhaul.
- the uplink control signal eg, ACK / NACK, etc.
- the uplink control signal can take a long time to reach the base station of the small cell due to a delay in the backhaul.
- the operation by the base station of the small cell based on the uplink control signal may be delayed, for example, communication quality for the terminal device may be reduced.
- an acquisition unit that acquires information about a terminal device that uses one component carrier of a macro cell as a primary component carrier, and one or more component carriers of a small cell that partially or entirely overlap with the macro cell.
- a control unit that is set as an additional component carrier to be further used by the terminal device.
- the control unit sets one component carrier of the one or more component carriers as a special component carrier that allows the terminal apparatus to transmit uplink control information through an uplink control channel.
- one or more small cells that partially or entirely overlap with the macro cell are obtained by acquiring information about a terminal device that uses one component carrier of the macro cell as a primary component carrier. Is set as an additional component carrier to be further used by the terminal device. Setting the one or more component carriers as the additional component carrier means that the terminal device transmits uplink control information on one of the one or more component carriers via an uplink control channel. Including setting as a possible special component carrier.
- the terminal device uses one component carrier of a macro cell as a primary component carrier, and one or more components of a small cell partially or entirely overlapped with the macro cell.
- a carrier is set as an additional component carrier to be further used by the terminal device, and one of the one or more component carriers can transmit uplink control information on the uplink control channel.
- the uplink control information is acquired in the uplink control channel in the one component carrier when the information is set as a special component carrier.

- CC Component Carrier
- UE User Equipment
- Each CC is a band having a maximum width of 20 MHz.
- carrier aggregation there are cases where CCs that are continuous in the frequency direction are used and CCs that are separated in the frequency direction are used.
- carrier aggregation it is possible to set the CC to be used for each UE.
- one of a plurality of CCs used by the UE is a special CC.
- the one special CC is called a PCC (Primary Component Carrier).
- the remainder of the plurality of CCs is called SCC (Secondary Component Carrier).
- the PCC may vary from UE to UE. Hereinafter, this point will be described more specifically with reference to FIG.
- FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram for explaining an example of the PCC of each UE.
- UE 31A and UE 31B and five CC1 to CC5 are shown.
- the UE 31A uses three CCs, CC1, CC2, and CC3.
- UE31A is using CC2 as PCC.
- UE31B is using two CC called CC2 and CC4.
- UE31B is using CC4 as PCC. In this way, each UE may use a different CC as the PCC.
- the PCC is the most important CC among a plurality of CCs, it is desirable that the communication quality is the most stable CC. Note that which CC is used as a PCC actually depends on how it is mounted.
- SCC is added to PCC. Further, the added existing SCC can be deleted.
- the SCC is changed by deleting an existing SCC and adding a new SCC.
- the CC used by the UE when establishing the connection Becomes the PCC for the UE. More specifically, the connection is established through a connection establishment procedure. In that case, the state of UE changes from RRC Idle to RRC Connected. Moreover, CC used for the said procedure turns into PCC for the said UE.
- the above procedure is a procedure started from the UE side.
- the PCC is changed by inter-frequency handover. More specifically, when a handover is instructed in the connection reconfiguration procedure, the PCC is handed over and the PCC is changed.
- the above procedure is a procedure started from the network side.
- the SCC is added to the PCC.
- the SCC is attached to the PCC.
- the SCC is subordinate to the PCC.
- the addition of the SCC can be performed through a connection reconfiguration procedure. This procedure is a procedure started from the network side.
- the SCC can be deleted.
- the deletion of the SCC can be performed through a connection reconfiguration procedure. Specifically, a specific SCC specified in the message is deleted.
- the above procedure is a procedure started from the network side.
- deletion of all SCCs can be performed through a connection re-establishment procedure.
- PCC Connection establishment procedure transmission / reception of non-access stratum (NAS) signaling, and transmission / reception of uplink control signal on physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) are not performed in SCC. This is done only by PCC.
