Definitions
- the present invention relates to a washer comprising a cleaning agent dispenser.
- Flushing units are required in order to efficiently flush the cleaning agents transferred into the housing with water in washers like washing machines and laundry washing and drying machine. Spraying water from over the cleaning agent dispenser is not sufficient and the cleaning agents such as detergent, softener, etc. not mixed into the wash water efficiently may form dirt inside the detergent housing. Cleaning agents that harden by drying may cause generation of undesired bad odors by accelerating the formation of bacteria.
- the cleaning agents transferred into the housing are required to be mixed into the wash water so as not to leave any residues on the base of the housing.
- the aim of the present invention is the realization of a washer wherein the cleaning agents are efficiently mixed into the wash water.
- the washer realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises an auxiliary flushing unit that is situated on the side wall of the housing wherein the cleaning agent dispenser is placed and that extends in the movement direction of the dispenser.
- the auxiliary flushing unit disposed on the side wall of the housing flushes the cleaning agents on the base of the housing to be delivered to the tub with water and cleans the base of the housing by assisting the main flushing unit.
- the cleaning agents are prevented from accumulating in the housing.
- the auxiliary flushing unit comprises a channel disposed on the side wall of the housing and more than one headpiece that opens into the housing inside the channel.
- the headpieces enable the water to be equally distributed and to move in the desired direction.
- one edge of the channel is open and a lid that covers the channel is provided.
- headpieces that are arranged consecutively along the channel are provided.
- the headpieces are configured so as to narrow towards the inside of the housing.
- the cross-sections of the headpieces are rectangular and the bases thereof remain stationary and the edge heights decrease towards the inside of the housing.
- the headpieces have a right trapezoid shape when viewed sideways.
- a barrier is disposed at the inlet of the lid forming the auxiliary flushing unit.
- the auxiliary flushing unit disposed on the side wall of the housing is configured to be suitable to the curved structure of the base of the housing.
- directing the water becomes easier and the effectiveness of the process of flushing with water is increased.
- the auxiliary flushing unit extends all along on the side wall of the housing.
- a much wider area is washed with water without leaving any blind spots and the cleaning agents are prevented from accumulating and forming an unfavorable sight by drying inside the housing.
- the auxiliary flushing unit is fed via the water conduit that feeds the main flushing unit.
- a process of double-sided flushing with water is performed and the cleaning agents are mixed into the wash water without being wasted and leaving any residues inside the housing.
- auxiliary flushing unit used in the washer of the present invention, the cleaning agents are effectively mixed into the wash water and cleaning agent accumulation inside the housing is prevented.
- the auxiliary flushing unit that sprays water to the points whereto the main flushing unit cannot deliver water does not leave any blind spot and effective hygiene is provided by preventing the user from encountering any cleaning agent residues in the housing when he/she dislodges the dispenser.
- the speed of the water is increased and the base of the housing is enabled to be effectively washed.

- the washer (1) comprises a body (2), a tub (3) disposed within the body (2) wherein the washing – drying processes are performed, a housing (4) disposed on the body (2), a dispenser (5) disposed inside the housing (4) and having more than one division (6) wherein the cleaning agents are stored, a main flushing unit (7) that is disposed within the housing (4) and that enables water to be transferred into the dispenser (5), and an outlet opening (8) that is arranged on the base of the housing (4) and that opens to the tub (3).
- Powder and liquid cleaning agents are used in the washer (1).
- the user pulls the dispenser (5) partially outwards and fills in the cleaning agents.
- the main flushing unit (7) provides the delivery of the powder and/or liquid cleaning agents to be mixed into the wash water to the tub (3) by flushing water into the dispenser (5) and thus directing them to the outlet opening (8) on the base of the housing (4).
- the base of the housing (4) is inclined towards the outlet opening (8) so that the cleaning agents move easily.
- the washer (1) of the present invention comprises an auxiliary flushing unit (9) that is situated on the side wall of the housing (4) and that extends in the movement direction of the dispenser (5).
- the auxiliary flushing unit (9) facilitates the delivery of the cleaning agents to be mixed into wash water to the tub (3) and prevents the accumulation of the cleaning agents on the base of the housing (4) by washing the base of the housing (4) and the side walls and spraying water to the points whereto the main flushing unit (7) cannot directly deliver water.
- the auxiliary flushing unit (9) comprises a channel (10) disposed on the side wall of the housing (4) and more than one headpiece (12) that is disposed on the channel (10) and that opens into the housing (4).
- the headpieces (12) increase the effectiveness of the flushing process by enabling the water to be directed in the desired direction and thus providing a homogeneous water distribution.
- the auxiliary flushing unit (9) comprises a channel (10) with one edge open and a lid (11) that covers the channel (10).
- the auxiliary flushing unit (9) comprises headpieces (12) on the channel (10) that are arranged consecutively along the channel (10).
- the auxiliary flushing unit (9) comprises headpieces (12) the cross-sectional areas of which narrow in the flow direction of water. Thus, the speed of the sprayed water is increased.
- the headpieces (12) have a right trapezoid shape when viewed in the movement direction of the dispenser (5) and the edge heights decrease with respect to the flow direction of water. Thus, the water is directed in the desired direction.
- the auxiliary flushing unit (9) comprises a barrier (13) that is disposed on the lid (11) and that is positioned just before the first headpiece (12) with respect to the flow direction of water.
- the barrier (13) changes the direction of water by obstructing the water flowing into the channel (10) and thus water is enabled to be homogeneously distributed to the headpieces (12) and almost same amount of water is enabled to flow from each headpiece (12).
- the channel (10) forming the auxiliary flushing unit (9) is not a flat channel (10) and has a curved shape suitable to the shape of the base of the housing (4).
- the auxiliary flushing unit (9) having a shape suitable to the shape of the base of the housing (4), the water is enabled to be directed easily and the cleaning agents on the base of the housing (4) are flushed with water more effectively.
- the auxiliary flushing unit (9) extends all along the side wall of the housing (4). By means of the auxiliary flushing unit (9) having such a length, it becomes possible to wash a wider area inside the housing (4).
- the washer (1) comprises a water conduit (14) that feeds both the main flushing unit (7) and the auxiliary flushing unit (9).
- the main flushing unit (7) and the auxiliary flushing unit (9) being fed from the same water conduit (14), the cleaning agents are mixed into the wash water in a more effective manner and cleaning agents are prevented from accumulating inside the housing (4).
- the washer (1) is a washing machine.
- the washer (1) is a laundry washing and drying machine.
- the washer (1) is a dishwasher.
- the points inside the housing (4) whereto the main flushing unit (7) cannot deliver water can be washed by means of the auxiliary flushing unit (9) disposed on the side wall of the housing (4).
- the main flushing unit (7) washes the inside of the dispenser (5) and thus indirectly washes the inside of the housing (4) while the auxiliary flushing unit (9) directly washes the inside of the housing (4) and the side walls.
- the auxiliary flushing unit (9) directly washes the inside of the housing (4) and the side walls.
- More than one headpiece (12) is used on the auxiliary flushing unit (9) so that the auxiliary flushing unit (9) operates effectively, and the barrier (13) disposed at the inlet of the auxiliary flushing unit (9) is used so that an equal amount of water is sprayed from all the headpieces (12).
- the auxiliary flushing unit (9) is fed from the water conduit (14) that feeds the main flushing unit (7) and the effectiveness of the flushing process is increased.
