Abstract

Description
本発明は、無線基地局及び移動局に関する。
LTE(Long Term Evolution)方式において、図9に示すように、無線基地局eNB#A/eNB#Bは、配下のセル#A/#Bにおいて通信を行う移動局UEに対して、C-RNTI(Cell- Radio Netowork Temporary Identity)を割り当てて、データの送受信を行うように構成されている(特許文献1参照)。
C-RNTIは、セルごとに割り当てられるように構成されており、LTE方式では、図9に示すように、同一のセル#Aにおいて通信を行う移動局UE#1及び移動局UE#2に対して、同一のC-RNTIを割り当てることができず、異なるセル#A/#Bにおいて通信を行う移動局UE#1(又は、移動局UE#2)及び移動局UE#3に対して、同一のC-RNTIを割り当てることができる。
なお、C-RNTIは、「Contention based RA(Random Access)手順」やハンドオーバ手順において割り当てられるように構成されている。
また、無線基地局eNBは、移動局UEに割り当てられたC-RNTIを用いて、下りリンクデータの送信や上りリンクデータの送信用リソースの割り当てを行うように構成されている。
また、3GPPの「Rel-12ワークショップ」において、FRA(Future Radio Access)のトピックとして、「Small cell enhancement」に関する提案が多く寄せられた。
かかる提案の中で、「ファントムセル(Phantom cell)」に係るコンセプトが検討されている。
図10に示すように、従来のマクロセル(Macro cell)とは異なり、ファントムセルは、多数の「スモールセル(Small cell)」を連結することで、1つの大きなセルを形成し、広いエリアをカバーすることができる。

しかしながら、図11に示すように、各セル(マクロセル及びファントムセル)では、65535個のC-RNTIを管理しており、各移動局UEに対して1個のC-RNTIを割り当てる必要がある。
ここで、ファントムセルのカバレッジエリアが広くなると、ファントムセル内で通信を行う移動局UEの数が増えるため、ファントムセル内で移動局UEに割り当てるC-RNTIが枯渇するケースが生じ得るという問題点が想定される。
かかる問題点を解決するために、図12に示すように、マクロセルでは、各移動局UEに対して、1個のC-RNTIを割り当てる一方、ファントムセルでは、複数の移動局UEに対して、1個のC-RNTIを割り当てる(すなわち、1個のC-RNTIを複数の移動局UEで共有する)という運用が行われることが想定される。
しかしながら、かかる運用を行った場合、図13に示すように、同じセル内で同一のC-RNTIが割り当てられた移動局UE#1/UE#2が、同一のPDCCH(Physical Downlink Control Channel)信号を受信してしまい、無線基地局eNBが意図していない移動局UE#2が、移動局UE#1に対する割り当て情報を誤って受信してしまう可能性がある。
具体的には、LTE方式では、各移動局UEによって探索されるべきサーチスペースは、C-RNTIによって一意に決まるように構成されているため、図14に示すように、移動局UE#1/E#2に対して同一のC-RNTI#Aが割り当てられている場合、移動局UE#1/E#2が探索すべきサーチスペースは同じになる。
したがって、無線基地局eNBによって送信された移動局UE#1宛てのPDCCH信号は、移動局UE#1だけでなく移動局UE#2によっても受信されてしまう。
この結果、無線基地局eNBが意図していない移動局UE#2が、下りリンク信号の受信や上りリンク信号の送信を行ってしまう可能性がある。
以下、かかる事態を「移動局UE同士の衝突」と呼ぶことにする。
なお、無線基地局eNBが意図していない移動局UE#2が、PDSCH(Physical Downlink Shared Channel)を介して、下りリンク信号を受信するのは、IOT(Interoperability Test)の観点から問題である。
また、無線基地局eNBが意図していない移動局UE#2が、PUSCH(Physical Uplink Shared Channel)を介して、上りリンク信号を送信すると、他の移動局UE#1に対する干渉となる。
そこで、本発明は、上述の課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、ファントムセル内で、C-RNTIの枯渇問題を回避しつつ、シンプルな実装で、同一のC-RNTIが割り当てられた移動局同士の衝突を回避することができる無線基地局及び移動局を提供することを目的とする。
