Abstract

The invention relates to a stable beverage or liquid food product comprising a stabilisers blend, oil, Arabic gum, water and hydrolysed vegetable protein. In particular, the beverage of the present invention is a non-dairy milk beverage. The invention further relates to a process for making a stable beverage or liquid food product according to the present invention. Further, the invention relates to the use of a stabilising composition comprising stabilisers and further an oil-in-water emulsion stabilized by Arabic gum for stabilizing hydrolysed vegetable protein in beverages or liquid food products, in particular in non-dairy milk beverages.
