  • a simpler variant of the present invention is to have a moveable floor in a container in order to utilize storage capacity per unit of area. This floor may be raised and lowered in the same way as the internal container, but will not result in two completely separated containers. In this case, the external volume of the container will be the same, but the floor may be adjusted up and down so that two chambers in the container are achieved.

Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un système pour le stockage et le transport de conteneurs, lequel système peut réduire les exigences de stockage des conteneurs et réduire le nombre d'opérations de levage dans des installations en mer et sur terre. Le système comprend au moins deux conteneurs disposés l'un dans l'autre ; un conteneur externe (1) avec un plancher (3) et quatre parois latérales (4, 5, 6, 7a + 7b), au moins l'une des parois latérales pouvant être ouverte pour le vidage/remplissage de marchandises, et un conteneur interne (2) disposé dans le conteneur externe, le conteneur interne ayant un plancher (8), quatre parois latérales (9, 10, 11, 2a et 12b) et un toit (13), au moins l'une des parois latérales pouvant être ouverte pour le vidage/remplissage de marchandises, et les deux parois latérales qui peuvent être ouvertes étant disposées dans un même plan latéral ; et, dans une position inférieure, le conteneur interne étant abaissé complètement vers le bas dans le conteneur externe, et, dans une position supérieure, le conteneur interne étant élevé et verrouillé avec un mécanisme de verrouillage, de telle sorte que le plancher (8) du conteneur interne devient le toit du conteneur externe.
