As in this area there are two bases 13 and two workpiece-holding slides 17, the length of the segment where the loading conveyor 31 and the unloading conveyor 33 overlap each other is greater than in the embodiment of figures 2 to 6, as it is particularly visible by comparing figures 5 and 9.

Abstract

Centre d'usinage comprenant au moins une tête d'actionnement (5) pouvant se déplacer en fonction d'une pluralité d'axes à commande numérique (A, C, X, Z) et au moins un coulisseau (17) de maintien de pièce pouvant se déplacer entre une zone de travail et une zone où les pièces à usiner (P1) sont chargées sur le coulisseau de maintien de pièce et les pièces usinées (P2) sont déchargées du coulisseau de maintien de pièce, et vice-versa. De plus, un système d'introduction est prévu pour introduire les pièces à usiner sur le coulisseau (17) de maintien de pièce, le système d'introduction étant associé à un transporteur de chargement (31) s'étendant depuis une zone (41) recevant la pièce à usiner (P1) vers la zone (29) de chargement des pièces à usiner sur le coulisseau (17) de maintien de pièce et de déchargement des pièces usinées (P2) du coulisseau de maintien de pièce, les pièces à usiner étant transférées depuis le transporteur de chargement vers le coulisseau de maintien de pièce. A une hauteur différente de la hauteur du système d'introduction des pièces à usiner (P1) est agencé un système de retrait destiné à retirer les pièces usinées (P2) du coulisseau (17) de maintien de pièce, ce système de retrait étant associé à un transporteur de déchargement (33) s'étendant de la zone (29) où les pièces à usiner sont chargées sur le coulisseau (17) de maintien de pièce et les pièces usinées sont déchargées du coulisseau (17) de maintien de pièce vers une zone de rassemblement (43) des pièces usinées (P2), les pièces usinées étant transférées depuis le coulisseau de maintien de pièce vers le transporteur de déchargement dans ladite zone où les pièces à usiner sont chargées sur le coulisseau de maintien de pièce et les pièces usinées sont déchargées du coulisseau de maintien de pièce.
