Abstract
屈折率が高くヘイズが低い、屈折率調整用コート材組成物、及び、これを用いる積層体を提供する。この屈折率調整用コート材組成物は、1分子中に(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を2個以上有する多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)、平均1次粒子径が200nm以下であり乾式のナノチタン酸バリウム(B)、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するシランカップリング剤(C)、光重合開始剤(D)及び有機溶剤(E)を含有する。
Description
本発明は屈折率調整用コート材組成物及びその積層体に関する。
近年普及している静電容量式タッチパネルにはITOフィルムが多く使用されている。ディスプレイ上におけるITO電極パターンの骨見え防止(不可視化)のため、ITOフィルムに対して、例えば、光学調整層(インデックスマッチング層)を有する光学フィルム(インデックスマッチングフィルム)を用いる場合がある(例えば、特許文献1を参照)。インデックスマッチングフィルムを用いることによって、ITO部(ITO部のインデックスは一般的に可視領域の光に対して2.1~2.2である。)とエッチング処理部との間の、屈折率(インデックス)のような光学特性の差を小さくし、ディスプレイ上からITO電極パターンを見えにくくすることができる。
本願発明者らは、インデックスマッチング層を形成するための組成物(以下、「屈折率調整用コート材組成物」ともいう)において、屈性率を上げるために重合性化合物に無機微粒子として湿式のチタン酸バリウムを使用したところ、大量に使用した場合、組成物及び/又はその硬化物に濁りが生じヘイズが高くなることを見出した。
そこで、本発明は、屈折率が高くヘイズが低い、屈折率調整用コート材組成物、これを用いる積層体を提供することを目的とする。

本発明者は、上記課題を解決すべく鋭意研究した結果、重合性化合物に無機微粒子として乾式のチタン酸バリウムを大量に使用する組成物を用いることによって、屈折率が高くしかもヘイズが低い硬化物が得られ、当該硬化物を有する積層体は屈折率が高く、濁りが生じないことを見出し、本発明を完成させた。
すなわち、本発明は以下の屈折率調整用コート材組成物及びその積層体を提供する。
(I)1分子中に(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を2個以上有する多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)、平均1次粒子径が200nm以下であり乾式のナノチタン酸バリウム(B)、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するシランカップリング剤(C)、光重合開始剤(D)及び有機溶剤(E)を含有する、屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
(II)上記(A)成分が、1分子中に、芳香族炭化水素基及び/又は1個以上のウレタン結合をさらに有する、上記(I)に記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
(III)さらに界面活性剤(F)を含有し、上記界面活性剤が、1分子中にアミノ基を有する界面活性剤を少なくとも含む、上記(I)又は(II)に記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
(IV)上記(C)成分が、後述する式(1)で表される化合物である、上記(I)~(III)のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
(V)上記(A)成分100質量部に対して、上記(B)成分の量が40~200質量部、上記(C)成分の量が1~30質量部、上記(D)成分の量が1~10質量部である、上記(I)~(IV)のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
(VI)上記(A)成分が、上記芳香族炭化水素基を有し、上記芳香族炭化水素基がフルオレンである上記(II)~(V)のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
(VII)上記(A)成分が、上記1個以上のウレタン結合を有する上記(II)~(V)のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
(VIII)更にレベリング剤(G)を含有する上記(I)~(VII)のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
(IX)基材と、上記基材の上の、上記(I)~(VIII)のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物から得られるインデックスマッチング層とを有する積層体。
(X)更に、上記インデックスマッチング層の上のITO部を有する上記(IX)に記載の積層体。
(XI)上記基材と上記インデックスマッチング層との間に更にハードコート層を有する上記(IX)又は(X)に記載の積層体。

