Description

発電システム及び発電システムの運転方法
 本発明は、固体酸化物形燃料電池とガスタービンと蒸気タービンを組み合わせた発電システム及び発電システムの運転方法に関するものである。
 固体酸化物形燃料電池(Solid Oxide Fuel Cell:以下SOFC)は、用途の広い高効率な燃料電池として知られている。このSOFCは、イオン導電率を高めるために作動温度が高くされているので、空気極側に供給する空気(酸化剤)としてガスタービンの圧縮機から吐出された圧縮空気を使用することができる。また、SOFCから排気された高温の排燃料ガスをガスタービンの燃焼器の燃料として使用することができる。
 このため、例えば、下記特許文献1に記載されるように、高効率発電を達成することができる発電システムとして、SOFCとガスタービンと蒸気タービンを組み合わせたものが各種提案されている。この特許文献1に記載されたコンバインドシステムにおいて、ガスタービンは、空気を圧縮してSOFCに供給する圧縮機と、このSOFCから排気された排燃料ガスと圧縮空気から燃焼ガスを生成する燃焼器を有したものである。

 上述した従来の発電システムは、ガスタービンの圧縮機から燃焼器に圧縮空気を供給する経路と、圧縮機からSOFC等の燃料電池に圧縮空気を供給する経路を備えており、燃料電池への圧縮空気の供給開始時に圧縮機から燃焼器に圧縮空気を供給する経路の弁を徐々に閉めつつ、圧縮機から燃料電池に圧縮空気を供給する経路の弁を徐々に開くことで、燃料電池に供給する空気量を増加させている。
 ここで、発電システムでは、燃料電池とガスタービンとの駆動状態が変動すると、圧縮機から燃料電池に供給する圧縮空気の圧力が変動することがある。発電システム内で燃料電池に供給する圧縮空気の圧力が変動すると、燃料電池の空気極側の圧力が変動し、空気極と燃料極の圧力バランスを一定に保つことができなくなる。このため、空気極と燃料極の圧力バランスが保てなくなると、燃料電池の性能が劣化してしまう。
 本発明は、上述した課題を解決するものであり、燃料電池に供給する圧縮空気の圧力を安定させることができる発電システム及び発電システムの運転方法を提供することを目的とする。

 従って、圧縮空気の流れやすさの変動に合わせて、燃料電池に供給する圧縮空気が減少することを抑制できる。これにより、第2圧縮空気供給ラインから燃料電池に供給される圧縮空気が減少することを抑制でき、燃料電池に供給する圧縮空気の圧力を安定させることができる。
 本発明の発電システムでは、前記制御装置は、前記燃料電池と前記ガスタービンの圧縮空気の流通経路を遮断すると判定した場合、前記調整部によって、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインに圧縮空気を流れにくくしつつ、前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインに圧縮空気を流れやすくする制御を繰り返し、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインを閉鎖させることを特徴とする。
 従って、前記燃料電池と前記ガスタービンの圧縮空気の流通経路を遮断する際に、燃焼室に供給する圧縮空気の量が変動することを抑制できる。
 本発明の発電システムでは、前記検出部は、前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインを流れる圧縮空気の圧力を検出する第1圧力検出部と、前記圧縮空気循環ラインを流れる圧縮空気の圧力を検出する第2圧力検出部と、を含み、前記第1圧力検出部で検出した結果と、前記第2圧力検出部で検出した結果とに基づいて、前記燃料電池の圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出することを特徴とする。
 従って、簡単な検出機構で圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出することができる。
 また、本発明の発電システムの運転方法では、燃料電池と、圧縮機と燃焼器を有するガスタービンと、前記圧縮機から前記燃焼器に圧縮空気を供給する第1圧縮空気供給ラインと、前記圧縮機から前記燃料電池に圧縮空気を供給する第2圧縮空気供給ラインと、前記燃料電池から前記燃焼器に排空気を供給する圧縮空気循環ラインと、を有する発電システムの運転方法であって、前記燃料電池の圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出する工程と、前記検出部で検出した前記燃料電池の圧縮空気の流れやすさの変動に基づいて、前記調整部によって前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさと、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさとのバランスを調整する工程、を有することを特徴とする。
