- Present invention generally relates to the design and mechanism for sliding doors and windows used generally in buildings, including but not limited to private homes, apartments and commercial buildings having fixed frames and, in this frame, at least one glazed panel which cooperates with guide means associated with the frame and guiding the panel so as to move along the frame. More particularly present invention relates to system design (Design of the profiles / sections) and rolling / sliding mechanism for construction of sliding doors and windows along with some new features introduced in sliding windows & doors, like enhanced closed track system design, ball rolling mechanism with design, mechanism / technique for construction of sound proof glass doors and windows, pull down mosquito screen and pull up privacy screen which is incorporated in the same window frame or sections & any position locking mechanism for sliding shutters which enables the shutter to be locked at any position.

The plate is mounted on the window frame, while the rotating cylinder is mounted on the slash. As the cylinder is rotated, the stud engages and imparts forces to the cylinder, causing the cylinder to translate along its longitudinal axis, thereby locking the window slash in place.
- US pat no 3179454 discloses a sash locking arrangement which permits a sash to be locked at intermediate positions along the window frame.
- a pair of inclined surfaces defines a spiral groove in which a finger travels, the finger being attached to a rotatable shaft.
- the inclined surfaces are rigidly attached to a handle which may be moved parallel to the longitudinal axis of the rotating shaft.
- Present invention provides a Locking System which is specially designed in order to enable the user to lock the Sliding Window even at any Open Position. This aspect of the invention adds the safety ' feature of the prevalent sliding doors and windows.
- Present invention attempts to provide a D.G.S. "Double Glass Shutter" section wherein the Profile Section accommodates two Separate Glass Panels to be fixed keeping the desired Air-Gap in between them which enables the entire Double Glass Shutter to perform like a Double Glazed Unit, producing same Sound proofing and heat insulating properties & the Product so developed require much lower cost & time.
- one exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a Novel Design of Profile Sections which can be used in any type of Open able or Sliding windows & doors where the sections are made more compact, sleek, striking and 30 to 50 percent more sturdy than the prevailing sections by minimizing the Height & Width dimensions and by increasing the wall thickness dimensions. Further the conventional open track sliding system in conventional design is replaced by closed track system.
- Another exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides with a new Technique of "Any Position Locking" which will be used in Sliding Window & Door System which enables the user to lock the sliding door or window in any position.
- Primary object of present invention is to provide a device and methodology for construction of Profile Sections, which is capable to be used in any type of sliding windows & doors where the sections are made more compact, sleek, striking and 30 to 50 percent more sturdy than the prevailing sections by minimizing the Height & Width dimensions and increasing the wall thickness dimension.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide 100% Air Tight Sliding Window & Door System which gives optimum utilisation of energy eliminating major energy losses through windows & doors. And which will never rattle or bang against the speedy winds.
- Another object of present invention is provide a novel feature like "Any Position Locking system" for sliding doors and windows by way of which user shall be able to lock the sliding door or window according to his/her need and requirement in any convenient position he/she may desire.
- Another object of present invention is to provide design and methodology for' construction of cost effective easy to construct and maintain Shutter Section comprising of double glass shutter section wherein the Profile Section accommodates two Separate Glass Panels to be fixed keeping the desired Air-Gap in between them which enables the entire Double Glass Shutter to perform like a Double Glazed Unit, producing same Sound proofing properties & the Product so developed require much lower cost & time.
- the closed track sliding system for sliding doors and windows helps to get rid of prevalent problem of dirt and dust deposition in gaps of open tracks persisting in existing open track sliding system can be conveniently and easily solved.
- the system comprises of a any position locking system which helps the user to lock the window or door at any position he/she desires which ' enhances the security of the device by replacing the conventional locking mechanism which is located at the side section of frame and hence user is forced to completely close the door or window he wishes to lock.
- Yet another unique feature introduced by present invention is its double glass shutter section which accommodates two separate glass panels by maintaining desired air gap in between by way of which provided structure acts as a sound proof glass unit. By way of the present modification the cost of construction and maintenance of the sound proof glass structure can be drastically reduced.

- the Shape & Size of the Profile Sections used in Sliding Windows & Doors is changed in fashion that the Track & Shutter will be acting in combination, as a CLOSED TRACK system.
- the sections are made more compact, sleek, striking which are 30 to 50 percent sturdier than the prevailing sections because we have minimised the Height & Width dimensions, increasing the wall thickness of the aluminium profiles from 18 gauge and bellow to standardised 16 gauge and above.
- Present invention provides space for increasing the wall thickness of the profile section more than any other available devices in order to provide further durability to the structure and astonishingly the weight range & the price remains same to the existing devices/systems available.
- the Following invention provides a Closed Track mechanism, where the Track Section are designed in a Closed Box Type Profile.
- the sliding Stud on which the wheel bearing slides, while the Stud is connected to the Track and the Bearing Mechanism is connected or fixed on the Shutter.
- a Gasket preferably made of any material like rubber, EPDM, Silicone, Polyurethane etc. may be provided over the opening from outside so that no gap is left for entry of any kind of Dust, Air, Rain Water or Insects or any other material inside the Closed Track System to get in the other side of the window.
- the Sliding Window Can be Locked at only Completely Closed position, in short if the Sliding Window is partially open it is not at all Locked since the Locking is fixed on the Side Section of the Track Frame.
- a locking system is provided by way of which user can lock the sliding mechanism at any position he/she desires and there is no need to completely close the window for locking .
- the security feature of the mechanism can be enhanced along with providing convenient option to user to decide extent of the mecha nism he/she desires to keep open and lock the device at the desired position.
- Prevailing locki ng devices are fixed to the side sections of the shutter panel but in the novel design of "Any Position Locking" for shutters in sliding windows & doors the locking device / mechanism is fixed in the bottom section of the shutter panel, which simply works as a cam wheel attached to the shaft and on getting engaged with the Track frame bellow lifts the Shutter Panel upwards to be tighten in between Top & Bottom Track frames and disables / resists the Glass Shutter Panel to move or slide further.

Further in order to seal slight gap left in between the Shutter Stud and Track Flanges, a Gasket is provided in the Track Section, so that no gap is left for entry of any kind of Dust or any other Dirt inside the Track.

- the sheets are fitted in the frame which is designed in order to accommodate both sheets by maintaining the required air gap and sealed with conventional methodologies.