- NAS non-access stratum
- PUCCH physical uplink control channel
- radio link failure RLF
- the subsequent connection re-establishment procedure are not performed by the SCC, but only by the PCC.
- RLF radio link failure
- FIG. 2 is a first explanatory diagram for explaining an example of a procedure after detection of RLF.
- RLP Radio Link Problem
- the UE starts a timer T310.
- the timer T310 expires (expire)
- the UE detects the RLF, starts the timer T311, and starts a connection re-establishment procedure.
- the connection re-establishment procedure is successful.
- the timer T311 stops.
- FIG. 3 is a second explanatory diagram for explaining an example of a procedure after detection of a radio link failure (RLF).
- RLF radio link failure
- the connection re-establishment procedure is not successful.
- the timer T311 expires.
- the UE state transitions from RRC Connected to RRC Idle. If there is an SCC associated with the PCC, the SCC is released.
- FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram for explaining an example of a scenario in which different frequency bands are used for a macro cell and a small cell.
- a macro cell 10 and its eNB 11 are shown.
- a small cell 20 and its eNB 21 that overlap with the macro cell 10 as a whole are shown.
- UE31 which communicates with eNB11 and eNB21 is also shown.
- the eNB 11 uses, for example, a frequency band of 2 GHz as the frequency band of the macro cell 10 and communicates with the UE 31 using the frequency band.
- eNB21 uses the frequency band of 5 GHz band, for example as a frequency band of the small cell 20, and communicates with UE31 using the said frequency band.
- the macro cell is wider than the small cell, a scenario in which the eNB of the macro cell is responsible for transmission of the control signal is also being studied.
- the backhaul between eNBs is not always ideal.
- a backhaul between an eNB of a macro cell and an eNB of a small cell, or a backhaul between eNBs of a small cell may not be ideal.
- a delay in the backhaul (for example, a delay of about 50 ms) can occur.
- Such a delay in the backhaul between eNBs may affect wireless communication in the case of carrier aggregation. As a result, various problems may occur.
- the UE may use the macro cell CC as the PCC and the small cell CC as the SCC.
- an uplink control signal for the SCC (eg, ACK / NACK, etc.) may be transmitted on the PCC.
- the uplink control signal can be transmitted from the eNB of the macro cell to the eNB of the small cell via a backhaul.
- the uplink control signal (for example, ACK / NACK, etc.) may take a long time to reach the eNB of the small cell due to a delay in the backhaul. .
- the operation by the eNB of the small cell based on the uplink control signal is delayed, and for example, communication quality for the UE may be degraded.
- the backhaul between eNBs may be logically called an X2 interface.
- the backhaul between eNBs physically includes one or more physical lines.
- the physical line is an optical fiber line.
- the communication speed in the backhaul between eNBs depends on the configuration of the backhaul (for example, the type of each physical line and the number of devices through which data passes).
- an ACK Acknowledgement
- SCC downlink signal is transmitted on the PUCCH of the PCC. Since the ACK is used for data retransmission by the eNB, the ACK delay is not allowed. Therefore, when the first eNB that uses the CC that is the PCC for the UE is different from the second eNB that uses the CC that is the SCC for the UE, the first eNB and the second eNB It is desirable that the delay in the backhaul between and is about 10 ms at most.

- the macro base station 100 performs wireless communication with the terminal device 300 in the macro cell 10.
- the macro base station 100 supports carrier aggregation. That is, the macro base station 100 can use a plurality of component carriers (CC) at the same time for wireless communication with one terminal device 300.
- CC component carriers
- one or more CCs in the 2 MHz band are used as the CCs of the macro cell 10. That is, in the macro cell 10, one or more CCs in the 2 MHz band are used for wireless communication between the macro base station 100 and the terminal device 300.

- one or more CCs in the 5 MHz band are used as CCs of the small cell 20. That is, in the small cell 20, one or more CCs in the 5 MHz band are used for wireless communication between the small base station 200 and the terminal device 300.