[屈折率調整用コート材組成物]
本発明について以下詳細に説明する。
本発明の屈折率調整用コート材組成物(本発明の組成物)は、1分子中に(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を2個以上有する多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)、平均1次粒子径が200nm以下であり乾式のナノチタン酸バリウム(B)、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するシランカップリング剤(C)、光重合開始剤(D)及び有機溶剤(E)を含有する、屈折率調整用コート材組成物である。
本願明細書において、多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)を、(A)成分又は(A)と記載することがある。他の成分についても同様である。
また、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基は、アクリロイルオキシ基(CH2=CHCOO-)又はメタクリロイルオキシ基(CH2=C(CH3)COO-)のいずれか一方又は両方であることを意味する。(メタ)アクリルについても同様である。
本発明について以下詳細に説明する。
本発明の屈折率調整用コート材組成物(本発明の組成物)は、1分子中に(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を2個以上有する多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)、平均1次粒子径が200nm以下であり乾式のナノチタン酸バリウム(B)、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するシランカップリング剤(C)、光重合開始剤(D)及び有機溶剤(E)を含有する、屈折率調整用コート材組成物である。
本願明細書において、多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)を、(A)成分又は(A)と記載することがある。他の成分についても同様である。
また、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基は、アクリロイルオキシ基(CH2=CHCOO-)又はメタクリロイルオキシ基(CH2=C(CH3)COO-)のいずれか一方又は両方であることを意味する。(メタ)アクリルについても同様である。
本発明の組成物は、(C)成分とともに、(A)成分、(B)成分、(D)成分及び(E)成分を含有し、本発明の組成物を用いて得られる塗膜は高屈折率であり、且つ良好な光学特性(全光線透過率、ヘイズ)を有することができる。また、当該塗膜は、外観が良好なコート材となることができる。
本発明の組成物は屈折率を高くするために(B)成分を多量に使用しても、(C)成分を使用することによって、ヘイズが高くなることを抑制し、曇りを生じないようにすることができる。これは、(B)成分の表面に(C)成分の一部が反応すると、(B)成分の親水的な表面が疎水的な表面に変性し、これにより(A)成分と(B)成分とが混合(反応)しやすくなることで、ヘイズの上昇が抑制されるためと考えられる。
本発明の組成物は屈折率を高くするために(B)成分を多量に使用しても、(C)成分を使用することによって、ヘイズが高くなることを抑制し、曇りを生じないようにすることができる。これは、(B)成分の表面に(C)成分の一部が反応すると、(B)成分の親水的な表面が疎水的な表面に変性し、これにより(A)成分と(B)成分とが混合(反応)しやすくなることで、ヘイズの上昇が抑制されるためと考えられる。
〔多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)〕
多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)について以下に説明する。本発明の組成物に含有される多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)は、1分子中に(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を2個以上有する化合物である。
(A)が1分子中に有する(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基の数は、ヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、3個以上であるのが好ましく、4~15個であるのがより好ましい。
多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)について以下に説明する。本発明の組成物に含有される多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)は、1分子中に(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を2個以上有する化合物である。
(A)が1分子中に有する(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基の数は、ヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、3個以上であるのが好ましく、4~15個であるのがより好ましい。
(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基は、炭化水素基と直接又は例えば、酸素原子、窒素原子、硫黄原子のようなヘテロ原子を介して結合することができる。炭化水素基は特に制限されない。例えば、脂肪族炭化水素基、脂環式炭化水素基、芳香族炭化水素基、これらの組み合わせが挙げられる。炭化水素基は、直鎖状、分岐状のいずれであってもよく、不飽和結合を有することができる。
なかでも、炭化水素基は、ヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、芳香族炭化水素基であるのが好ましい。
また、炭化水素基は、2個以上の炭化水素基(a)を有し、隣り合う炭化水素基(a)が例えば、ウレタン結合、ウレア結合、エステル結合、エーテル結合のような結合によって結合することができる。当該結合は、1分子当たり1個以上とすることができ、2個以上5個以下とすることができる。なかでも、炭化水素基は、屈折率をより高くしヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、ウレタン結合によって結合された炭化水素基であるのが好ましい。
なかでも、炭化水素基は、ヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、芳香族炭化水素基であるのが好ましい。
また、炭化水素基は、2個以上の炭化水素基(a)を有し、隣り合う炭化水素基(a)が例えば、ウレタン結合、ウレア結合、エステル結合、エーテル結合のような結合によって結合することができる。当該結合は、1分子当たり1個以上とすることができ、2個以上5個以下とすることができる。なかでも、炭化水素基は、屈折率をより高くしヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、ウレタン結合によって結合された炭化水素基であるのが好ましい。