 燃料電池での圧縮空気の流れやすさに基づいて、第1圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさと、第2圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさと、のバランスを調整することで、燃料電池の変動の影響で燃料電池に供給する圧縮空気が変動することを抑制することができる。これにより、燃料電池に供給する圧縮空気の圧力を安定させることができる。
 本発明の発電システム及び発電システムの運転方法によれば、燃料電池での圧縮空気の流れやすさに基づいて、第1圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさと第2圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさとのバランスを調整することで、燃料電池に供給する圧縮空気の圧力が変動することを抑制することができる。これにより、燃料電池に供給する圧縮空気の圧力を安定させることができる。

 以下に添付図面を参照して、本発明に係る発電システム及び発電システムの運転方法の好適な実施例を詳細に説明する。なお、この実施例により本発明が限定されるものではなく、また、実施例が複数ある場合には、各実施例を組み合わせて構成するものも含むものである。
 本実施例の発電システムは、固体酸化物形燃料電池(以下、SOFCと称する。)とガスタービンと蒸気タービンを組み合わせたトリプルコンバインドサイクル(Triple Combined Cycle:登録商標)である。このトリプルコンバインドサイクルは、ガスタービンコンバインドサイクル発電(GTCC)の上流側にSOFCを設置することにより、SOFC、ガスタービン、蒸気タービンの3段階で発電することができるため、極めて高い発電効率を実現することができる。なお、以下の説明では、本発明の燃料電池として固体酸化物形燃料電池を適用して説明するが、この形式の燃料電池に限定されるものではない。
 図1は、本実施例の発電システムを表す概略構成図である。本実施例において、図1に示すように、発電システム10は、ガスタービン11及び発電機12と、SOFC13と、蒸気タービン14及び発電機15とを有している。この発電システム10は、ガスタービン11による発電と、SOFC13による発電と、蒸気タービン14による発電とを組み合わせることで、高い発電効率を得るように構成したものである。また、発電システム10は、制御装置62を備えている。制御装置62は、入力された設定、入力された指示及び検出部で検出した結果等に基づいて、発電システム10の各部の動作を制御する。
 ガスタービン11は、圧縮機21、燃焼器22、タービン23を有しており、圧縮機21とタービン23は、回転軸24により一体回転可能に連結されている。圧縮機21は、空気取り込みライン25から取り込んだ空気Aを圧縮する。燃焼器22は、圧縮機21から第1圧縮空気供給ライン26を通して供給された圧縮空気A1と、第1燃料ガス供給ライン27から供給された燃料ガスL1とを混合して燃焼する。タービン23は、燃焼器22から排ガス供給ライン28を通して供給された燃焼ガスG1により回転する。なお、図示しないが、タービン23は、圧縮機21で圧縮された圧縮空気A1が車室を通して供給され、この圧縮空気A1を冷却空気として翼などを冷却する。発電機12は、タービン23と同軸上に設けられており、タービン23が回転することで発電することができる。なお、ここでは、燃焼器22に供給する燃料ガスL1として、例えば、液化天然ガス(LNG)を用いている。
 SOFC13は、還元剤としての高温の燃料ガスと酸化剤としての高温の空気(酸化性ガス)が供給されることで、所定の作動温度にて反応して発電を行うものである。このSOFC13は、圧力容器内に空気極と固体電解質と燃料極が収容されて構成される。空気極に圧縮機21で圧縮された一部の圧縮空気A2が供給され、燃料極に燃料ガスL2が供給されることで発電を行う。なお、ここでは、SOFC13に供給する燃料ガスL2として、例えば、液化天然ガス(LNG)、水素(H)及び一酸化炭素(CO)、メタン(CH)などの炭化水素ガス、石炭など炭素質原料のガス化設備により製造したガスを用いている。また、SOFC13に供給される酸化性ガスは、酸素を略15%~30%含むガスであり、代表的には空気が好適であるが、空気以外にも燃焼排ガスと空気の混合ガスや、酸素と空気の混合ガスなどが使用可能である(以下、SOFC13に供給される酸化性ガスを空気という)。
