図1は、表示システム10の構成例を示している。この表示システム10において、送信側には放送局110、ストリーミングサーバ120およびウェブ(Web)サーバ130が配置され、受信側には受信機200が配置されている。
なお、上述実施の形態においては、受信機200のIP受信部201がURL(参照情報)に基づいてウェブサーバ130から取得するMMT-CIは非圧縮のHTMLファイルである。しかし、受信機200のIP受信部201が、URL(参照情報)に基づいて、ウェブサーバ130から圧縮されたHTMLファイルを取得するように構成して、受信データ量を低減することも可能である。図8(b)は、その場合における、URL(参照情報)の一例を示している。
