Abstract
La présente invention concerne un système permettant d'augmenter un affichage sur rétroviseur (140) dans un véhicule, comprenant un dispositif d'affichage sur rétroviseur (140), un capteur de point de vue (110), une caméra (130) et un circuit de traitement (150) couplé électriquement au capteur (110) et à la caméra (130). Le circuit de traitement comprend un module de détection de point de vue (156) et un module de traitement d'image (158). Le module de détection de point de vue (156) est conçu pour estimer le point de vue du conducteur du véhicule et pour estimer une image réfléchie visible sur le rétroviseur à partir du point de vue estimé. Le module de traitement d'image (158) est conçu pour aligner des données visuelles complémentaires provenant de la caméra avec l'image réfléchie estimée et pour augmenter l'affichage du rétroviseur avec les données visuelles complémentaires. L'affichage augmenté permet au conducteur de voir efficacement « au travers » ou au-delà d'objets opaques qui obstruent généralement la vue du conducteur dans un rétroviseur traditionnel.
