A diffusing lens (30) having a receiving portion (32) for a linear light conduction element (10), an emission portion (34) running parallel to the receiving portion (32) for emitting light from the diffusing lens (30), and a connection portion (36) connecting the receiving portion (32) to the emission portion (34), wherein the receiving portion (32), the connection portion (36) and the emission portion (34) are made of a translucent plastic.
