본 개시의 다양한 실시예들은 일반적으로 링크 설정과 관련되며, 보다 상세하게는 무선랜 시스템에서 신속한 최초 링크 설정을 위한 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다.
최근 모바일 단말의 보급이 확대됨에 따라 이들에게 빠른 무선 인터넷 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 무선랜(Wireless LAN) 기술이 많은 각광을 받고 있다. 무선랜 기술은 근거리에서 무선 통신 기술을 바탕으로 스마트 폰, 스마트 패드, 랩탑 컴퓨터, 휴대형 멀티미디어 플레이어, 임베디드 기기 등과 같은 모바일 단말들을 가정이나 기업 또는 특정 서비스 제공지역에서 무선으로 인터넷에 접속할 수 있도록 하는 기술이다.
본 발명의 목적은 다중 대역에서의 동작을 지원하는 무선랜 기기들간의 링크 설정을 위한 방법을 제공하는 것이다.
본 발명의 다른 목적은 다중 대역에서의 동작을 지원하는 무선랜 기기들간의 링크 설정을 위한 장치를 제공하는 것이다.
상기 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 이동 단말기에서 수행되는 무선 링크 설정 방법은, 복수의 통신 채널을 지원하는 무선접속장치로부터 상기 복수의 통신 채널 중 제1 통신 채널을 통해 비콘 메시지를 수신하는 단계, 상기 비콘 메시지로부터 상기 제1 통신 채널로의 접속을 위해 사용되는 무선 접속정보를 획득하는 단계, 및 상기 비콘 메시지로부터 상기 복수의 통신 채널 중 상기 제1 통신 채널을 제외한 적어도 하나의 가용 통신 채널 목록을 획득하는 단계를 포함한다.

여기서, 상기 제어부는, 상기 제1 통신 채널을 통해 이동단말기로부터 인증 요청을 수신한 경우, 상기 이동단말기와의 인증 과정을 수행할 수 있다.

본 발명에 실시예에 따르면 다중 대역에서의 동작을 지원하는 무선랜 기기들간의 링크 설정을 위한 시간을 절감하는 것이 가능하다. 특히 본 발명의 실시예에 의하면 하나 이상의 통신 채널을 사용하는 무선접속장치와 링크를 설정할 때 상기 통신 채널 정보를 신속하게 획득할 수 있어 이동단말기가 최초로 비콘을 수신한 채널과 이후에 접속을 시도하는 채널이 다른 경우에도 링크 설정 시간을 절감할 수 있다.

본 명세서에서 본 발명에 관련된 공지의 구성 또는 기능에 대한 구체적인 설명이 본 발명의 요지를 흐릴 수 있다고 판단되는 경우에 이에 관한 자세한 설명은 필요에 따라 생략한다.
이하에서는 본 발명의 실시예에 따라 다수의 통신 채널을 사용하는 무선랜 기기들간의 신속 접속 방법에 대한 방법 및 장치에 관하여 설명한다.
무선랜 기술의 표준들 중 MAC(Medium Access Control) 및 PHY(Physical) 계층의 표준화는 IEEE(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) 802.11 워킹그룹을 통해 진행되고 있다.
도 1은 본 발명의 실시예가 적용될 수 있는 무선랜 시스템의 일례에 대한 구성을 간략히 도시한 것이다.
도 1을 참조하면, 무선랜 시스템은 하나 또는 그 이상의 BSS(Basic Service Set)(211, 221)을 포함한다. BSS(211, 221)는 서로 통신이 가능한 기기들 간의 집합으로써, 주로 하나의 AP(Access Point, 무선접속장치)(210, 220)에 의해 관리된다. MS(Mobile Station, 이동 단말기)(110, 120)은 IEEE 802.11 무선랜 표준 규격에 따라 AP(210, 220)에 접속하여 사용자에게 무선인터넷 서비스를 제공하는 역할을 담당한다.
