Abstract

La présente invention concerne un débitmètre (1) ultrasonore ayant un revêtement (6) continu à l'intérieur du tube d'écoulement. Le tube d'écoulement (2) possède au moins une ouverture (5) traversante dans la paroi. Le revêtement (6) continu est fourni dans une matière étanche à l'eau et agencé dans le tube d'écoulement pour recouvrir toute la surface interne du tube d'écoulement. Les transducteurs (11, 12) piézoélectriques sont agencés à l'extérieur du revêtement (6) dans la ou les ouvertures (5) traversantes dans la paroi du tube d'écoulement (2), de telle sorte que des signaux ultrasonores sont émis à travers la paroi de revêtement pour entrer dans le tube d'écoulement (2). Le revêtement (6) est fourni en un polymère sélectionné parmi le groupe constitué par les polysulphones, les polysulphures et les polyaryléthercétones. L'invention concerne ainsi un débitmètre (1) qui élimine un quelconque besoin de surfaces d'étanchéité concernant les transducteurs ultrasonores et qui peut supporter une utilisation prolongée dans un liquide chaud.