炭化水素基が芳香族炭化水素基である場合、芳香族炭化水素基としては、例えば、2価以上の、ベンゼン環、ナフタレン環、フルオレン環などの芳香環が挙げられる。なかでも、屈折率をより高くしヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、芳香環が好ましく、フルオレン環がより好ましい。
炭化水素基がウレタン結合によって結合された炭化水素基である場合、ウレタン結合によって結合された炭化水素基は、少なくとも2個の炭化水素基(a)がウレタン結合を介して結合した炭化水素基とすることができる。
(A)成分は、屈折率をより高くしヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、1分子中に、芳香族炭化水素基及び/又は1個以上のウレタン結合をさらに有する化合物であるのが好ましい。
1分子中に、芳香族炭化水素基と2個以上の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基とを有する化合物としては、例えば、芳香環(例えばフルオレン環)と2個以上の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基とを有する化合物が挙げられる。
1分子中に、芳香族炭化水素基と2個以上の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基とを有する化合物としては、例えば、芳香環(例えばフルオレン環)と2個以上の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基とを有する化合物が挙げられる。
1分子中に、1個以上のウレタン結合と2個以上の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基とを有する化合物としては、例えば、イソシアネート化合物と、ヒドロキシ化合物とを反応させることによって得ることができる。また反応生成物が有する(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基の数が2個以上であれば、使用する、イソシアネート化合物とヒドロキシ化合物について、どちらが(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するか、その反応比率等は特に制限されない。
イソシアネート化合物はイソシアネート基を1個以上有する化合物であれば特に制限されず、ポリイソシアネート化合物とすることができる。
ポリイソシアネートとしては、1分子内にイソシアネート基を2個以上有するポリイソシアネートであれば特に限定されず、例えば、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)、トリメチルヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(TMHDI)、リジンジイソシアネート、ノルボルナンジイソシアネート(NBDI)などの脂肪族ポリイソシアネート;トランスシクロヘキサン-1,4-ジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート(IPDI)、ビス(イソシアネートメチル)シクロヘキサン(水添XDI)、ジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアネート(水添MDI)などの脂環式ポリイソシアネート;TDI(例えば、2,4-トリレンジイソシアネート(2,4-TDI)、2,6-トリレンジイソシアネート(2,6-TDI))、MDI(例えば、4,4′-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(4,4′-MDI)、2,4′-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(2,4′-MDI))、1,4-フェニレンジイソシアネート、ポリメチレンポリフェニレンポリイソシアネート、キシリレンジイソシアネート(XDI)、テトラメチルキシリレンジイソシアネート(TMXDI)、トリジンジイソシアネート(TODI)、1,5-ナフタレンジイソシアネート(NDI)、トリフェニルメタントリイソシアネートなどの芳香族ポリイソシアネート;これらのイソシアヌレート体;等が挙げられ、これらを1種単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
これらのうち、脂肪族ポリイソシアネート、脂環式ポリイソシアネートが好ましく、HDI、IPDI、水添XDI、水添MDIがより好ましい。
ポリイソシアネートとしては、1分子内にイソシアネート基を2個以上有するポリイソシアネートであれば特に限定されず、例えば、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)、トリメチルヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(TMHDI)、リジンジイソシアネート、ノルボルナンジイソシアネート(NBDI)などの脂肪族ポリイソシアネート;トランスシクロヘキサン-1,4-ジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート(IPDI)、ビス(イソシアネートメチル)シクロヘキサン(水添XDI)、ジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアネート(水添MDI)などの脂環式ポリイソシアネート;TDI(例えば、2,4-トリレンジイソシアネート(2,4-TDI)、2,6-トリレンジイソシアネート(2,6-TDI))、MDI(例えば、4,4′-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(4,4′-MDI)、2,4′-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(2,4′-MDI))、1,4-フェニレンジイソシアネート、ポリメチレンポリフェニレンポリイソシアネート、キシリレンジイソシアネート(XDI)、テトラメチルキシリレンジイソシアネート(TMXDI)、トリジンジイソシアネート(TODI)、1,5-ナフタレンジイソシアネート(NDI)、トリフェニルメタントリイソシアネートなどの芳香族ポリイソシアネート;これらのイソシアヌレート体;等が挙げられ、これらを1種単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
これらのうち、脂肪族ポリイソシアネート、脂環式ポリイソシアネートが好ましく、HDI、IPDI、水添XDI、水添MDIがより好ましい。
ヒドロキシ化合物が(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有する場合、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するヒドロキシ化合物は、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基及びヒドロキシ基をそれぞれ1個以上有する化合物であれば特に制限されない。ヒドロキシ化合物は、ヒドロキシ基を1個以上及び(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を1個以上有する化合物とすることができる。