本発明の第1の特徴は、無線基地局であって、各移動局に対して、複数のC-RNTIを割り当てることができるように構成されている割当部を具備しており、前記割当部は、複数の移動局同士で、PDCCH用リソースを割り当てるサーチスペースが衝突しないように調整するように構成されていることを要旨とする。
本発明の第2の特徴は、移動局であって、無線基地局によって割り当てられている複数のC-RNTIを管理するように構成されている管理部と、前記複数のC-RNTIに対応するサーチスペースにおいて、前記移動局宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索するように構成されている受信部とを具備することを要旨とする。

図1に示すように、本実施形態に係る移動通信システムは、LTE方式の移動通信システムであって、セル#1を管理する無線基地局eNB#1を具備している。ここで、セル#1は、複数のスモールセルを連結して形成されたファントムセルである。
また、本実施形態に係る移動通信システムでは、図1に示すように、セル#1内に、移動局UE#1~UE#4が存在しているものとする。
図2に示すように、本実施形態に係る無線基地局eNB#1は、割当部11と、送信部12とを具備している。
割当部11は、各移動局UE#1~UE#4に対して、複数のC-RNTIを割り当てることができるように構成されている。
図3に示すように、本実施形態に係る移動通信システムでは、割当部11は、移動局UE#1に対して、C-RNTI#A及びC-RNTI#Bを割り当てるように構成されており、移動局UE#2に対して、C-RNTI#A及びC-RNTI#Cを割り当てるように構成されている。
割当部11は、複数の移動局UE#1~UE#4同士で、PDCCH用リソースを割り当てるサーチスペースが衝突しないように調整するように構成されている。
なお、上述したように、各移動局UEによって探索されるべきサーチスペースは、C-RNTIによって一意に決まるように構成されている。
したがって、図3に示すように、割当部11は、移動局UE#1宛てのPDCCH用リソースをC-RNTI#Bに対応するサーチスペース#Bに割り当て、移動局UE#2宛てのPDCCH用リソースをC-RNTI#Cに対応するサーチスペース#Cに割り当てるように調整することで、上述の衝突の発生を回避することができる。
すなわち、サーチスペース#Aにおいて移動局UE#1宛てのPDCCH用リソース(或いは、移動局UE#1宛てのPDCCH用リソース)を割り当てると、移動UE#1及び移動局UE#2の両者によってPDCCH信号が受信されてしまう可能性があるため、割当部11は、サーチスペース#Aにおいて、移動局UE#1宛てのPDCCH用リソース(或いは、移動局UE#1宛てのPDCCH用リソース)を割り当てない。
ここで、割当部11は、移動局UE#1と移動局UE#2との間の距離等を考慮して、移動局UE#1と移動局UE#2との間で衝突が発生するか否かについて判定するように構成されていてもよい。
移動局UE#1と移動局UE#2との間の距離とは、移動局UE間の物理的な距離で表されてもよいし、各移動局UEが接続しているセル或いは無線基地局eNBの物理的な距離で表されてもよい。
送信部12は、各移動局UE#1~UE#4に対して、各種信号を送信するように構成されている。
例えば、送信部12は、各移動局UE#1~UE#4に対して、割当部11によって割り当てられたC-RNTIを通知するように構成されている。
また、送信部12は、各移動局UE#1~UE#4に対して、割当部11によって割り当てられたPDCCH用リソースを用いて、PDCCH信号を送信するように構成されている。
ここで、移動局UE#1~UE#4の構成は、基本的に同一であるため、以下、移動局UEの構成として説明する。図4に示すように、本実施形態に係る移動局UEは、受信部21と、管理部22とを具備している。
受信部21は、無線基地局eNBから、各種信号を受信するように構成されている。
例えば、受信部21は、無線基地局eNBから、無線基地局eNBによって通知され、移動局UEに対して割り当てられた複数のC-RNTIを受信するように構成されている。
ここで、受信部21は、無線基地局eNBによって送信された「RRC Connection Reconfiguration」や「RRC Connection Configuration」等を介して、複数のC-RNTIを受信するように構成されていてもよい。
管理部22は、受信部21によって受信された複数のC-RNTIを管理するように構成されている。
ここで、受信部22は、管理部22によって管理されている複数のC-RNTIに対応するサーチスペースの全てにおいて、移動局UE宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索する、すなわち、移動局UE宛てのPDCCH信号のデコードを試みるように構成されている。
