Definitions

  • the present invention refers to a structure of a mobile milking unit as well as to a mobile unit incorporating said structure .
  • the invention refers to a structure of mobile milking units and to a mobile milking unit incorporating said structure, said structure and mobile unit being particularly suitable for dairy cattle farming, especially bovine cattle, where tie-stall housing of cattle is employed.
  • Milking apparatuses provided in farms where this philosophy of housing is adopted typically comprise milking lines consisting of vacuum ducts and milk ducts which extend over the entire length of the spaces occupied by the animals to be milked. Points of connection to mobile milking units are arranged with predetermined interaxes on the milk duct. The connection points are generally equipped with faucets or connection couplings capable of being connected to a number of parts necessary for running the milking operations. On the vacuum duct, still at the connection points, there are further provided as many vacuum ports in order to feed vacuum to pulsators and to the assemblies necessary for milking.