1分子中に、1個以上のウレタン結合と2個以上の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基とを有する化合物は、屈折率をより高くしヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)またはイソホロンジイソシアネート(IPDI)と、ペンタエリスリトールトリアクリレート(PETA)、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサアクリレート(DPHA)またはジペンタエリスリトールペンタアクリレート(DPPA)とから得られるウレタンアクリレートが好ましい。
(A)はその製造について特に制限されない。例えば従来公知のものが挙げられる。(A)はそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
また、(A)成分の重量平均分子量は、100~5,000が好ましく、400~2,000がより好ましい。なお、重量平均分子量は、ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー(GPC)により標準ポリスチレン換算により測定するものとする。

〔ナノチタン酸バリウム(B)〕
ナノチタン酸バリウム(B)について以下に説明する。本発明の組成物に含有されるナノチタン酸バリウム(B)は、平均1次粒子径が200nm以下であり乾式のナノチタン酸バリウムである。
本発明において、ナノチタン酸バリウムが乾式であるとは、粉状(パウダー)を意味する。ナノチタン酸バリウム(B)の含水率は、屈折率をより高くしヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、ナノチタン酸バリウム(B)中の0.1~3質量%であるのが好ましく、0.1~1質量%であるのがより好ましい。
ナノチタン酸バリウム(B)について以下に説明する。本発明の組成物に含有されるナノチタン酸バリウム(B)は、平均1次粒子径が200nm以下であり乾式のナノチタン酸バリウムである。
本発明において、ナノチタン酸バリウムが乾式であるとは、粉状(パウダー)を意味する。ナノチタン酸バリウム(B)の含水率は、屈折率をより高くしヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、ナノチタン酸バリウム(B)中の0.1~3質量%であるのが好ましく、0.1~1質量%であるのがより好ましい。
ナノチタン酸バリウム(B)の平均1次粒子径は、屈折率をより高くしヘイズをより低下させ、塗工性および硬化性に優れるという観点から、10~200nmであるのが好ましく、10~50nmであるのがより好ましい。本発明において、チタン酸バリウムの平均1次粒子径は動的光散乱法に準じて測定された。
ナノチタン酸バリウム(B)はそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。

〔シランカップリング剤(C)〕
シランカップリング剤(C)について以下に説明する。本発明の組成物に含有されるシランカップリング剤(C)は、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するシランカップリング剤である。
(C)は1分子中に1個以上の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有することができる。
(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基は、直接又は例えば、酸素原子、窒素原子、硫黄原子のようなヘテロ原子を介して、炭化水素基Iと結合することができる。炭化水素基Iは特に制限されない。例えば、脂肪族炭化水素基、脂環式炭化水素基、芳香族炭化水素基、これらの組み合わせが挙げられる。炭化水素基は、直鎖状、分岐状のいずれであってもよく、不飽和結合を有することができる。
(C)が有するシリル基は、ケイ素原子に結合した、例えばアルコキシ基のような酸素原子を介してケイ素原子と結合した炭化水素基であれば特に制限されない。炭化水素基は上記炭化水素基Iと同様である。
シランカップリング剤(C)について以下に説明する。本発明の組成物に含有されるシランカップリング剤(C)は、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するシランカップリング剤である。
(C)は1分子中に1個以上の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有することができる。
(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基は、直接又は例えば、酸素原子、窒素原子、硫黄原子のようなヘテロ原子を介して、炭化水素基Iと結合することができる。炭化水素基Iは特に制限されない。例えば、脂肪族炭化水素基、脂環式炭化水素基、芳香族炭化水素基、これらの組み合わせが挙げられる。炭化水素基は、直鎖状、分岐状のいずれであってもよく、不飽和結合を有することができる。

光重合開始剤(D)としては、例えば、アルキルフェノン系光重合開始剤、アセトフェノン類、ベンゾフェノン類、ミヒラーベンゾイルベンゾエート、α-アミロキシムエステル、テトラメチルチュウラムモノサルファイド、ベンゾイン類、ベンゾインメチルエーテル、チオキサントン類、プロピオフェノン類、ベンジル類、アシルホスフィンオキシド類などが挙げられ、これらを1種単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
これらのうち、光安定性、光開裂の高効率性、相溶性、低揮発、低臭気という観点から、アルキルフェノン系光重合開始剤であるのが好ましい。
アルキルフェノン系光重合開始剤としては、具体的には、例えば、1-ヒドロキシ-シクロヘキシル-フェニル-ケトン、2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-フェニル-プロパン-1-オン、1-[4-(2-ヒドロキシエトキシ)-フェニル]-2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-プロパン-1-オン等が挙げられる。
光重合開始剤(D)はそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。