例えば、図3に示すように、移動局UE#1の受信部22は、サーチスペース#A及び#Bにおいて、移動局UE宛てのPDCCH信号のデコードを試みるように構成されており、移動局UE#2の受信部22は、サーチスペース#A及び#Cにおいて、移動局UE宛てのPDCCH信号のデコードを試みるように構成されている。
この結果、移動局UE#1及びUE#2は、お互いに衝突することなく、自身宛てのPDCCH信号を受信することができる。
以下、図5を参照して、本実施形態に係る移動通信システムの動作について、具体的には、本実施形態に係る移動局UEの動作について説明する。
図5に示すように、移動局UEは、ステップS101において、無線基地局eNBによって移動局UEに対して複数のC-RNTIが割り当てられているか否かについて判定する。
「YES」の場合、本動作は、ステップS102に進み、「NO」の場合、本動作は、ステップS103に進む。
ステップS102において、移動局UEは、複数のC-RNTIに対応するサーチスペースの全てにおいて、PDCCH用リソースを探索する。
一方、ステップS103において、移動局UEは、1つのC-RNTIに対応するサーチスペースにおいて、PDCCH用リソースを探索する。
(変更例1)
以下、図6乃至図8を参照して、本発明の変更例1に係る移動通信システムについて、上述の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムとの相違点に着目して説明する。

図6に示すように、無線基地局eNBの割当部11が、移動局UE#1に対して、C-RNTI#A及びC-RNTI#Bを割り当て、移動局UE#2に対して、C-RNTI#A及びC-RNTI#Cを割り当て、移動局UE#3に対して、C-RNTI#D及びC-RNTI#Cを割り当て、移動局UE#4に対して、C-RNTI#D及びC-RNTI#Eを割り当ており、移動局UE#1宛てのPDCCH用リソースをC-RNTI#Bに対応するサーチスペース#Bに割り当て、移動局UE#2宛てのPDCCH用リソースをC-RNTI#Cに対応するサーチスペース#Cに割り当て、移動局UE#3宛てのPDCCH用リソースをC-RNTI#Cに対応するサーチスペース#Cに割り当て、移動局UE#4宛てのPDCCH用リソースをC-RNTI#Eに対応するサーチスペース#Eに割り当てているケースでは、移動局UE#1と移動局UE#2との間の衝突、及び、移動局UE#3と移動局UE#4との間の衝突については回避することができるが、移動局UE#2と移動局UE#3との間の衝突については回避することができない。
したがって、本変更例1に係る移動通信システムでは、移動局UEの受信部22は、管理部21によって管理されている複数のC-RNTIのうちの「Primary C-RNTI」に対応するサーチスペースの一部において、「Primary C-RNTI」を用いてデスクランブリング処理を行い、かかるサーチスペースの残りの部分において、複数のC-RNTIのうちの「Secondaary C-RNTI」を用いてデスクランブリング処理を行うことによって、移動局UE宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索するように構成されている。
ここで、「Primary C-RNTI」及び「Secondaary C-RNTI」は、無線基地局eNBによって通知されるように構成されている。
例えば、図7に示すように、移動局UE#1の受信部22は、「Primary C-RNTI」であるC-RNTI#Aに対応するサーチスペース#Aの一部#A1において、C-RNTI#Aを用いてデスクランブリング処理を行い、かかるサーチスベース#Aの残りの部分#A2において、C-RNTI#Bを用いてデスクランブリング処理を行うことによって、移動局UE#1宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索するように構成されている。
また、移動局UE#2の受信部22は、「Primary C-RNTI」であるC-RNTI#Aに対応するサーチスペース#Aの一部#A1において、C-RNTI#Aを用いてデスクランブリング処理を行い、かかるサーチスベース#Aの残りの部分#A2において、C-RNTI#Cを用いてデスクランブリング処理を行うことによって、移動局UE#2宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索するように構成されている。
また、移動局UE#3の受信部22は、「Primary C-RNTI」であるC-RNTI#Dに対応するサーチスペース#Dの一部#D1において、C-RNTI#Dを用いてデスクランブリング処理を行い、かかるサーチスベース#Dの残りの部分#D2において、C-RNTI#Cを用いてデスクランブリング処理を行うことによって、移動局UE#3宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索するように構成されている。