- the terminal device 300 performs wireless communication with the macro base station 100 within the macro cell 10. In addition, the terminal device 300 performs wireless communication with the small base station 200 in the small cell 20.
- the terminal device 300 supports carrier aggregation and can perform wireless communication using one PCC and one or more SCCs.
- the terminal device 300 performs wireless communication with the macro base station 100 using one PCC and one or more SCCs.
- the terminal device 300 performs wireless communication with the small base station 200 using one PCC and one or more SCCs.
- the terminal device 300 uses one or more SCCs while performing wireless communication with the macro base station 100 using one PCC (or one PCC and one or more SCCs). Then, wireless communication with the small base station 200 is performed.

- the information about the terminal device includes identification information for identifying the terminal device.
- the information about the terminal device may include capability information of the terminal device.
- the capability information may include, for example, information indicating whether the terminal device supports carrier aggregation.
- the said terminal device which uses one CC of the macrocell 10 as PCC is the terminal device 300, for example.
- the communication control unit 153 performs control related to wireless communication.
- (1) Setting of CC used by terminal device For example, the communication control unit 153 sets the CC used by the terminal device.
- the communication control unit 153 sets the CC used by the terminal device by updating the setting information on the CC used by the terminal device.
- the communication control unit 153 sets, for example, a PCC used by the terminal device.
- connection of the terminal device 300 is established in the CC of the macro cell 10. More specifically, for example, the macro base station 100 and the terminal device 300 perform a connection establishment procedure in one CC of the macro cell 10, and as a result, the connection of the terminal device 300 is established. - the communication control unit 153 transmits one CC of the one or more CCs of the small cell 20 to the terminal device (that is, the macro cell 10) using an uplink control channel.
- Terminal device using one CC as a PCC is set as a special CC that can transmit uplink control information.
- the special CC is referred to as a “sub PCC”.
- the special CC may be called by another name such as small PCC or super SCC instead of sub PCC.
- a specific example of the setting of the sub PCC will be described with reference to FIG.
- FIG. 7 is an explanatory diagram for explaining an example of the setting of the sub PCC.
- CC1 and CC2 used by the macro base station 100 and CC3, CC4, and CC5 used by the small base station 200 are shown.
- the communication control unit 153 sets CC1 as a PCC for the terminal device 300, and CC4 as a sub PCC for the terminal device 300. Set.
- the sub PCC is a CC of the small cell 20. Further, the sub PCC is a CC to which the terminal device (that is, a terminal device using one CC of the macro cell 10 as a PCC) can transmit uplink control information on the uplink control channel.
- the terminal device that is, a terminal device using one CC of the macro cell 10 as a PCC
- the uplink control channel is, for example, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). That is, the sub PCC is a CC through which the terminal apparatus can transmit uplink control information on the PUCCH.
- PUCCH physical uplink control channel
- the uplink control information includes, for example, an acknowledgment (ACK) and a negative acknowledgment (NACK) regarding reception of a downlink signal.
- the sub PCC is a CC that can transmit ACK / NACK through an uplink control channel (for example, PUCCH).
- the ACK / NACK is ACK / NACK of HARQ (Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request).
- the uplink control information includes, for example, a scheduling request (SR). That is, the sub PCC is a CC that can transmit a scheduling request (SR) through an uplink control channel (for example, PUCCH).
- SR scheduling request
- PUCCH uplink control channel
- the uplink control information includes, for example, channel state information (CSI: Channel State Information) that is periodically reported. That is, the sub PCC is a CC that can transmit CSI periodically reported on the uplink control channel (for example, PUCCH).
- CSI includes, for example, CQI (Channel Quality Indicator), PMI (Precoding Matrix Indicator), PTI (Precoding Type Indicator), and / or RI (Rank Indicator).
- the uplink control information may include information for power control. That is, the sub PCC may be a CC capable of transmitting information for power control through an uplink control channel (for example, PUCCH).