これらのうち、光安定性、光開裂の高効率性、相溶性、低揮発、低臭気という観点から、アルキルフェノン系光重合開始剤であるのが好ましい。
アルキルフェノン系光重合開始剤としては、具体的には、例えば、1-ヒドロキシ-シクロヘキシル-フェニル-ケトン、2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-フェニル-プロパン-1-オン、1-[4-(2-ヒドロキシエトキシ)-フェニル]-2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-プロパン-1-オン等が挙げられる。
光重合開始剤(D)はそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
〔有機溶剤(E)〕
有機溶剤(E)について以下に説明する。本発明の組成物に含有される有機溶剤(E)は、特に制限されない。例えば、シクロヘキサン、メチルシクロヘキサン、デカリンなどの脂環式炭化水素類;ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン、メシチレン、ドデシルベンゼン、メチルナフタレンなどの芳香族炭化水素類;メチレンクロライド、クロロホルム、エチレンクロライド、クロロベンゼンなどのハロゲン化物;THF、ジブチルエーテル、ジペンチルエーテル、ジヘキシルエーテル、ジヘプチルエーテル、ジオクチルエーテルなどのエーテル類;酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル、アクリル酸ブチル、メタクリル酸メチル、ヘキサメチレンジアクリレート、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレートなどのエステル類;メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、シクロヘキサノンなどのケトン類;プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、メチルセルソルブ、エチルセルソルブ、プロピルセルソルブ、ブチルセルソルブなどのグリコールエーテル類;等が挙げられ、これらを1種単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
有機溶剤(E)について以下に説明する。本発明の組成物に含有される有機溶剤(E)は、特に制限されない。例えば、シクロヘキサン、メチルシクロヘキサン、デカリンなどの脂環式炭化水素類;ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン、メシチレン、ドデシルベンゼン、メチルナフタレンなどの芳香族炭化水素類;メチレンクロライド、クロロホルム、エチレンクロライド、クロロベンゼンなどのハロゲン化物;THF、ジブチルエーテル、ジペンチルエーテル、ジヘキシルエーテル、ジヘプチルエーテル、ジオクチルエーテルなどのエーテル類;酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル、アクリル酸ブチル、メタクリル酸メチル、ヘキサメチレンジアクリレート、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレートなどのエステル類;メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、シクロヘキサノンなどのケトン類;プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、メチルセルソルブ、エチルセルソルブ、プロピルセルソルブ、ブチルセルソルブなどのグリコールエーテル類;等が挙げられ、これらを1種単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を併用してもよい。
〔各成分の含有量〕
本発明の組成物において、(B)成分の量は、屈折率をより高くしヘイズをより低下させ、光学特性や塗工性に優れるという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、40~200質量部であるのが好ましく、50~125質量部であるのがより好ましい。
(B)の量は、屈折率をより高くするという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、40質量部以上であるのが好ましい。また、(B)の量は、ヘイズをより低くするという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、200質量部以下であるのが好ましい。
(C)成分の量は、ヘイズをより低下させ、(A)成分への(B)成分の分散性に優れるという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、1~30質量部であるのが好ましく、1~15質量部であるのがより好ましい。
(D)成分の量は、ヘイズをより低下させ、硬化性に優れるという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、1~10質量部であるのが好ましく、2~5質量部であるのがより好ましい。
(E)成分の量は、ヘイズをより低下させ、(A)成分と(B)成分との相溶性の向上に優れるという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、100~500質量部であるのが好ましく、200~400質量部であるのがより好ましい。
本発明の組成物において、(B)成分の量は、屈折率をより高くしヘイズをより低下させ、光学特性や塗工性に優れるという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、40~200質量部であるのが好ましく、50~125質量部であるのがより好ましい。
(B)の量は、屈折率をより高くするという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、40質量部以上であるのが好ましい。また、(B)の量は、ヘイズをより低くするという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、200質量部以下であるのが好ましい。
(C)成分の量は、ヘイズをより低下させ、(A)成分への(B)成分の分散性に優れるという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、1~30質量部であるのが好ましく、1~15質量部であるのがより好ましい。
(D)成分の量は、ヘイズをより低下させ、硬化性に優れるという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、1~10質量部であるのが好ましく、2~5質量部であるのがより好ましい。
(E)成分の量は、ヘイズをより低下させ、(A)成分と(B)成分との相溶性の向上に優れるという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、100~500質量部であるのが好ましく、200~400質量部であるのがより好ましい。
〔その他の成分〕
本発明の組成物は、組成物の安定性に優れるという観点から、さらに界面活性剤(F)を含有するのが好ましい。界面活性剤(F)は特に制限されない。なかでも、組成物(特に(B)成分)の安定性、レベリング性(すなわち、表面の均一性)に優れるという観点から、1分子中に塩基性基を有する塩基性界面活性剤を少なくとも含むのが好ましい。ここで、塩基性基としては、例えば、アミン基、アミノ基、アミド基、ピロリドン基、イミン基、イミノ基、ウレタン基、四級アンモニウム基、アンモニウム基、ピリジノ基、ピリジウム基、イミダゾリノ基、イミダゾリウム基などが挙げられる。上記塩基性界面活性剤としては、市販品を用いることができ、具体的には、例えば、SOLSPERSEシリーズの13240、13940、24000SC、24000GR、26000、31845、32000、32500、32550、34750、35100、35200、37500(以上、日本ルーブリゾール社製)、アジスパーPB821、同PB822、同PB881(以上、味の素社製)等が挙げられる。
界面活性剤(F)はそれぞれ単独でまたは2種以上を組み合わせて使用することができる。
(F)成分の量は、ヘイズをより低下させ、組成物の安定性に優れるという観点から、(A)成分100質量部に対して、0.01~5質量部であるのが好ましく、0.1~2質量部であるのがより好ましい。