BSS(211, 221)는 Infrastructure BSS와 Independent BSS로 구분할 수 있는데, 도 1에는 Infrastructure BSS가 도시되어 있다. BSS-1(211)은 AP-1(210)에 의해 관리 및 운영되며 하나 또는 그 이상의 MS들 (MS-1(110), MS-2(120))가 AP-1(210)을 통해 무선랜 서비스를 받으며, AP-1(210)은 DS(Distribution System)(300)을 통해 AP-2(220)와 연결되어 있다. 단일 DS(300)를 통해 연결되어 있는 BSS(211, 221)들이 모여 상위의 ESS(Extended Service Set)(410)을 이루게 된다. 이러한 무선랜의 시스템 구성에 관한 상세한 내용은 IEEE Std 802.11-2012 (29, Mar. 2012) 규격에 기술되어 있으므로, 여기서 이에 대한 설명은 생략한다. 상기 규격의 내용은 본 명세서에 참조에 의하여 결합된다.
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 관련된 MS가 AP와 링크를 설정하는 단계를 개략적으로 도시한 것이다.
도 2를 참조하면, 본 발명에 따른 MS(100)가 AP(200)에 접속하는 단계는 크게 Scanning, Authentication 및 Association의 3단계로 구분된다. Scanning 단계는 MS(100)가 AP(200)가 운영하는 BSS의 접속 정보를 획득하는 단계이다. Scanning을 수행하기 위한 방법으로는 AP가 주기적으로 전송하는 Beacon 메시지만을 활용하여 정보를 획득하는 Passive Scanning 기법(S101)과 MS가 AP에 Probe Request를 전송하여(S103) AP로부터 Probe Response를 획득하여(S105) 접속 정보를 획득하는 Active Scanning 기법이 있다.
상기 Scanning 단계에서 성공적으로 무선 접속 정보를 수신한 MS(100)는 Authentication Request를 송신(S107a) 및 Authentication Response를 수신(S107b)하여 인증 절차를 수행한다. 성공적인 IEEE802.11 계층에서의 인증 절차를 수행 후, Association 단계 (S109a, S109b)를 수행하고, 추가적으로 802.1X 기반의 인증(S111) 및 DHCP를 통한 IP 주소 획득(S113) 단계를 수행할 수 있다.
도 3은 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 관련된 MS의 Passive Scanning 단계를 도시한 것이다.
도 3을 참조하면, 본 발명에 따른 MS-1(110)은 주변에 위치한 AP-1(210)과 AP-2(220)에서 주기적으로 송신하는 비콘 메시지를 수신하여 각각 AP들의 무선 접속 정보를 획득한다.
도 4는 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 관련된 MS의 Active Scanning 단계를 도시한 것이다.
도 4를 참조하면, 본 발명에 따른 MS-1(110)은 주변에 위치한 AP의 정보를 획득하기 위해 Probe Request 메시지를 송신하고 이에 대응하는 Probe Response 메시지를 각각 AP-1(210)과 AP-2(220)로부터 수신하여 각각 AP들의 무선 접속 정보를 획득한다.
도 5는 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 관련된 MS(Mobile Station, 이동 단말기)(100)를 개략적으로 도시한 블록구성도이다.
도 5를 참조하면, 본 발명에 따른 MS(100)는 AP를 통해 무선랜 접속을 수행하는 하나 또는 그 이상의 NIC(Network Interface Card)들(111~119)을 구비한다. 상기 NIC(111~119)는 무선랜 접속을 수행하기 위한 모듈로서, MS에 내장 또는 외장될 수 있다. 상기 NIC(111~119)는 각각이 지원하는 무선랜 규격에 따라 AP와 무선 통신을 수행한다. 상기 NIC(111~119)는 MS(100)의 성능 및 시스템 요구사항에 따라 동시에 하나의 NIC만을 동작시키거나 동시에 다수의 NIC(111~119)를 동작시킬 수 있다. 상기 블록도의 MS(100)는 복수의 NIC(111~119)가 서로 분리되어 도시되어 있으며, 각각의 NIC의 MAC/PHY 계층이 서로 독립적으로 운영된다. 이러한 복수의 NIC(111~119)는 물리적으로 서로 구별되는 기능 개체로 구현되거나 또는 하나의 물리 개체로 통합하여 구현하는 것도 가능하다.
이동통신 모듈(120)은 상기 MS(100)가 이동통신망에서 외부기기와 무선신호를 송수신할 수 있게 한다.
