- apps Many useful application software (hereinafter abbreviated as “apps”) have also been provided, and it is common to store various apps in the built-in storage of a portable information terminal, and to use the app properly depending on the situation. It is the target.
- a desired application When executing an application on the portable information terminal, a desired application may be selected from a hierarchical menu and activated. Alternatively, if an icon associated with each application (or data created by each application) is arranged in advance on the display screen and a desired application is started by selecting the icon, the usability is further improved. . In particular, since a smart phone, a tablet terminal, and the like have a larger display area (a wider display screen) than a conventional mobile phone, a large number of icons can be arranged on the display screen.
- Patent Document 1 (Effect of the invention) Stores a usage history indicating the usage frequency of application software, and periodically obtains the order of frequently used application software based on this, This is a technique in which a display arrangement of icons corresponding to the application software corresponding to this order is obtained, and the icons are displayed according to the display arrangement in response to a request from the user.
- Patent Document 1 describes that the display arrangement of icons can be changed according to the frequency of use, and a portable information terminal with less operation stress can be provided by the technique.
- the frequency of use of each application is not always unique and varies depending on the place and time zone where the portable information terminal is used.