本発明の組成物の硬化方法としては例えば紫外線による硬化方法が挙げられる。本発明の組成物を紫外線照射によって硬化させる場合、本発明の組成物を硬化させる際に使用する紫外線の照射量としては、速硬化性、作業性の観点から、200~1,200mJ/cm2が好ましい。紫外線を照射するために使用する装置は特に制限されない。例えば、従来公知のものが挙げられる。硬化させるに際し加熱を併用してもよい。
本発明の組成物は、屈折率が高くヘイズが低く光学特性に優れる。
本発明の組成物を例えば基材又はハードコート層に塗布した後、これを乾燥させて、有機溶剤(E)を本発明の組成物の層から除去することができる。乾燥後の、本発明の組成物の層は不揮発成分のみ[例えば、(A)、(B)、(C)及び(D)並びに任意で使用する場合の(F)及び/又は(G)]を含有するものとすることができる。

[積層体]
本発明の積層体について以下に説明する。
本発明の積層体は、基材と、基材の上の、本発明の屈折率調整用コート材組成物から得られるインデックスマッチング層(コート材)とを有する積層体である。
本発明の積層体は、屈折率の高いインデックスマッチング層を有し、インデックスマッチング層とITO部(ITO層)との屈折率差を小さくするように調整することでITO層の電極パターンを見えにくくする。
本発明の積層体に使用される基材は特に制限されない。例えば、上記と同様である。
本発明の積層体に使用される屈折率調整用コート材組成物は本発明の組成物であれば特に制限されない。
本発明の積層体について以下に説明する。
本発明の積層体は、基材と、基材の上の、本発明の屈折率調整用コート材組成物から得られるインデックスマッチング層(コート材)とを有する積層体である。
本発明の積層体は、屈折率の高いインデックスマッチング層を有し、インデックスマッチング層とITO部(ITO層)との屈折率差を小さくするように調整することでITO層の電極パターンを見えにくくする。

本発明の積層体は、更に、インデックスマッチング層の上のITO部を有することができる。ITO部は特に制限されない。
また、本発明の積層体は、基材とインデックスマッチング層との間に更にハードコート層を有することができる。ハードコート層は特に制限されない。例えば、上記と同様である。
また、本発明の積層体は、基材とインデックスマッチング層との間に更にハードコート層を有することができる。ハードコート層は特に制限されない。例えば、上記と同様である。
基材の厚さは50~300μmとすることができる。
インデックスマッチング層の厚さは10~500nmとすることができ、20~200nmであるのが好ましく、20~100nmであるのがより好ましい。
ITO部(ITO層)の厚さは10~500nmとすることができ、50~300nmが好ましく、100~200nmがより好ましい。
ハードコート層の厚さは1~10μmとすることができ、1~5μmであるのが好ましく、2~3μmであるのがより好ましい。
インデックスマッチング層の厚さは10~500nmとすることができ、20~200nmであるのが好ましく、20~100nmであるのがより好ましい。
ITO部(ITO層)の厚さは10~500nmとすることができ、50~300nmが好ましく、100~200nmがより好ましい。
ハードコート層の厚さは1~10μmとすることができ、1~5μmであるのが好ましく、2~3μmであるのがより好ましい。
本発明の積層体について以下添付の図面を用いて説明する。本発明は添付の図面に制限されない。
図1は、本発明の積層体の具体的態様の一例を模式的に示す断面図である。図1において、積層体100は、基材102とインデックスマッチング層104とを有する。基材およびインデックスマッチング層の厚さは特に制限されない。

図2は、本発明の積層体の具体的態様の別の一例を模式的に示す断面図である。図2において、積層体200は、基材202とハードコート層208とインデックスマッチング層204とITO部(ITO層)206とITO部(ITO層)207とを有する。ITO部206とITO部207との間の符号210はITOがない部分(部分201の表面はインデックスマッチング層204である。)を示す。基材、インデックスマッチング層、ハードコート層およびITO部の厚さは特に制限されない。ITOがない部分の形成は特に制限されない。
なお、インデックスマッチング層は、2層からなるのが好ましい。すなわち、ITO層側に設けられてITO層よりも屈折率の高い高屈インデックスマッチング層と、基材側に設けられてITO層よりも屈折率の低い低屈インデックスマッチング層とから構成されているのが好ましい。
本発明の組成物は、このうち、低屈インデックスマッチング層に好適に用いられる。

本発明の積層体は有するインデックスマッチング層は屈折率が高くヘイズが低いので、ITO部との屈折率の差が小さく、ITO部を不可視化するのに優れる。
インデックスマッチング層とITO部との屈折率の差が0.6以下である場合、ITO部の不可視化に優れる。
図2の場合、ITO部206およびITO部207における屈折率と、部分210における屈折率との差を小さくすることができる。