사용자 입력(130)부는 MS(100)를 제어하기 위한 명령이 사용자에 의해 입력될 수 있게 한다.
디스플레이(140)부는 상기 MS(100)의 동작에 따른 결과 및 상태를 표시하며, AP로부터 제공받은 정보를 표시할 수 있다.
메모리(150)부는 AP로의 접속을 제어하는 접속 프로그램 및 그에 따른 각종 데이터를 저장한다.
제어부(160)는 상기 MS(100)가 AP로부터 받은 접속 정보와 사용자 및 시스템의 요구사항을 이용하여 적절한 Band(주파수 대역)로 접속을 시도하도록 개별 NIC(111~119)를 제어하는 역할을 한다.
도 6은 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 관련된 AP(Access Point, 무선 접속장치)(200)를 개략적으로 도시한 블록구성도이다.
도 6을 참조하면, 본 발명에 따른 AP(200)는 하나 또는 그 이상의 대역에서 BSS를 운영하기 위한 하나 또는 그 이상의 NIC(Network Interface Card)들(211~219)을 구비한다. 상기 NIC(211~219)는 무선랜 서비스를 수행하기 위한 모듈로서, AP(200)에 내장 또는 외장될 수 있다. 상기 NIC(211~219)는 무선랜 각각이 지원하는 규격에 따라 MS와 무선 통신을 수행한다. 상기 NIC(211~219)는 AP(200)의 성능 및 시스템 요구사항에 따라 동시에 하나의 NIC(211~219 중 1개)만을 동작시키거나 동시에 다수의 NIC (211~219)를 동작시킬 수 있다. 상기 블록도의 AP(200)는 복수의 NIC(211~219)가 서로 분리되어 도시되어 있으며, 이것은 각각의 NIC가 MAC/PHY 계층이 서로 독립적으로 운영된다. 이러한 복수의 NIC(211~219)는 물리적으로 서로 구별되는 기능 개체로 구현되거나 또는 하나의 물리 개체로 통합하여 구현하는 것도 가능하다.
메모리(250)부는 MS의 접속을 관리하는 접속 프로그램 및 그에 따른 각종 데이터를 저장한다.
제어부(260)는 다수의 Band들에 대한 접속 정보와 사용자 및 시스템의 요구사항을 이용하여 적절한 Band로 MS와 접속을 진행하도록 개별 NIC(211~219)를 제어하는 역할을 한다.
도 7은 본 발명의 일 실시 예로 MS(100)가 다중 NIC(111, 113)를 가지고 있을 때, 더욱 상세하게는 MS(100)가 다중 NIC(111, 113) 중 동시에 하나의 NIC만 사용하는 경우의 무선랜 접속 절차를 도시한 흐름도이다.
도 7을 참조하여 MS(100)가 무선랜 접속을 시도하는 경우를 살펴보면, 먼저 AP(200)는 자신이 운영하는 모든 BSS들의 서비스 영역내에 존재하는 MS들에게 Broadcast 방식으로 개별적인 Beacon메시지를 주기적으로 전송한다(S101). 본 실시 예에서는 AP(200)가 NIC-1(211)으로 운영하는 BSS-1에서 Beacon을 전송하는 경우(S101)를 가정한다.
본 실시 예에서 MS(100)가 NIC-1(111)을 통해 Beacon을 수신하면 BSSI(BSS Information, 상세 접속 정보)(도8의 1011), OB(Operating Band, 운영 대역)(도8의 1013), OC(Operating Channel, 운영 채널)(도8의 1015)의 정보를 포함하여 수신하게 된다. 상기 BSSI(도8의 1011)에는 BSS-1의 접속 정보가 포함되어 있다. 상기 OB(도8의 1013)에는 상기 AP(200)가 NIC-1(211)과 NIC-2(213)을 통해 운영하는 주파수 대역의 대역 ID 정보가 포함되어 있다. 상기 OC(도8의 1015)에는 상기 AP(200)가 NIC-1(211)과 NIC-2(213)을 통해 운영하는 주파수 대역 내의 세부 채널 ID 번호 정보가 포함되어 있다.
