Abstract

一种像素结构、显示面板及液晶显示器。显示面板的像素结构包括以行依次排列的第一子像素(311)、第二子像素(312)和第三子像素(313),并且第一子像素(311)、第二子像素(312)和第三子像素(313)均被分为第一区和第二区,第一子像素(311)和第三子像素(313)的第一区均位于第二区的上方,第二子像素(312)的第一区位于第二区的下方。这样,通过重新排布显示面板的像素中的子像素,使得任意两个相邻子像素的第一区不相邻,避免两个第一区形成2连点,进而避免形成亮点,同时所述显示面板在低灰阶显示时,由于各个子像素的第一区呈"品"字形排布,使得各个第一区的空间混色效果较好,进而改善RGB三色的混色效果。

Description

说 明 书 像素结构、 显示面板及液晶显示器 技术领域
本发明涉及液晶显示领域; 更具体地讲, 涉及一种像素结构、 显示面板及 液晶显示器。
背景技术
随着信息社会的发展, 人们对显示器的需求得到了快速的增长。 为了满足 这种需求, 出现了几种平板显示器, 例如: 液晶显示器 (LCD: Liquid Crystal Display), 等离子体显示器 (PDP: Plasma Display Panel ) 以及 OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode, 有机发光二极管) 显示器, 都得到了迅猛的发展。 在平 板显示器中, 液晶显示器由于其重量低、 体积小、 能耗低的优点, 正在得到越 来越广泛的使用。
在液晶显示器中, 最初出现的扭曲向列型 (TN: Twisted Nematic ) , 超扭 曲向列型(STN: Super Twisted Nematic)等液晶显示模式存在对比度低、 视角 差等问题。 随着人们生活水平的提高, 对液晶显示器的要求也越来越高, 因此 以面内开关显示模式(IPS: In Plan Switch )、 垂直配向显示模式(VA: Vertical Alignment) 等广视角显示技术得到了飞跃的发展。 对于面内开关显示模式而言, 其具有非常好的广视角显示效果, 但是为了 实现较好的面内开关显示模式的显示效果, 在其生产过程中, 对于摩擦工序的 要求也就非常地高, 这在很大程度上造成其摩擦的工艺冗余度较小。在大规模 生产过程中, 极易出现相关的问题。
对于垂直配向显示模式而言, 如图 la、 lb所示, 液晶显示器主要由上、 下两基板 11、 12, 以及类似于夹心饼干一样嵌入在两个基板之间的负性液晶 14组成。 在上、 下两基板的内侧均有透明导电层 13 (ITO: 氧化铟锡), 从而 可以形成垂直电场。 在两层透明导电层之间嵌入的负性液晶, 是一种液晶分子 长轴的介电常数小于垂直于液晶分子长轴的方向上的介电常数的液晶。在没有 垂直电场作用在负性液晶 14上时, 液晶分子长轴垂直于基板表面, 当有垂直 电场作用在负性液晶 14上时, 由于液晶分子长轴的介电常数较小, 所以液晶 分子在电场作用下会发生特定方向的偏转, 最终液晶分子长轴垂直于电场方向 排列。 同面内开关显示模式相比, 垂直配向显示模式在生产过程中不需要配向
(rubbing) 工艺, 所以大大提高了其在大规模生产上的优势。
但是相对于 IPS模式,垂直配向显示模式在大视角的情况下,其色差 (Color shift) 会变的严重。 针对这个问题, 行业内提出了各种解决方法, 例如: 耦合 电容法 (也被称为 CC方法)、 双 TFT驱动法 (也被称为 TT法)、 电荷分享法 ( Charge Sharing) 等。 每种方法都有各自的优缺点, 但是他们有一个共同点: 都是将原来的一个子像素(Sub-Pixel)分为两个部分, 其中, 一部分称为 Main 区, 另一部分称为 Sub区, 通常 Main区小于 Sub区。 这种设计一般都统称为 8畴 (8 Domain) 设计。 显示面板上的亮点也被称为显示面板亮斑, 是显示面板的一种物理损伤, 主要是由于亮斑部位的显示面板内部反光板受到外力压迫或者受热产生轻微 变形所致。 随着消费者要求的提高, 一般都要求大于 1/2个子像素的亮点是不 能有的,但是实际生产过程中,这种亮点是无法避免的,虽然可以修复成暗点, 但也会消耗较多产能。
基于 8 Domain的像素设计导致的亮点也有自身的一些特点: 一种情况是 全部子像素都亮; 一种情况是子像素的 Main区亮; 一种情况是子像素的 Sub 区亮;