さらに、移動局UE#4の受信部22は、「Primary C-RNTI」であるC-RNTI#Dに対応するサーチスペース#Dの一部#D1において、C-RNTI#Dを用いてデスクランブリング処理を行い、かかるサーチスベース#Dの残りの部分#D2において、C-RNTI#Eを用いてデスクランブリング処理を行うことによって、移動局UE#4宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索するように構成されている。
ここで、上述のサーチスベースの一部#A1/#D1、及び、上述のサーチスベースの残りの部分#A2/#D2は、無線基地局eNBによって通知されるように構成されている。
なお、上述のサーチスベースの一部#A1/#D1及び残りの部分#A2/#D2の比率について予め決められていてもよい。
かかるケースにおいて、無線基地局eNBの割当部11は、移動局UE#1宛てのPDCCH用リソースについては、C-RNTI#Aに対応するサーチスペース#Aの残りの部分#A2に割り当て、C-RNTI#Bを用いてスクランブリング処理を行うように構成されている。
また、無線基地局eNBの割当部11は、移動局UE#2宛てのPDCCH用リソースについては、C-RNTI#Aに対応するサーチスペース#Aの残りの部分#A2に割り当て、C-RNTI#Cを用いてスクランブリング処理を行うように構成されている。
また、無線基地局eNBの割当部11は、移動局UE#3宛てのPDCCH用リソースについては、C-RNTI#Dに対応するサーチスペース#Dの残りの部分#D2に割り当て、C-RNTI#Cを用いてスクランブリング処理を行うように構成されている。
さらに、無線基地局eNBの割当部11は、移動局UE#3宛てのPDCCH用リソースについては、C-RNTI#Dに対応するサーチスペース#Dの残りの部分#D2に割り当て、C-RNTI#Eを用いてスクランブリング処理を行うように構成されている。
以下、図8を参照して、本変更例1に係る移動通信システムの動作について、具体的には、本実施形態に係る移動局UEの動作について説明する。
図8に示すように、移動局UEは、ステップS201において、無線基地局eNBによって移動局UEに対して複数のC-RNTIが割り当てられているか否かについて判定する。
「YES」の場合、本動作は、ステップS202に進み、「NO」の場合、本動作は、ステップS203に進む。
ステップS202において、移動局UEは、「Primary C-RNTI」に対応するサーチスペースの一部において、「Primary C-RNTI」を用いて、デスクランブリング処理を行い(すなわち、PDCCHのCRCをチェックし)、「Primary C-RNTI」に対応するサーチスペースの残りの部分において、「Secondary C-RNTI」を用いて、デスクランブリング処理を行う(すなわち、PDCCHのCRCをチェックする)。
一方、ステップS203において、移動局UEは、1つのC-RNTIに対応するサーチスペースにおいて、PDCCH用リソースを探索する(すなわち、かかるC-RNTIを用いて、PDCCHのCRCをチェックする)。
以上に述べた本実施形態の特徴は、以下のように表現されていてもよい。
本実施形態の第1の特徴は、無線基地局eNBであって、各移動局UE#1~UE#4に対して、複数のC-RNTIを割り当てることができるように構成されている割当部11を具備しており、割当部11は、複数の移動局UE#1~UE#4同士で、PDCCH用リソースを割り当てるサーチスペースが衝突しないように調整するように構成されていることを要旨とする。
かかる構成によれば、ファントムセル内において、C-RNTIの枯渇問題を回避しつつ、移動局UE同士の衝突を回避することができる。
本実施形態の第1の特徴において、割当部11は、移動局UE#1~UE#4間の距離を考慮して、上述の調整を行うように構成されていてもよい。
かかる構成によれば、無線基地局eNBは、ファントムセル内で、所定距離以上離れている移動局UE同士については、同じC-RNTIを割り当てた場合であっても、衝突が発生しないと判断して、上述の調整を行わなくてもよい。この結果、無線基地局eNBの処理負荷を軽減することができる。
本実施形態の第2の特徴は、移動局UEであって、無線基地局eNBによって割り当てられている複数のC-RNTIを管理するように構成されている管理部22と、複数のC-RNTIに対応するサーチスペースにおいて、移動局UE宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索するように構成されている受信部21とを具備することを要旨とする。