상기 Beacon을 수신한 MS(100)는 BSSI(도8의 1011)정보를 이용하여 AP(200)가 NIC-1(211)으로 운영하는 BSS-1으로 바로 접속을 시도할 수 있다. 그러나 BSS-1이 아닌 AP(200)가 NIC-2(213)로 운영하는 BSS-2로 접속을 시도하고자 하는 경우에는 Beacon(S101)의 정보만으로는 접속이 불가하다. 이 경우 추가적인 정보 요청을 위해 MS(200)는 추가적으로 Broadcast 방식으로 Probe Request 메시지를 보내어(S103) AP(200)에게 NIC-2(213)의 BSSI-2 정보를 요청할 수 있다. (추가적으로 상기 Beacon을 수신하지 못한 MS의 경우에도 Broadcast 방식으로 Probe Request 메시지를 보내어 AP에게 상세한 BSSI 정보를 요청할 수 있다.)
상기 Probe Request(S103)에는 MS(100)가 지원하는 하나 또는 그 이상의 NIC(111, 113)가 접속 가능한 하나 또는 그 이상의 주파수 대역 정보를 포함한 SB(Supporting Band, 지원 대역)(도8의 1031) 정보를 포함하여 보낼 수 있다.
상기 Probe Request(S103) 메시지를 수신한 상기 AP(200)는 응답으로 Probe Response 메시지를 Unicast 방식으로 상기 MS(100)로 전송한다(S105). 상기 Probe Response(S105) 메시지에는 최초의 Beacon(S101) 메시지와 유사하게 MS(100)가 NIC-1(111)을 통해 접속하기 위해 필요한 BSSI(NIC-1) 접속 정보(도8의 1011)와, NIC-2(113)를 통해 접속하기 위해 필요한 BSSI(NIC-2) 접속 정보(도8의 1053)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 MS가 Probe Response(S105) 메시지를 수신하여 BSSI(NIC-1) 접속 정보(도8의 1011)와 BSSI(NIC-2) 접속 정보(도8의 1053)를 모두 수신하면 MS(100)는 사용자가 미리 설정하였거나 MS(100)가 선호하는 대역을 선택하여 접속을 시도하거나 동시에 다중 NIC(111, 113)로 접속을 시도할 수 있다. 이를 MS decision 단계(S107)라 한다. 추가적으로 상기 Probe Response 메시지(S105)에는 각 주파수 대역의 트래픽 혼잡도나 AP의 부하를 고려한 load/availability indicator가 각 BSSI에 포함될 수 있다. MS(100)는 이 정보를 활용하여 AP(200)의 특정 NIC에 접속할 지 여부를 결정하는 데 활용할 수 있다.
이후에는 결정된 AP(200)의 NIC(211, 213)와 링크 설정을 위한 Authentication(S209) 및 Association(S211) 정보 교환단계로 진입할 수 있게 된다. 본 실시 예를 나타내는 도 7에서는 NIC-2(213)로만 접속을 요청한다고 가정한다.
도 8은 도 7에서 도시한 본 발명의 일 실시 예를 메시지 세부 내용을 포함하여 상세히 나타낸 것이다.
도 9는 도 7에서 도시한 본 발명의 일 실시 예를 2.4GHz와 5GHz 대역으로 예시하여 상세히 나타낸 것이다.
IEEE 802.11n 무선랜은 다중 주파수 대역에서 사용이 가능하며 대표적으로 2.4GHz와 5GHz에서 동작이 가능하다. 그러나 2.4GHz 대역에서는 Passive Scanning과 Active Scanning 기법을 둘 다 사용할 수 있는 데 반해, 5GHz 대역에서는 주파수 규제로 인해 Passive Scanning 기법만 사용이 가능하다. 그러나 5GHz 대역에서 Passive Scanning을 수행할 경우 다수의 채널에서 순차적으로 Beacon 메시지를 수신하기 위해 대기해야 하므로 MS가 AP 접속 정보를 획득하는 데 많은 시간이 소모된다.
도 9를 참조하고 상기 제약사항을 고려하면 본 발명은 2.4GHz 주파수 대역에서 Active Scanning을 통해 획득한 5GH 대역의 BSSI 정보를 이용하여, 5GHz 대역에서 Passive Scanning 수행 없이 신속하게 접속이 가능한 효과를 가진다.
