Abstract

La présente invention concerne un suiveur de came pour ensemble poussoir de soupape d'un moteur à combustion interne. Le suiveur de came (4) comprend un dispositif principal (8), un dispositif secondaire (10) et un organe de verrouillage (13) qui est attaché à l'un (10) desdits dispositifs et qui comporte une surface de contact (13c1) conçue pour être amenée en contact avec une surface de contact (8a1)) de l'autre (8) des dispositifs. L'organe de verrouillage (13) peut être utilisé dans une position de non verrouillage, dans laquelle les mouvements de commande du dispositif secondaire (10) ne sont pas transmissibles au dispositif principal (8) par l'intermédiaire desdites surfaces de contact (8a1, 13c1), ainsi que dans une position de verrouillage partiel et dans une position de verrouillage complet, dans lesquelles les mouvements de commande du dispositif secondaire (10) sont transmissibles au dispositif principal (8) par l'intermédiaire desdites surfaces de contact (8a1, 13c1). Les surfaces de contact (8a1,13c1) sont à complémentarité de formes. Elles sont en contact mutuel partiel dans la position de verrouillage partiel et sont en contact mutuel complet dans la position de verrouillage complet. Elles présentent une inclinaison l'une par rapport à l'autre dans la position de verrouillage partiel de manière que, lorsqu'un mouvement de commande du dispositif secondaire (10) est appliqué auxdites surfaces de contact (8a1, 13c1) en position de verrouillage partiel, la surface de contact (13c1) de l'organe de verrouillage sera ajustée par rapport à l'autre surface de contact (8a1) jusqu'à ce que les surfaces de contact (8a1, 13c1) soient en contact mutuel complet et que l'organe de verrouillage (13) se trouve en position de verrouillage complet.
