- the present invention relates to a motor connection which is used in outdoor units of air conditioners.
- Air conditioners are devices which cool, dehumidify and optionally heat the air of indoor environments and filter dust and particles to enable people to live more comfortably and productively. They are used in many areas such as houses, vehicles, offices, educational institutions.
- Fan motors are used in the outdoor units of air conditioners. These fan motors are mounted to the outdoor unit via three or four screws. Prior to screwing, the motor and the fan motor frame are connected by an operator via screws at a separate area, and then mounted to the lower frame located in the outdoor unit. At this point, the operator placing the frame on the panel, screwing process, then arranging the grouped motor-frame assembly to the lower frame cause unproductiveness and cost. In addition to these, since screw connection geometries of currently used AC and DC motors are variable, different screw types and screwing at different torque rates are required for each motor type. Furthermore, problems arise such as use of a separate operator and apparatus fixing panel during screwing and the fact that the said panel is not ergonomic (carrying and bending) in the production area.

US6199393 discloses an air distribution unit which enables the fan motor to be seated on the embossed tabs provided on its frame by being rotated and includes a housing defining an air inlet and an air flow extending from the air inlet to outlet. This unit comprises an air flow path and an evaporator coil for effecting air flow.
- the International patent document no WO2007074952 discloses an air conditioner indoor unit which draws air from outside and which enables the fan motor to be seated on the tabs on the seating surface by being rotated.
- the fan motor is seated and fixed onto the embossed tabs on the seat frame by being rotated.
- the objective of the present invention is to provide a motor connection which enables to eliminate the unproductiveness of the fan motor during mounting and use of screws.

- the clip (8) prevents the motor (3) from rotating around its own axis after the motor connection members (4) provided on the motor (3) are fitted into the cavities (6), and thus the motor connection members (4) are prevented from getting dislocated from the cavities (6).