도 9를 참조하여 MS(100)가 무선랜 접속을 시도하는 경우를 살펴보면, 먼저 AP(200)는 자신이 운영하는 모든 BSS들의 서비스 영역내에 존재하는 MS들에게 Broadcast 방식으로 개별적인 Beacon메시지를 주기적으로 전송한다(S101). 본 실시 예에서는 AP(200)가 2.4GHz NIC(211)로 운영하는 BSS-1에서 Beacon을 전송하는 경우(S101)를 가정한다.
본 실시 예에서 MS(100)가 2.4GHz NIC(111)을 통해 Beacon을 수신하면 BSSI(BSS Information, 상세 접속 정보)(1011), OB(Operating Band, 운영 대역)(1013), OC(Operating Channel, 운영 채널)(1015)의 정보를 포함하여 수신하게 된다. 상기 BSSI(1011)에는 BSS-1의 접속 정보가 포함되어 있다. 상기 OB(1013)에는 상기 AP(200)가 2.4GHz NIC(211)과 5GHz NIC(213)을 통해 운영하는 주파수 대역의 대역 ID 정보가 포함되어 있다. 상기 OC(1015)에는 상기 AP(200)가 2.4GHz NIC(211)과 5GHz NIC(213)을 통해 운영하는 주파수 대역 내의 세부 채널 ID 번호 정보가 포함되어 있다.
상기 Beacon을 수신한 MS(100)는 BSSI (1011)정보를 이용하여 AP(200)가 2.4GHz NIC (211)으로 운영하는 BSS-1으로 바로 접속을 시도할 수 있다. 그러나 BSS-1이 아닌 AP(200)가 5GHz NIC(213)로 운영하는 BSS-2로 접속을 시도하고자 하는 경우에는 Beacon(S101)의 정보만으로는 접속이 불가하다. 이 경우 추가적인 정보 요청을 위해 MS(200)는 추가적으로 Broadcast 방식으로 Probe Request 메시지를 보내어(S103) AP(200)에게 5GHz NIC(213)의 BSSI-2 정보를 요청할 수 있다. (추가적으로 상기 Beacon을 수신하지 못한 MS의 경우에도 Broadcast 방식으로 Probe Request 메시지를 보내어 AP에게 상세한 BSSI 정보를 요청할 수 있다.)
상기 Probe Request(S103)에는 MS(100)가 지원하는 하나 또는 그 이상의 NIC(111, 113)가 접속 가능한 하나 또는 그 이상의 주파수 대역 정보를 포함한 SB(Supporting Band, 지원 대역)(1031) 정보를 포함하여 보낼 수 있다.
상기 Probe Request(S103) 메시지를 수신한 상기 AP(200)는 응답으로 Probe Response 메시지를 Unicast 방식으로 상기 MS(100)로 전송한다(S105). 상기 Probe Response(S105) 메시지에는 최초의 Beacon(S101) 메시지와 유사하게 MS(100)가 2.4GHz NIC(111)을 통해 접속하기 위해 필요한 BSSI(2.4GHz) 접속 정보(1011)와, 5GHz NIC(113)를 통해 접속하기 위해 필요한 BSSI(5GHz) 접속 정보(1053)를 포함할 수 있다.
상기 MS가 Probe Response(S105) 메시지를 수신하여 BSSI(2.4GHz) 접속 정보(1011)와 BSSI(5GHz) 접속 정보(1053)를 모두 수신하면 MS(100)는 사용자가 미리 설정하였거나 MS(100)가 선호하는 대역을 선택하여 접속을 시도하거나 동시에 다중 NIC(111, 113)로 접속을 시도할 수 있다. 이를 MS decision 단계(S107)라 한다. 추가적으로 상기 Probe Response 메시지(S105)에는 각 주파수 대역의 트래픽 혼잡도나 AP의 부하를 고려한 load/availability indicator가 각 BSSI에 포함될 수 있다. MS(100)는 이 정보를 활용하여 AP(200)의 특정 NIC에 접속할 지 여부를 결정하는 데 활용할 수 있다.