- PUCCH uplink control channel
- uplink control information is not transmitted on the uplink control channel (PUCCH) in the SCC, and uplink control information on the SCC is transmitted on the uplink control channel (PUCCH) of the PCC. Therefore, when the SCC is the CC of the small cell 20 and the PCC is the CC of the macro cell 10, a large amount of uplink control information about the SCC reaches the small base station 200 due to a delay in the backhaul. It can take time. Therefore, as described above, one CC of the small cell 20 is set as the sub PCC. Then, the uplink control information may be transmitted on the uplink control channel (PUCCH) of the sub PCC. Therefore, for example, the influence on the wireless communication due to the backhaul is reduced.
- PUCCH uplink control channel
- ACK / NACK can be transmitted on the uplink control channel (PUCCH) of the sub PCC, ACK / NACK arrives at the small base station 200 promptly. Therefore, appropriate retransmission control may be possible.
- PUCCH uplink control channel
- the scheduling request can be transmitted on the uplink control channel (PUCCH) of the sub PCC, the scheduling request reaches the small base station 200 promptly. Therefore, prompt scheduling can be possible.
- PUCCH uplink control channel
- the CSI reported periodically can be transmitted on the uplink control channel (PUCCH) of the sub PCC, so that the CSI quickly reaches the small base station 200. Therefore, it may be possible to quickly adapt the wireless communication of the terminal device to the environment.
- PUCCH uplink control channel
- the sub PCC for the terminal device is a CC for which connection establishment procedures are not performed by the terminal device. Further, for example, the sub PCC for the terminal device is a CC in which NAS signaling to the terminal device is not performed.
- the sub PCC is a CC selected for each terminal device. That is, when the sub PCC of a certain terminal device is the first CC of the small cell 20, the sub PCC of another terminal device may be the second CC of the small cell 20.
- the communication control unit 153 sets the one or more of the small cells 20 The one CC among the CCs is set as a sub PCC.
- backhaul information indicating whether the backhaul between the macro base station 100 and the small base station 200 satisfies the predetermined quality standard is stored in the storage unit 140.
- the backhaul information is information indicating whether the backhaul is ideal.
- the communication control unit 153 confirms from the backhaul information whether the backhaul satisfies the predetermined quality standard (that is, the backhaul is ideal). When the backhaul does not satisfy the predetermined quality standard, the communication control unit 153 sets one CC of the small cell 20 as a sub PCC.
- the backhaul information may be predetermined information, or may be information that is dynamically changed according to the communication status in the backhaul.
- the predetermined quality standard includes, for example, a standard of communication speed, throughput, and / or latency.
- the predetermined quality criteria may include other quality criteria instead of these criteria in addition to these criteria.
- one CC of the small cell 20 is added by the terminal device 300 based on a measurement result (for example, a measurement report) by the terminal device 300.
- a measurement result for example, a measurement report
- the communication control unit 153 Sets the one CC of the small cell 20 as a sub PCC.
- setting information indicating the CC of the small cell 20 used by the terminal device is stored in the small base station 200.
- the communication control unit 153 causes the small base station 200 to update the setting information so that the setting information indicates that the one CC of the small cell 20 is a sub PCC for the terminal device 300.
- the communication control unit 153 causes the small base station 200 to update the setting information by providing the small base station 200 with a message for instructing the update of the setting information via the network communication unit 130.
- the one CC is set as a sub PCC used by the terminal device 300.
- the small base station 200 performs wireless communication with the terminal device 300 using the one CC as a sub PCC according to the setting information.
- the communication control unit 153 for example, the sub PCC of the one or more CCs of the small cell 20 (that is, one or more CCs set as the additional CC).
- the CC not set as is set as the SCC attached to the sub PCC.
- the communication control unit 153 sets each of the remaining CCs other than the sub PCC among the one or more CCs of the small cell 20 as an SCC associated with the sub PCC.
- FIG. 8 a specific example of setting of the SCC associated with the sub PCC will be described.
