Abstract

The gas burner cooking system includes a gas burner made from aluminium, steel or alloys having a burner cap made from cast steel, cast aluminium or sheet plate with thick enamel coating. The burner cap has circular 3 mm diameter holes or rectangular holes (2 mm x 8 mm) on the top surface creating substantially vertical flames. The bottom of the cooking vessel comprises heat fins arranged about the circular edge. The fins may be made from steel, alloy steel, aluminium or alloy aluminium.

Description

GAS BURNER COOKING SYSTEM WITH VERTICAL FLAMES AND A COOKING VESSEL BOTTOM HAVING HEAT EXCHANGE FINS
A heating system is consisting of special burner equipment, burner bonnet and cooker with spec ial soffit.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION:
The invention relates to cooking and heating materials, which have steel soffit, or al loy steel soffit, alum inum soffit or copper soffit cookers in usage at gas flame industrial ovens and home appl icant ovens. There are three main changes in this invention;
1 ) There is new burner that directs gases up from exactly center of itself instead of directing gases sides of it circularly,
2) The directions of gases from burner are explained below;
New type of burner bonnet has 24 holes (for 2kW) with approximately 3 mm diameter and these holes direct flames and flames flow from these holes. Therefore, these vertical flames come circumferentially to center of cooker soffit and hit. After collision, these flames reflect with 90 degrees angle to cooker soffit edges from center of cooker soffit. Consequently, new type cooker soffit holds and absorbs most of heat energy.
3) Rest of the flames is hold between heat-holder little wings which are placed under cooker soffit surface at edge of soffit. Therefore, none of the flames can escape from cooker soffit and al l heating energy of flames is absorbed with maximum efficient by this system.
PREVIOUS TECHNIC:
The flames emanate from circular side holes of burner and burner bonnet and h it to cookers soffit in tradition method. In addition, with this traditional method some of the flames leak from edge of the cooker soffit easily.
AIM of THE INVENTION:
The advantages of the invention are proved by fol lowing experiments. With traditional cooker and systems, 2 liters and 3 liters pure waters can be boiled in 14 minutes and 1 9 minutes respectively. However, with new invention 2 liters pure water can be boiled 8 minutes in other words 6 m inutes quicker than traditional system. In addition, 3 liters pure water can be boi led in 1 1 m inutes, which means quicker than traditional system with same amount of energy. Electronic devices and sensors take these measurements. Digital clocks and temperature sensors were used in these experiments. Temperature sensor was put into pure water directly and measurements were taken. In these experiments, cooker without lid was used.
With roughly calculation,
2 liters pure water experiment 8/ 14 means % 57.14 advantage from time
3 liters pure water experiment 1 1/19 means % 57. 14 advantage from time
It can be easily seen that with new invention provide %57 gain from time. These experiments were made under exactly same conditions for cookers (same room, same oven, and same 2 kW burners). The invention can provide savings big amounts of gas, heating energy and time when it is used at especial ly home kitchen applicants that might be coffee pot, saucepan, cooker, pressure cooker, pan, teapot and so on. Cost of heating and cooking facilities will be reduced with % 50.
In addition to home usages, the invention will provide many benefits and savings for catering firms, big restaurants, huge hotels kitchens, and military camps kitchens. These savings wi l l be about gas, heating energy and time. For example, for steel cookers with %57 saving eftkiencv, this invention make cooking time less than traditional cookers and burner because in steel cooker cooking starts after boiling process.
Moreover, this cooker with special soffit can be used on ovens, which have partly induction- heating group. There is not going to be any problem because of steel or al loy steel soffit.

EXPLANATION of the INVENTION :
In my invention, oven flames come circumferentially to cooker soffit from new type of burner bonnet' s circular holes and hit vertical ly (90 degree) to soffit of cooker. Then, these flames reflect and spread through all soffit surface with 90-degree angles. The cooker soffit absorb al l of heat energy comes from flames. Lastly, heat-holder wings, which are replaced edges of soffit surface, hold and absorb al l remained heating energy from flames. Therefore, this system does not al low escaping any of heating energy of flames. Specifications of efficient parts of this system are given below;
1 ) Burning process occurs under the cooker soffit at the center of soffit surface with circular flames. This process is obtained by new type of burner and burner bonnet.
2) At the burning process, new system cooker soffit and heat-holder wings do not al low
escaping any of flames that are coming from oven.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICATION of THE INVENTION:
The invention can be used at industrial applications that are heating and cooking oven working with flames (LPG and Gas) and steel or aluminum soffit surfaces. On the other hands, the invention can be applied to home kitchen cooking systems with new type of soffit with coffee pot, saucepan, cooker, pressure cooker, pan, teapot and so on. In addition, the invention can be used for ceramic surface bases heating and cooking systems at industrial and home kitchen systems. Heat-holder wings which are placed to edge of the soffit surface can be appl ied to ceramic, steel , alloy steel, stainless steel, alloy alum inum and ceram ic, and copper soffit surface which can absorb heating energy.

Claims

CLAIMS:
1 ) The invention is new type of burner, which provides gas flow from one central circular hole in itself.
2) The invention is new type of burner bonnet that make gas flow vertical to surface from
overhead. The burner bonnet has some holes, which are placed circularly and position ing through above on the top surface of burner bonnet, and these holes make gas flow regular and vertical.
3) The invention is new type of cooker soffit with wings, which are placed edge of cooker soffit and made by steel, al loy steel, special aluminum or ceram ic. These heat-holder wings are special for holding heat energy and made in rectangular form.