이후에는 결정된 AP(200)의 NIC(211, 213)와 링크 설정을 위한 Authentication(S209) 및 Association(S211) 정보 교환단계로 진입할 수 있게 된다. 본 실시 예를 나타내는 도 9에서는 5GHz NIC(213)로만 접속을 요청한다고 가정한다.
도 10은 본 발명의 일 실시 예로 MS가 다중 NIC를 가지고 있을 때, 더욱 상세하게는 MS가 다중 NIC 중 동시에 다수의 NIC를 사용하는 경우의 무선랜 접속 절차를 도시한 흐름도이다.
도 10을 참조하여 MS(100)가 무선랜 접속을 시도하는 경우를 살펴보면, 먼저 AP(200)는 자신이 운영하는 모든 BSS들의 서비스 영역내에 존재하는 MS들에게 Broadcast 방식으로 개별적인 Beacon메시지를 주기적으로 전송한다(S101). 본 실시 예에서는 AP(200)가 NIC-1(211)으로 운영하는 BSS-1에서 Beacon을 전송하는 경우(S101)를 가정한다.
본 실시 예에서 MS(100)가 NIC-1(111)을 통해 Beacon을 수신하면 BSSI(BSS Information, 상세 접속 정보)(도11의 1011), OB(Operating Band, 운영 대역)(도11의 1013), OC(Operating Channel, 운영 채널)(도11의 1015)의 정보를 포함하여 수신하게 된다. 상기 BSSI(도11의 1011)에는 BSS-1의 접속 정보가 포함되어 있다. 상기 OB(도11의 1013)에는 상기 AP(200)가 NIC-1(211)과 NIC-2(213)을 통해 운영하는 주파수 대역의 대역 ID 정보가 포함되어 있다. 상기 OC(도11의 1015)에는 상기 AP(200)가 NIC-1(211)과 NIC-2(213)을 통해 운영하는 주파수 대역 내의 세부 채널 ID 번호 정보가 포함되어 있다.
상기 Beacon을 수신한 MS(100)는 BSSI(도11의 1011)정보를 이용하여 AP(200)가 NIC-1(211)으로 운영하는 BSS-1으로 바로 접속을 시도할 수 있다. 그러나 BSS-1이 아닌 AP(200)가 NIC-2(213)로 운영하는 BSS-2로 접속을 시도하고자 하는 경우에는 Beacon(S101)의 정보만으로는 접속이 불가하다. 이 경우 추가적인 정보 요청을 위해 MS(200)는 추가적으로 Broadcast 방식으로 Probe Request 메시지를 보내어(S103) AP(200)에게 NIC-2(213)의 BSSI-2 정보를 요청할 수 있다. 도 11은 도 10에서 도시한 본 발명의 일 실시 예를 메시지 세부 내용을 포함하여 상세히 나타낸 것이다.
도 12는 도 10에서 도시한 본 발명의 일 실시 예를 2.4GHz와 5GHz 대역으로 예시하여 상세히 나타낸 것이다.
IEEE 802.11n 무선랜은 다중 주파수 대역에서 사용이 가능하며 대표적으로 2.4GHz와 5GHz에서 동작이 가능하다. 그러나 2.4GHz 대역에서는 Passive Scanning과 Active Scanning 기법을 둘 다 사용할 수 있는 데 반해, 5GHz 대역에서는 주파수 규제로 인해 Passive Scanning 기법만 사용이 가능하다. 그러나 5GHz 대역에서 Passive Scanning을 수행할 경우 다수의 채널에서 순차적으로 Beacon 메시지를 수신하기 위해 대기해야 하므로 MS가 AP 접속 정보를 획득하는 데 많은 시간이 소모된다.
도 12를 참조하고 상기 제약사항을 고려하면 본 발명은 2.4GHz 주파수 대역에서 Active Scanning을 통해 획득한 5GH 대역의 BSSI 정보를 이용하여, 5GHz 대역에서 Passive Scanning 수행 없이 신속하게 접속이 가능한 효과를 가진다.