かかる構成によれば、ファントムセル内において、C-RNTIの枯渇問題を回避しつつ、移動局UE同士の衝突を回避することができる。
本実施形態の第3の特徴は、移動局UEであって、無線基地局eNBによって割り当てられている複数のC-RNTIを管理するように構成されている管理部22と、複数のC-RNTIのうちの「Primary C-RNTI(プライマリC-RNTI)」に対応するサーチスペースの一部において、「Primary C-RNTI」を用いてデスクランブリング処理を行い、かかるサーチスペースの残りの部分において、複数のC-RNTIのうちの「Secondary C-RNTI」を用いてデスクランブリング処理を行うことによって、移動局UE宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索するように構成されている受信部22とを具備することを要旨とする。
かかる構成によれば、ファントムセル内で、多数の移動局UEが存在する場合であっても、C-RNTIの枯渇問題を回避しつつ、移動局UE同士の衝突を回避することができる。
なお、上述の移動局UE#1~UE#4や無線基地局eNBの動作は、ハードウェアによって実施されてもよいし、プロセッサによって実行されるソフトウェアモジュールによって実施されてもよいし、両者の組み合わせによって実施されてもよい。
ソフトウェアモジュールは、RAM(Random Access Memory)や、フラッシュメモリや、ROM(Read Only Memory)や、EPROM(Erasable Programmable ROM)や、EEPROM(Electronically Erasable and Programmable ROM)や、レジスタや、ハードディスクや、リムーバブルディスクや、CD-ROMといった任意形式の記憶媒体内に設けられていてもよい。
かかる記憶媒体は、プロセッサが当該記憶媒体に情報を読み書きできるように、当該プロセッサに接続されている。また、かかる記憶媒体は、プロセッサに集積されていてもよい。また、かかる記憶媒体及びプロセッサは、ASIC内に設けられていてもよい。かかるASICは、移動局UE#1~UE#4や無線基地局eNB内に設けられていてもよい。また、かかる記憶媒体及びプロセッサは、ディスクリートコンポーネントとして移動局UE#1~UE#4や無線基地局eNB内に設けられていてもよい。
以上、上述の実施形態を用いて本発明について詳細に説明したが、当業者にとっては、本発明が本明細書中に説明した実施形態に限定されるものではないということは明らかである。本発明は、請求の範囲の記載により定まる本発明の趣旨及び範囲を逸脱することなく修正及び変更態様として実施することができる。従って、本明細書の記載は、例示説明を目的とするものであり、本発明に対して何ら制限的な意味を有するものではない。
なお、日本国特許出願第2013-007667号(2013年1月18日出願)の全内容が、参照により、本願明細書に組み込まれている。
以上説明したように、本発明によれば、ファントムセル内で、C-RNTIの枯渇問題を回避しつつ、シンプルな実装で、同一のC-RNTIが割り当てられた移動局同士の衝突を回避することができる無線基地局及び移動局を提供することができる。

Claims (4)
- 各移動局に対して、複数のC-RNTIを割り当てることができるように構成されている割当部を具備しており、
前記割当部は、複数の移動局同士で、PDCCH用リソースを割り当てるサーチスペースが衝突しないように調整するように構成されていることを特徴とする無線基地局。 - 前記割当部は、前記移動局間の距離を考慮して、前記調整を行うように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線基地局。
- 移動局であって、
無線基地局によって割り当てられている複数のC-RNTIを管理するように構成されている管理部と、
前記複数のC-RNTIに対応するサーチスペースにおいて、前記移動局宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索するように構成されている受信部とを具備することを特徴とする移動局。 - 移動局であって、
無線基地局によって割り当てられている複数のC-RNTIを管理するように構成されている管理部と、
前記複数のC-RNTIのうちのプライマリC-RNTIに対応するサーチスペースの一部において、該プライマリC-RNTIを用いてデスクランブリング処理を行い、該サーチスペースの残りの部分において、該複数のC-RNTIのうちのセカンダリC-RNTIを用いてデスクランブリング処理を行うことによって、前記移動局宛てのPDCCH用リソースを探索するように構成されている受信部とを具備することを特徴とする移動局。
