Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for providing content using a smart device, and more particularly, to a method and system for providing content using a widget installed on a screen of a smart device.
- Smartphones do not simply function as mobile phones, but as small computers in the palm of your hand, enabling a variety of functions not previously seen. It is also possible to provide new services.
- Smart devices have many features, but their screens are small, requiring different designs for the user interface.
- Various icons were placed on the screen. Some icons invoke application software installed on a smart device to perform a function. Some icons call and execute software that sets the functionality of the operating system software. Some icons function as a kind of widget, which allows you to access and use specific content without going through a browser.
- the distribution of mobile content takes place in two ways.
- One is how the application server that provides the content pushes it to the device. This is most often done via email, sending a message with a link, or using a specific application screen running on the device.
- Much of the content provided by the push method is perceived as spam, which may cause psychological discomfort for the user.
- Another method is a pull method in which a user accesses a page with content. Due to the spontaneity of the user, the content is distributed, which does not cause the user's psychological discomfort.
- there was a limit in terms of the wide distribution of content because it had to be included in a “voluntary choice” among numerous contents.
- the inventor of the present invention began to study the psychological behavior of the user. Because there is a psychological driver of the user's behavior, it is believed that there will be some psychological reason for executing a series of events using the device. In addition, the series of user behaviors in the device environment was analyzed to be based on one of (1) interest from curiosity, (2) the expectation of a new event, and (3) the expectation of economic compensation. The inventors of the present invention have completed the present invention after research efforts to relate it to the content distribution of the pull method.
- Another object of the present invention is to significantly improve the possibility of the user's access and distribution of the content by providing the content in conjunction with the new concept of the graphical user interface.
- Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a smart device that functions as an essential component of such a system.
- a first aspect of the present invention for achieving the above object is a method for providing different content in response to a widget that is visually changing on the smart device screen:
- the visible change of the changing widget may be a form of the changing widget.
- the visible change of the changing widget may be a color of the changing widget.
- the visible change of the changing widget is such that the changing widget is located on a user screen. It may be to change the coordinate value.
- the smart device is a smart phone
- the changing widget is It may be displayed on a preset area of the unlock screen and change visually.
- the smart device is a smart phone
- the changing widget is It may be visually changed while being displayed on a preset area of the home screen.
- the content that is called in the step (c) is displayed on the user screen of the smart device,
- the content may be different according to a change in the shape, color, or position of the changing widget at the time of the selection event of step (b).
- the content is called in the step (c) is displayed on the user screen of the smart device May be one of a mobile coupon, an information page, advertisement content, giveaway content, and message content.
- the method may further include providing a corresponding reward to an account of the smart device.
- the smart device is preferably a smartphone, tablet PC or smart TV.
- a second aspect of the present invention is a computer-readable recording medium for performing the above method
- a module for displaying a changing widget that is visually changed on a user screen of the smart device
- a module for recognizing a selection event for the changing widget of the input means of the smart device
- a module for calling and displaying content corresponding to the selected changing widget to a user screen of the smart device And a module for calling and displaying content corresponding to the selected changing widget to a user screen of the smart device.
- a third aspect of the invention is a system for providing different content in response to a widget that is visually changing on a smart device screen:
- a smart device installed with an application that executes a changing widget which is visually changed and displayed on a user screen;
- An application server for providing and managing the changing widget application to the smart device.
- a plurality of content provider servers that register content in advance through the application server and provide content corresponding to the selection event to the smart device as a selection event for the changing widget occurs; Including;
- the content that is called to the user screen of the smart device may be configured to change an environment.
- a second aspect of the present invention provides a smart device
- a display having a user interface
- Input means and output means for performing input and output via the display
- a communication module for performing data communication with an external device through a wireless communication network
- the processor executes a changing widget application installed in the smart device, and visually changes the changing widget on the user screen of the display.
- the input means When the input means generates a selection event for the changing widget, the content corresponding to the selected changing widget is called and displayed on the user screen of the display in response to the selection event.
- the present invention as described above can be created a user environment that can maximize the spontaneity of the user.
- the user is “voluntarily” accessing the hidden content by “voluntarily” selecting a widget that is attracted from curiosity and interest and is visible on the screen of their device.
- the present invention by visibly changing the widget and causing the content to change in response to the change event, increasing the possibility of content that can be enjoyable to the user, and associating the possibility with chance, It has a greatly increased advantage.
- the user wakes up the smartphone which is habitually asleep for no particular reason. Many are just habits. And this habit comes from the expectation, "Is there anything new (message or information)?"
- the method of the present invention brings a new user experience because it can provide that 'something'.
