Abstract

Disclosed are an expansion analysis method and apparatus for a base station board. The method comprises: making statistics on busy hour call attempt (BHCA) data corresponding to current services in a base station board within a predetermined period of time; normalizing the statistical BHCA data according to a BHCA designed capacity of each type of base station boards; and performing expansion analysis on the base station board according to a preset BHCA threshold and normalized BHCA data. The present invention solves the problem that an expansion analysis method in related art cannot analyze an instantaneous processing capability of the board, implements monitoring over the load capacity of the board, and improves the processing capability of the system.