本発明の積層体はその製造について特に制限されない。例えば、本発明の組成物を基材又はハードコート層に適用し硬化させることによって得ることができる。適用、硬化については特に制限されない。例えば上記と同義である。ITO部の形成は特に制限されない。例えば従来公知のものが挙げられる。
本発明の積層体の用途としては、例えば、インデックスマッチングフィルムが挙げられる。インデックスマッチングフィルムは、例えば、タッチパネルのようなディスプレイ用途電子デバイス部品を構成することができる。
本発明の積層体は、ディスプレイ用途電子デバイス部品に内蔵させる又は後付けで使用することができる。

以下に実施例を示して本発明を具体的に説明する。ただし本発明はこれらに限定されない。
<屈折率調整用コート材組成物の製造>
第1表に示す成分を同表に示す量(質量部)で用いて、これらを混合して屈折率調整用コート材組成物を製造した。

<塗膜(インデックスマッチング層)の製造>
上記のとおり製造された屈折率調整用コート材組成物を、フィルム(商品名:ルミラーU-46、東レ社製、厚さ:125μm、材質:PET)の上にバーコーターNo.5で塗装(膜厚:2-3μmになるように調整)し、その後50℃で1時間乾燥して、300mW/cm2、300mJ/cm2の条件下で組成物にUVを照射して組成物を硬化させて、塗膜(屈折率調整用コート材組成物の硬化物の層(インデックスマッチング層))を有する積層体を製造した。
上記のとおり製造された屈折率調整用コート材組成物を、フィルム(商品名:ルミラーU-46、東レ社製、厚さ:125μm、材質:PET)の上にバーコーターNo.5で塗装(膜厚:2-3μmになるように調整)し、その後50℃で1時間乾燥して、300mW/cm2、300mJ/cm2の条件下で組成物にUVを照射して組成物を硬化させて、塗膜(屈折率調整用コート材組成物の硬化物の層(インデックスマッチング層))を有する積層体を製造した。
<評価>
上記のとおり製造した、屈折率調整用コート材組成物又は積層体を用いて以下の評価をした。結果を第1表に示す。

・塗膜物性(全光線透過率)
ヘイズメーター(HM-150、村上色彩技術研究所製)を用いて、JIS K7361に準じて、上記のとおり製造した積層体の全光線透過率を測定した。

・塗膜物性(ヘイズ)
ヘイズメーター(HM-150、村上色彩技術研究所製)を用いて、JIS K7105に準じて、上記のとおり製造した積層体のヘイズを測定した。
ヘイズが2.0以下であれば、曇りが抑制され、光学特性に優れたものとして評価でき、1.0以下がより好ましく、0.5以下が更に好ましい。
ヘイズメーター(HM-150、村上色彩技術研究所製)を用いて、JIS K7105に準じて、上記のとおり製造した積層体のヘイズを測定した。
ヘイズが2.0以下であれば、曇りが抑制され、光学特性に優れたものとして評価でき、1.0以下がより好ましく、0.5以下が更に好ましい。
・塗膜物性(屈折率)
上記のとおり製造した積層体について、JIS K 7105:1981に準拠する測定法でATAGO社製アッベリフレクトメータを用いて、ナトリウムのスペクトルのD線(589.6nm(D1),589.0nm(D2))における屈折率を測定した。屈折率の測定範囲は1.3~1.71である。
屈折率は、塗膜(インデックスマッチング層)上に形成されるITO層との屈折率差を小さくしてITO層のパターンを不可視化するという観点から、1.60~1.71が好ましく、1.65~1.71がより好ましい。
上記のとおり製造した積層体について、JIS K 7105:1981に準拠する測定法でATAGO社製アッベリフレクトメータを用いて、ナトリウムのスペクトルのD線(589.6nm(D1),589.0nm(D2))における屈折率を測定した。屈折率の測定範囲は1.3~1.71である。
屈折率は、塗膜(インデックスマッチング層)上に形成されるITO層との屈折率差を小さくしてITO層のパターンを不可視化するという観点から、1.60~1.71が好ましく、1.65~1.71がより好ましい。
・塗膜外観(色調)
上記のとおり製造した積層体の外観を目視にて確認し、積層体の色調が無色透明である場合を色調に優れるとして「A」、色調が白色である場合を場合色調に劣りこれを「B」とした。