Claims (14)
- 이동 단말기에서 수행되는 무선 링크 설정 방법으로서,복수의 통신 채널을 지원하는 무선접속장치로부터 상기 복수의 통신 채널 중 제1 통신 채널을 통해 비콘 메시지를 수신하는 단계;상기 비콘 메시지로부터 상기 제1 통신 채널로의 접속을 위해 사용되는 무선 접속정보를 획득하는 단계; 및상기 비콘 메시지로부터 상기 복수의 통신 채널 중 상기 제1 통신 채널을 제외한 적어도 하나의 가용 통신 채널 목록을 획득하는 단계를 포함하는 무선 링크 설정 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 무선 링크 설정 방법은,상기 제1 통신 채널 및 가용 통신 채널 중 접속을 위한 통신 채널을 결정하는 단계; 및결정된 통신 채널을 사용하여 접속을 시도하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무선 링크 설정 방법.
- 청구항 2에 있어서,상기 접속을 시도하는 단계는,상기 결정된 통신 채널이 상기 제1 통신 채널인 경우, 상기 무선 접속정보를 사용하여 상기 제1 통신 채널로 인증을 요청하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무선 링크 설정 방법.
- 청구항 2에 있어서,상기 접속을 시도하는 단계는,상기 결정된 통신 채널이 상기 가용 통신 채널인 경우, 상기 가용 통신 채널을 통해 프로브 리퀘스트(probe request) 메시지를 송신하는 단계; 및상기 무선접속장치로부터 상기 프로브 리퀘스트 메시지에 대한 응답인 프로브 리스폰스(probe response) 메시지를 수신하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무선 링크 설정 방법.
- 복수의 통신 채널을 지원하는 무선접속장치에서 수행되는 무선 링크 설정 방법으로서,상기 복수의 통신 채널 중 제1 통신 채널로의 접속을 위해 사용되는 무선 접속정보, 및 상기 복수의 통신 채널 중 제1 통신 채널을 제외한 적어도 하나의 가용 통신 채널 목록을 포함한 비콘 메시지를 생성하는 단계; 및상기 제1 통신 채널을 통해 상기 비콘 메시지를 송신하는 단계를 포함하는 무선 링크 설정 방법.
- 청구항 5에 있어서,상기 무선 링크 설정 방법은,상기 제1 통신 채널을 통해 이동단말기로부터 인증 요청을 수신한 경우, 상기 이동단말기와의 인증 과정을 수행하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무선 링크 설정 방법.
- 청구항 5에 있어서,상기 무선 링크 설정 방법은,상기 적어도 하나의 가용 통신 채널을 통해 이동단말기로부터 프로브 리퀘스트(probe request) 메시지를 수신한 경우, 상기 프로브 리퀘스트 메시지에 대한 응답인 프로브 리스폰스(probe response) 메시지를 상기 이동단말기에 송신하는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 무선 링크 설정 방법.
- 이동단말기로서,상기 이동단말기의 작동을 제어하는 제어부; 및상기 제어부의 명령에 기초하여 데이터를 송수신하는 적어도 하나의 네트워크 인터페이스 카드를 포함하되,상기 제어부는,복수의 통신 채널을 지원하는 무선접속장치로부터 상기 복수의 통신 채널 중 제1 통신 채널을 통해 비콘 메시지를 수신하고, 상기 비콘 메시지로부터 상기 제1 통신 채널로의 접속을 위해 사용되는 무선 접속정보를 획득하고, 상기 비콘 메시지로부터 상기 복수의 통신 채널 중 상기 제1 통신 채널을 제외한 적어도 하나의 가용 통신 채널 목록을 획득하는 이동단말기.
- 청구항 8에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 제1 통신 채널 및 가용 통신 채널 중 접속을 위한 통신 채널을 결정하고, 결정된 통신 채널을 사용하여 접속을 시도하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동단말기.
- 청구항 9에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 결정된 통신 채널이 상기 제1 통신 채널인 경우, 상기 무선 접속정보를 사용하여 상기 제1 통신 채널로 인증을 요청하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동단말기.
- 청구항 9에 있어서,상기 제어부는,상기 결정된 통신 채널이 상기 가용 통신 채널인 경우, 상기 가용 통신 채널을 통해 프로브 리퀘스트(probe request) 메시지를 송신하고, 상기 무선접속장치로부터 상기 프로브 리퀘스트 메시지에 대한 응답인 프로브 리스폰스(probe response) 메시지를 수신하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이동단말기.