 このSOFC13は、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26から分岐した第2圧縮空気供給ライン31が連結され、圧縮機21が圧縮した一部の圧縮空気A2を空気極の導入部に供給することができる。この第2圧縮空気供給ライン31は、供給する空気量を調整可能な制御弁32と、圧縮空気A2を昇圧可能なブロワ(昇圧機)33とが圧縮空気A2の流れ方向に沿って設けられている。制御弁32は、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31における圧縮空気A2の流れ方向の上流側に設けられ、ブロワ33は、制御弁32の下流側に設けられている。SOFC13は、空気極で用いられた圧縮空気A3(排空気)を排出する排空気ライン34が連結されている。この排空気ライン34は、空気極で用いられた圧縮空気A3を外部に排出する排出ライン35と、燃焼器22に連結される圧縮空気循環ライン36とに分岐される。排出ライン35は、排出する空気量を調整可能な制御弁37が設けられ、圧縮空気循環ライン36は、循環する空気量を調整可能な制御弁38が設けられている。
 また、SOFC13は、燃料ガスL2を燃料極の導入部に供給する第2燃料ガス供給ライン41が設けられている。第2燃料ガス供給ライン41は、供給する燃料ガス量を調整可能な制御弁42が設けられている。SOFC13は、燃料極で用いられた排燃料ガスL3を排出する排燃料ライン43が連結されている。この排燃料ライン43は、外部に排出する排出ライン44と、燃焼器22に連結される排燃料ガス供給ライン45とに分岐される。排出ライン44は、排出する燃料ガス量を調整可能な制御弁46が設けられ、排燃料ガス供給ライン45は、供給する燃料ガス量を調整可能な制御弁47と、排燃料ガスL3を昇圧可能なブロワ48が排燃料ガスL3の流れ方向に沿って設けられている。制御弁47は、排燃料ガス供給ライン45における排燃料ガスL3の流れ方向の上流側に設けられ、ブロワ48は、制御弁47の下流側に設けられている。
 また、SOFC13は、排燃料ライン43と第2燃料ガス供給ライン41とを連結する燃料ガス再循環ライン49が設けられている。燃料ガス再循環ライン49には、排燃料ライン43の排燃料ガスL3を第2燃料ガス供給ライン41に再循環させる再循環ブロワ50が設けられている。
 蒸気タービン14は、排熱回収ボイラ(HRSG)51で生成された蒸気によりタービン52が回転するものである。蒸気タービン14(タービン52)は、排熱回収ボイラ51との間に蒸気供給ライン54と給水ライン55が設けられている。そして、給水ライン55は、復水器56と給水ポンプ57が設けられている。排熱回収ボイラ51は、ガスタービン11(タービン23)からの排ガスライン53が連結されており、排ガスライン53から供給される高温の排ガスG2と給水ライン55から供給される水との間で熱交換を行うことで、蒸気Sを生成する。発電機15は、タービン52と同軸上に設けられており、タービン52が回転することで発電することができる。なお、排熱回収ボイラ51で熱が回収された排ガスG2は、有害物質を除去されてから大気へ放出される。
 ここで、本実施例の発電システム10の作動について説明する。発電システム10を起動する場合、ガスタービン11、蒸気タービン14、SOFC13の順に起動する。
 まず、ガスタービン11にて、圧縮機21が空気Aを圧縮し、燃焼器22が圧縮空気A1と燃料ガスL1とを混合して燃焼し、タービン23が燃焼ガスG1により回転することで、発電機12が発電を開始する。次に、蒸気タービン14にて、排熱回収ボイラ51により生成された蒸気Sによりタービン52が回転し、これにより発電機15が発電を開始する。
 続いて、SOFC13を起動させるために、圧縮機21から圧縮空気A2を供給してSOFC13の加圧を開始すると共に加熱を開始する。排出ライン35の制御弁37と圧縮空気循環ライン36の制御弁38を閉止し、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31のブロワ33を停止した状態で、制御弁32を所定開度だけ開放する。すると、圧縮機21で圧縮した一部の圧縮空気A2が第2圧縮空気供給ライン31からSOFC13側へ供給される。これにより、SOFC13の空気極側は、圧縮空気A2が供給されることで圧力が上昇する。
 一方、SOFC13の燃料極側では、燃料ガスL2を供給して加圧を開始する。排出ライン44の制御弁46と排燃料ガス供給ライン45の制御弁47を閉止し、ブロワ48を停止した状態で、第2燃料ガス供給ライン41の制御弁42を開放すると共に、燃料ガス再循環ライン49の再循環ブロワ50を駆動する。すると、燃料ガスL2が第2燃料ガス供給ライン41からSOFC13へ供給されると共に、排燃料ガスL3が燃料ガス再循環ライン49により再循環される。これにより、SOFC13の燃料極側は、燃料ガスL2が供給されることで圧力が上昇する。
 そして、SOFC13の空気極側の圧力が圧縮機21の出口圧力になると、制御弁32を全開にすると共に、ブロワ33を駆動する。それと同時に制御弁37を開放してSOFC13からの圧縮空気A3を排出ライン35から排出する。すると、圧縮空気A2がブロワ33によりSOFC13側へ供給される。それと同時に制御弁46を開放してSOFC13からの排燃料ガスL3を排出ライン44から排出する。そして、SOFC13における空気極側の圧力と燃料極側の圧力が目標圧力に到達すると、SOFC13の加圧が完了する。