- FIG. 8 is an explanatory diagram for explaining an example of the setting of the SCC attached to the sub PCC.
- CC1 and CC2 used by the macro base station 100 and CC3, CC4, and CC5 used by the small base station 200 are shown.
- the terminal device 300 uses five CCs CC1 to CC5.
- the communication control unit 153 sets CC1 as the PCC for the terminal device 300, and sets CC2 as the SCC associated with the PCC.

- the communication control unit 153 sets one CC among the one or more CCs as a sub PCC (that is, a special CC in which the terminal apparatus can transmit uplink control information through an uplink control channel).
- uplink control information is not transmitted on the uplink control channel in the SCC, and uplink control information on the SCC is transmitted on the uplink control channel of the PCC. Then, the uplink control information can be transmitted on the uplink control channel of the sub PCC. Therefore, for example, the influence on the wireless communication due to the backhaul is reduced.

- the communication control unit 153 sets the sub PCC as the sub PCC.
- the terminal device is notified that the CC is to be added.
- a terminal device using the CC of the macro cell 10 as a PCC can know which CC is a sub PCC for the terminal device. Therefore, the terminal apparatus can actually transmit uplink control information on the uplink control channel of the sub PCC. Since the terminal device performs a procedure for establishing a connection in the PCC, the PCC is obvious to the terminal device. However, since the terminal device does not perform the procedure for establishing a connection in the sub PCC, the sub PCC Not obvious to the device. - the uplink control information for the SCC associated with the sub PCC is transmitted on the uplink control channel of the sub PCC.
- the uplink control information for the sub PCC can be transmitted on the uplink control channel of the sub PCC. Therefore, for example, the influence on the radio communication by the backhaul can be further reduced.
- a terminal device that uses the CC of the macro cell 10 as the PCC can know which CC is the SCC associated with the sub PCC. Therefore, the terminal apparatus can actually transmit the uplink control information for the SCC on the uplink control channel of the sub PCC.
- the communication control unit 153 changes the sub PCC by newly setting one CC set as the SCC attached to the sub PCC as the sub PCC. .
- the change of the sub PCC does not require a complicated procedure such as handover unlike the change of the PCC. Therefore, for example, the sub PCC can be changed with a smaller burden.
- the SCC attached to the sub PCC is not released, deleted, deactivated (deactivated), and continuously used. Therefore, it is not necessary to add CC again, so the burden can be reduced. That is, the sub PCC can be changed with a smaller burden.
- the communication control unit 153 changes the sub PCC to the one CC newly set as the sub PCC when the sub PCC is changed.
- the terminal device is notified that the PCC is changed.
- the terminal device using the CC of the macro cell 10 as the PCC can know the change of the sub PCC. Therefore, the terminal apparatus can actually transmit uplink control information on the uplink control channel of the sub PCC after the change of the sub PCC.
- the communication control unit 153 is set as an SCC attached to the sub PCC through a predetermined procedure when a radio link failure (RLF) occurs in the sub PCC.
- RLF radio link failure
- One CC is newly set as a sub PCC.
- the SCC attached to the sub PCC can be used continuously. Therefore, for example, communication quality can be improved.
- the communication control unit 153 stops using the terminal device by the sub PCC and the SCC attached to the sub PCC.

当該1つの特別なCCは、PCC(Primary Component Carrier)と呼ばれる。また、上記複数のCCのうちの残りは、SCC(Secondary Component Carrier)と呼ばれる。
また、ネットワーク通信部130は、コアネットワークノード(例えば、MME(Mobility Management Entity)、S-GW(Serving Gateway)など)と通信する。
例えば、マクロ基地局100は、eNB(evolved Node B)として実現されてもよい。

通信制御部153は、上記1つ以上のCCのうちの1つのCCを、サブPCC(即ち、アップリンク制御チャネルで上記端末装置がアップリンク制御情報を送信可能な特別なCC)として設定する。
