Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de commande de comptage pour un compteur, et une puce de réseau, le procédé comprenant les étapes consistant à : générer périodiquement un paquet de balayage de comptage ; à lire la valeur de comptage d'une entrée de compteur correspondante selon le paquet de balayage de comptage généré ; à analyser et à déterminer si la valeur de comptage lue est ou non inférieure à un seuil de dépassement préréglé ; et si la valeur de comptage lue est supérieure ou égale au seuil de dépassement préréglé, à notifier à un processeur de traiter l'anomalie de comptage du compteur. Le système utilise un générateur de paquet et un moteur de traitement de paquet pour diagnostiquer l'état de comptage périodique d'un compteur dans une puce de réseau, évitant qu'un processeur n'échantillonne fréquemment le compteur pour déterminer l'état de compteur, et assurant ainsi l'efficacité de fonctionnement du processeur.
