Abstract

La présente invention concerne une unité de logement modulaire compacte (1) permettant d'accueillir un utilisateur (8). L'unité de logement modulaire (1) comprend une structure en forme de boîte (2) qui renferme une chambre interne (20) et un lit ou similaire (3), qui est positionné dans la chambre interne (20). La structure en forme de boîte (2) comprend une ouverture d'accès (26) à la chambre interne (20). Le lit (3) est monté sur des guides (4) et est conçu pour réaliser un mouvement de translation par rapport à la structure en forme de boîte (2) le long desdits guides (4); le lit (3) est mobile entre une première position dans laquelle le lit (3) est complètement à l'intérieur de la chambre interne (20) et une seconde position dans laquelle le lit (3) fait saillie au moins partiellement depuis la chambre interne (20) à travers ladite ouverture d'accès (26). L'unité de logement modulaire (1) est conçue pour permettre à un utilisateur (8) d'être allongé dans le lit (3) lorsque le lit (3) est dans la première position à l'intérieur de la chambre interne (20). La mobilité du lit (3) entre la première position et la seconde position et vice-versa permet à l'utilisateur (8) de sortir de la chambre interne (20) et d'entrer dans celle-ci tout en restant allongé dans le lit (3). En particulier, le mouvement de translation du lit (3) s'effectue le long d'un axe de translation qui est parallèle à un axe longitudinal (300) du lit correspondant à une direction tête/pieds de l'utilisateur (8). Selon un mode de réalisation, l'unité de logement modulaire (1) est en outre conçue pour flotter sur l'eau (97): au moins une région inférieure (207) de la structure en forme de boîte (2) est étanche à l'eau et l'unité de logement modulaire (1) dans la condition de flottaison constitue une cellule de survie pour l'utilisateur (8) entouré d'eau en situation de danger.
