Abstract

Electrochemical electric power generators comprising: a metal anode, a neutral or weakly alkaline saline electrolyte that is a good conductor, containing hygroscopic ions and ions capable of preventing the slowing of reactions at the electrodes; a cathode, that is or is not porous to air, and that is highly electropositive with regard to the anode in the galvanic series relative to the electrolyte used; light generators, with a very low, or indeed negligible, consumption of metal or other specific fuels, that can be considered "water/air" generators, which, while avoiding recharging using "primary" sources of electricity, which are indispensable for standard accumulators, are very easy to regenerate, and make it possible to supply electricity in a stable, easy, environmentally friendly and economical fashion, continuously for long periods of time.
