Abstract

The device for introducing the liquid plastic into a multi-daylight mould (3) uses a snorkel (19) which passes through the fixed mould (9) and has telescopic connection to the central mould part (7) which contains the runners (29). No valves (13) are necessary to seal the feed lines on opening of the multi-daylight mould (3). On opening of the multi-daylight mould (3) after conclusion of the hold-pressure phase, it is moreover possible to generate a vacuum which prevents further discharge of liquid plastic from the runners (29).