当只是子像素的 Main区亮时, 由于其小于 1/2个子像素, 只是一个碎亮 点, 不影响显示, 可以看作不是亮点。 如图 2所示, 当两个相邻的子像素的 Main区都亮时, 虽然单看每一个子像素的 Main区都不是亮点, 但是由于两个 Main区连在一起, 就形成了水平方向上大于 1/2子像素的亮点, 这种情况被称 为 2连点。 发明内容 为了解决上述现有技术存在的问题, 本发明的目的在于提供一种像素结 构, 包括以行依次排列的第一子像素、 第二子像素和第三子像素, 并且所述第 一子像素、 第二子像素和第三子像素均被分为第一区和第二区, 其中, 所述第 一子像素和第三子像素的第一区均位于第二区的上方,所述第二子像素的第一 区位于第二区的下方。 进一歩地, 所述第一区在子像素中所占面积小于所述第二区。 本发明的另一目的还在于提供一种显示面板, 包括阵列排布的多个第一像 素和多个第二像素, 所述第一像素和第二像素均包括以行依次排列的第一子像 素、 第二子像素和第三子像素, 并且所述第一子像素、 第二子像素和第三子像 素均被分为第一区和第二区; 在所述第一像素中, 第一子像素和第三子像素的 第一区均位于第二区的上方, 第二子像素的第一区位于第二区的下方; 在所述 第二像素中, 第一子像素和第三子像素的第一区均位于第二区的下方, 第二子 像素的第一区位于第二区的上方。 进一歩地, 在每一行像素中, 所述第一像素和第二像素交替排列, 在每一 列像素中, 像素均为所述第一像素或所述第二像素。 进一歩地, 所述第一区在子像素中所占面积小于所述第二区。 进一歩地, 所述显示面板是通过液晶驱动模组来驱动各个子像素, 并且通 过背光模组提供的显示光源来显示影像。 本发明的另一目的还在于提供一种液晶显示器, 包括液晶驱动模组、 背光 模组和显示面板, 所述液晶驱动模组驱动控制所述显示面板, 所述背光模组提 供显示光源给所述显示面板, 所述显示面板包括阵列排布的多个第一像素和多 个第二像素, 所述第一像素和第二像素均包括以行依次排列的第一子像素、第 二子像素和第三子像素, 并且所述第一子像素、 第二子像素和第三子像素均被 分为第一区和第二区; 在所述第一像素中, 第一子像素和第三子像素的第一区 均位于第二区的上方, 第二子像素的第一区位于第二区的下方; 在所述第二像 素中, 第一子像素和第三子像素的第一区均位于第二区的下方, 第二子像素的 第一区位于第二区的上方。 进一歩地, 在每一行像素中, 所述第一像素和第二像素交替排列, 在每一 列像素中, 像素均为所述第一像素或所述第二像素。 进一歩地, 所述第一区在子像素中所占面积小于所述第二区。 进一歩地, 所述液晶驱动模组包括: 栅极驱动器, 通过多条往行方向延伸 的扫描线连接各个子像素, 依次向各条扫描线输出扫描信号, 数据驱动器, 通 过多条往列方向延伸的数据线连接各个子像素, 为各个子像素提供数据信号, 以及时序控制器, 连接并控制所述栅极驱动器和所述数据驱动器。
本发明的像素结构、 显示面板及液晶显示器, 通过重新排布显示面板的像素中 的子像素, 使得任意两个相邻子像素的第一区不相邻, 避免两个第一区形成 2 连点, 进而避免形成亮点, 同时在低灰阶显示时, 由于各个子像素的第一区呈 "品"字形排布, 使得各个第一区的空间混色效果较好, 进而改善 RGB三色 的混色效果。

具体实施方式 现在对本发明的实施例进行详细的描述, 其示例表示在附图中, 其中,相 同的标号始终表示相同部件。下面通过参照附图对实施例进行描述以解释本发 明。 在附图中, 为了清晰起见, 可以夸大层和区域的厚度。 在下面的描述中, 为了避免公知结构和 /或功能的不必要的详细描述所导致的本发明构思的混淆, 可省略公知结构和 /或功能的不必要的详细描述。 图 3示出根据本发明的实施例的显示面板的像素排列示意图。 图 4示出根 据本发明的实施例的第一像素的子像素的排列示意图。 图 5示出根据本发明的 实施例的第二像素的子像素的排列示意图。 其中, 图 3中仅示出显示面板的部 分像素的排列, 应当理解, 本发明并不以此为限。 参照图 3, 根据本发明的实施例的显示面板包括阵列排布的多个第一像素 31和多个第二像素 32, 第一像素 31和第二像素 32为设计规格有区别的两种 像素, 下面将详细介绍。 具体而言, 以第一像素 31为例, 参照图 4, 第一像素 31包括以行排列的 第一子像素 311、 第二子像素 312和第三子像素 313, 基于 8畴 (8 Domain) 设计, 第一子像素 311、 第二子像素 312和第三子像素 313均被分为第一区 A 和第二区8。 