・塗膜外観(ブツ/ハジキ)
積層体にブツ(凝集粒子)及びハジキがなく優れる場合を「A」、ブツ及び/又はハジキがあり劣る場合を「B」とした。

・組成物の安定性
上記のとおり製造した屈折率調整用コート材組成物を-20℃、20℃、50℃の条件下に1~2週間置いた後の組成物の状態を目視で評価した。
いずれの条件下でも粒子が沈降せずに分散した状態を保っていた場合を安定性に特に優れるとして「A」、いずれかの条件下で粒子が沈降したが容器を振ると元の分散状態に戻った場合を安定性に優れるとして「B」、いずれかの条件下でゲル化の進行および粒子の沈降が生じて容器を振っても元に戻らなかった場合を安定性が悪いとして「C」と評価した。
上記のとおり製造した屈折率調整用コート材組成物を-20℃、20℃、50℃の条件下に1~2週間置いた後の組成物の状態を目視で評価した。
いずれの条件下でも粒子が沈降せずに分散した状態を保っていた場合を安定性に特に優れるとして「A」、いずれかの条件下で粒子が沈降したが容器を振ると元の分散状態に戻った場合を安定性に優れるとして「B」、いずれかの条件下でゲル化の進行および粒子の沈降が生じて容器を振っても元に戻らなかった場合を安定性が悪いとして「C」と評価した。
第1表に示す各成分の詳細は以下のとおりである。
(A)成分
・ウレタンアクリレート1:ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)とジペンタエリスリトールペンタアクリレート(DPPA)とを反応させて得られるウレタンアクリレート(DPPA中の全活性水素基濃度に対するHDI中のイソシアネート基濃度の当量比=0.95、重量平均分子量:1,373、1分子中の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基の数:8~10個)
・ウレタンアクリレート2:ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)とジペンタエリスリトールペンタアクリレート(DPPA)とを反応させて得られるウレタンアクリレート(DPPA中の全活性水素基濃度に対するHDI中のイソシアネート基濃度の当量比=0.6、重量平均分子量:944、1分子中の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基の数:8~10個)
・芳香族含有アクリレート:フルオレン含有アクリレート(商品名:オグゾールEA-HC936、大阪ガスケミカル社製、重量平均分子量:689、1分子中の(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基の数:4個)
(A)成分

第1表に示す結果から明らかなように、(C)成分を含まない比較例1~4は、ヘイズが高く、塗膜外観に劣った。乾式のナノチタン酸バリウムの平均1次粒子径が200nmを超える比較例5、6は、ヘイズが高く、塗膜外観に劣った。(B)成分を含まず代わりに酸化チタンを含有する比較例7は、ヘイズが高く、塗膜外観に劣り、屈折率は1.3~1.71の間に観測されず、測定不可であったため、1.71以上の屈折率を有しているものと推測される。(B)成分を含まず代わりに酸化ジルコニウムを含有する比較例8は、ヘイズが高かった。(B)成分を含有しない比較例9は、屈折率が低かった。乾式ナノチタン酸バリウムの代わりに湿式ナノチタン酸バリウムを含有する比較例10は、ヘイズが高く、塗膜外観(色調)に劣っていた。
これに対して、実施例1~11は、屈折率が高く、ヘイズが低く塗膜外観に優れる。屈折率調整用コート材組成物が更に界面活性剤(F)を含有する場合、組成物の安定性に優れる。

Claims (11)
- 1分子中に(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を2個以上有する多官能(メタ)アクリル化合物(A)、平均1次粒子径が200nm以下であり乾式のナノチタン酸バリウム(B)、(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基を有するシランカップリング剤(C)、光重合開始剤(D)及び有機溶剤(E)を含有する、屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
- 前記(A)成分が、1分子中に、芳香族炭化水素基及び/又は1個以上のウレタン結合をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
- さらに界面活性剤(F)を含有し、前記界面活性剤が、1分子中にアミノ基を有する界面活性剤を少なくとも含む、請求項1又は2に記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
- 前記(C)成分が、下記式(1)で表される化合物である、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。

(式中、R1はそれぞれ独立に(メタ)アクリロイルオキシ基であり、R2はそれぞれ独立に無置換の又は置換された、炭素数1~20のアルキル基であり、1≦a<4であり、R3は炭化水素基であり、nは0又は1である。) - 前記(A)成分100質量部に対して、前記(B)成分の量が40~200質量部、前記(C)成分の量が1~30質量部、前記(D)成分の量が1~10質量部である、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
- 前記(A)成分が、前記芳香族炭化水素基を有し、前記芳香族炭化水素基がフルオレンである請求項2~5のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
- 前記(A)成分が、前記1個以上のウレタン結合を有する請求項2~5のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
- 更にレベリング剤(G)を含有する請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物。
- 基材と、前記基材の上の、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の屈折率調整用コート材組成物から得られるインデックスマッチング層とを有する積層体。
- 更に、前記インデックスマッチング層の上のITO部を有する請求項9に記載の積層体。
- 前記基材と前記インデックスマッチング層との間に更にハードコート層を有する請求項9又は10に記載の積層体。
