Abstract

The invention relates to a method for controlling a mechanical output transmitted between an internal combustion engine and a transmission by a friction clutch device in a motor vehicle power train. A resulting hysteresis influence is compensated for by using a hysteresis model, said hysteresis model imaging an actuator path and a corresponding engagement path. An engagement path change which is decoupled from the actuator path can also be imaged together with an engagement path change which is coupled to the actuator path.