在本实施例中, 第一区 A为 Main区, 第二区 B为 Sub区, 并且 第一区 A和第二区 B的大小不等, 优选地, 第一区 A在子像素中所占的面积 小于第二区 B。 此外, 在本实施例中, 假设第一像素 31中的第一子像素 311的第一区 A 和第二子像素 312的第一区 A都亮, 为了使得这两个相邻子像素的第一区 A 不相邻, 以避免形成 2连点, 将第一子像素 311的第一区 A位于第二区 B的 上方, 第二子像素 312的第一区 A位于第二区 B的下方。 同理, 为了避免第 二子像素 312的第一区 A与相邻的第三子像素 313的第一区 A形成 2连点, 使得第三子像素 313的第一区 A位于第二区 B的上方, 也就是说, 在第一像 素 31中, 三个子像素的第一区 A呈现 "品"字形倒转图形。 而且, 在第一像素 31中, 第一子像素 311、第二子像素 312和第三子像素 313为三基色 (RGB) 子像素中的任一种。 当三者的颜色各不相同, 例如, 第 一子像素 311可为红色 (Red) 子像素, 第二子像素 312可为绿色 (Green)子 像素, 第三子像素 313可为蓝色 (Blue) 子像素。 对第二像素 32而言, 参照图 5, 第二像素 32亦包括以行排列的第一子像 素 321、 第二子像素 322和第三子像素 323, 基于 8畴 (8 Domain) 设计, 第 一子像素 321、第二子像素 322和第三子像素 323亦均被分为第一区 A和第二 区8。 在本实施例中, 第一区 A为 Main区, 第二区 B为 Sub区, 并且第一区 A和第二区 B的大小不等, 优选地, 第一区 A在子像素中所占的面积小于第 二区 B, 但本发明并不限于此, 第一区 A可大于第二区 B。 此外,假设第二像素 32中的第一子像素 321的第一区 A和第二子像素 322 的第一区 A都亮, 为了使得第二像素 32中的这两个相邻子像素的第一区 A不 相邻, 以避免形成 2连点, 在第二像素 32中, 第一子像素 321的第一区 A位 于第二区 B的下方, 第二子像素 322的第一区 A位于第二区 B的上方。 同理, 为了避免第二子像素 322的第一区 A与相邻的第三子像素 323的第一区 A形 成 2连点, 使得第三子像素 323的第一区 A位于第二区 B的下方, 也就是说, 在第二像素 32中, 三个子像素的第一区 A呈现 "品"字形图形。 而且, 在第二像素 32中, 第一子像素 321、第二子像素 322和第三子像素 323为三基色 (RGB ) 子像素中的任一种, 但三者的颜色各不相同, 例如, 第 一子像素 321可为红色 (Red) 子像素, 第二子像素 322可为绿色 (Green)子 像素, 第三子像素 323可为蓝色 (Blue) 子像素。 另外, 请一并参照图 3、 图 4和图 5, 在阵列排布的多个第一像素 31和多 个第二像素 32中, 为了避免在两个相邻像素中, 相邻的两个子像素的第一区 A形成 2连点, 在本实施例中, 在每一行像素中, 第一像素 31和第二像素 32 交替排列, 在每一列像素中, 均为同一设计规格的像素, 即都为第一像素 31 或第二像素 32。 同时, 对于整个显示面板, 在低灰阶显示时, 各个子像素的第 一区呈 "品"字形排布, 使得各个第一区的空间混色效果较好, 进而改善 RGB 三色的混色效果。 图 6示出根据本发明的实施例的液晶显示器的示意图。 参照图 6,根据本发明实施例的液晶显示器包括背光模组 40、显示面板 30 和液晶驱动模组 50。 其中, 显示面板 30包含上述的像素排列结构, 液晶驱动 模组 50驱动显示面板 30上的各个子像素, 背光模组 40提供显示光源给显示 面板 30, 进而使得显示面板 30显示影像。 液晶驱动模组 50包括栅极驱动器 (Gate Driver) 51和数据驱动器 (或称 源极驱动器, Source Driver) 52、 时序控制器 53。 数据驱动器 52可通过多个 往列 (Row) 方向延伸的数据线连接各个子像素, 为各个子像素提供数据信号 (即像素电压); 栅极驱动器 51可通过多个往行(Column)方向延伸的扫描线 连接各个子像素, 依次向各条扫描线提供扫描信号, 并且扫描线和数据线交错 设置。 时序控制器 53控制整个液晶显示器动作时序的中心, 配合每个帧显示 的时机, 设定栅极驱动器 52启动, 并将由界面所输入的视频信号转换成数据 驱动器 52所用的数据信号形式, 传送到数据驱动器 52中, 并配合栅极驱动器 51对每一行子像素的扫描, 控制数据驱动器 52通过数据线向该行子像素提供 数据信号。 在本实施例中, 背光模组 40可是直下式背光模组, 也可是侧入式背光模 组
图 7示出根据本发明的实施例的栅极驱动器和数据驱动器驱动子像素的示 意图。 其中, 图 7中只示出显示面板中一行子像素的部分子像素的驱动。 应当 理解, 显示面板中的其它子像素的驱动与图 7所示的驱动相同。 参照图 7, 假设各个子像素的第一区 A和第二区 B均未形成亮点, 当栅极 驱动器向主扫描线 MG提供扫描信号时,连接在主扫描线 MG上的各个第一薄 膜场效应晶体管(TFT) 71的栅极被打开, 此刻, 各个第一薄膜场效应晶体管 ( TFT) 71的连接到数据线 D上的源极接收来自数据驱动器提供的数据信号 (即像素电压), 而后向各个子像素的第一区 A和第二区 B提供数据信号, 即 对各个子像素进行充电, 但是各个子像素的第一区 A和第二区 B接收的充电 电压并不相同; 当栅极驱动器关闭主扫描线 MG, 并向从扫描线 SG提供扫描 信号时, 连接在从扫描线 SG上的各个第二薄膜场效应晶体管 (TFT) 72的栅 极被打开, 此刻, 各个第二薄膜场效应晶体管 (TFT) 72中连接的共享电容 C 将各个子像素的第一区 A和第二区 B的充电电压进行均衡, 使第一区 A和第 二区 B的充电电压相等, 进而完成对各个子像素的充电。 综上所述, 通过重新排布显示面板的子像素, 使得任意两个相邻子像素的 第一区不相邻, 避免两个第一区形成 2连点, 进而避免形成亮点, 同时在低灰 阶显示时, 由于各个子像素的第一区呈 "品"字形排布, 使得各个第一区的空 间混色效果较好, 进而改善 RGB三色的混色效果。 尽管已经参照其示例性实施例具体显示和描述了本发明, 但是本领域的技 术人员应该理解, 在不脱离权利要求所限定的本发明的精神和范围的情况下, 可以对其进行形式和细节上的各种改变。

1、 一种像素结构, 包括以行依次排列的第一子像素、 第二子像素和第三 子像素, 并且所述第一子像素、 第二子像素和第三子像素均被分为第一区和第 二区, 其中, 所述第一子像素和第三子像素的第一区均位于第二区的上方,所 述第二子像素的第一区位于第二区的下方。
2、 根据权利要求 1所述的像素结构, 其中, 所述第一区在子像素中所占 面积小于所述第二区。
3、 一种显示面板, 其中, 包括阵列排布的多个第一像素和多个第二像素, 所述第一像素和第二像素均包括以行依次排列的第一子像素、第二子像素 和第三子像素, 并且所述第一子像素、 第二子像素和第三子像素均被分为第一 区和第二区; 在所述第一像素中,第一子像素和第三子像素的第一区均位于第二区的上 方, 第二子像素的第一区位于第二区的下方; 在所述第二像素中,第一子像素和第三子像素的第一区均位于第二区的下 方, 第二子像素的第一区位于第二区的上方。
4、 根据权利要求 3所述的显示面板, 其中, 在每一行像素中, 所述第一 像素和第二像素交替排列, 在每一列像素中, 像素均为所述第一像素或所述第 二像素。
5、 根据权利要求 3所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述第一区在子像素中所占 面积小于所述第二区。
6、 根据权利要求 4所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述第一区在子像素中所占 面积小于所述第二区。
7、 根据权利要求 3所述的显示面板, 其中, 所述显示面板是通过液晶驱 动模组来驱动各个子像素, 并且通过背光模组提供的显示光源来显示影像。
8、 一种液晶显示器, 包括液晶驱动模组、 背光模组和显示面板, 所述液 晶驱动模组驱动控制所述显示面板,所述背光模组提供显示光源给所述显示面 板, 其中, 所述显示面板包括阵列排布的多个第一像素和多个第二像素, 所述第一像素和第二像素均包括以行依次排列的第一子像素、第二子像素 和第三子像素, 并且所述第一子像素、 第二子像素和第三子像素均被分为第一 区和第二区; 在所述第一像素中,第一子像素和第三子像素的第一区均位于第二区的上 方, 第二子像素的第一区位于第二区的下方; 在所述第二像素中,第一子像素和第三子像素的第一区均位于第二区的下 方, 第二子像素的第一区位于第二区的上方。