 その後、SOFC13の反応(発電)が安定し、圧縮空気A3と排燃料ガスL3の成分が安定したら、制御弁37を閉止する一方、制御弁38を開放する。すると、SOFC13からの圧縮空気A3が圧縮空気循環ライン36から燃焼器22に供給される。また、制御弁46を閉止する一方、制御弁47を開放してブロワ48を駆動する。すると、SOFC13からの排燃料ガスL3が排燃料ガス供給ライン45から燃焼器22に供給される。このとき、第1燃料ガス供給ライン27から燃焼器22に供給される燃料ガスL1を減量する。
 ここで、ガスタービン11の駆動による発電機12での発電、SOFC13での発電、蒸気タービン14の駆動により発電機15での発電が全て行われることとなり、発電システム10が定常運転となる。
 図2は、本発明の一実施例に係る発電システムにおけるガスタービンとSOFCと配管系統とを示す概略図である。ところで、一般的な発電システムでは、圧縮機21から排出される圧縮空気をSOFC13と燃焼器22の両方に供給する。また、圧縮機21から排出される圧縮空気は、冷却空気供給ライン72を用いてタービン23に供給され、タービン23を冷却する空気としても利用される。
 ここで、発電システムは、燃料電池とガスタービンとの駆動状態が変動するなど種々の理由によって、SOFC13の空気の流れやすさが変動する。SOFC13の空気の流れやすさが変動すると、圧縮機21から排出される圧縮空気のうち、SOFC13に供給される圧縮空気A2の割合と燃焼器22に供給される圧縮空気A1の割合との関係が変動してしまい、SOFC13に供給される圧縮空気A2の圧力が変動してしまう。
 そこで、本実施例の発電システム10では、図2に示すように、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31の圧縮空気A2の流れやすさを調整する制御弁37と、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26の圧縮空気A1の流れやすさを調整するバイパス制御弁(制御弁)70と、圧力検出部80、82、84、86とを設ける。圧力検出部80、82、84、86は、本実施形態のSOFC13の圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出する検出部となる。発電システム10の制御装置(制御部)62は、圧力検出部80、82、84、86の検出結果に基づいて、制御弁37及びバイパス制御弁70を駆動する。
 発電システム10は、圧力検出部82により検出された圧縮空気A2の圧力と圧力検出部84により検出された圧縮空気A3の圧力との差に基づいて、SOFC13の圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出し、その検出結果に基づいて、制御弁37とバイパス制御弁70の開度を制御する。この制御により、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26の圧縮空気A1の流れやすさと第2圧縮空気供給ライン31の圧縮空気A2の流れやすさとのバランスを調整することができる。これにより、SOFC13に供給する圧縮空気A2の圧力を安定させることができる。
 詳細に説明すると、図2に示すように、バイパス制御弁70は、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26に設置されている。バイパス制御弁70は、開閉を切り換えることで、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26に圧縮空気A1の流通を切り換え、開度を調整することで、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26を流れる圧縮空気A1の流れやすさ、流量及びバイパス制御弁70の上流と下流との圧力差を制御する。また、制御弁37は、上述したように第2圧縮空気供給ライン31に設置され、開閉や開度を調整することで、バイパス制御弁70と同様の調整を第2圧縮空気供給ライン31に行うことができる。
 圧力検出部80は、圧縮機21から圧縮空気が排出されるラインに設けられている。具体的には、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26と第2圧縮空気供給ライン31に分岐する前のラインに設けられている。圧力検出部80は、圧縮機21から排出される圧縮空気の圧力を検出する。圧力検出部82は、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31の制御弁37よりも下流側かつSOFC13よりも上流側に配置されている。圧力検出部82は、SOFC13に供給される圧縮空気A2の圧力を検出する。圧力検出部84は、圧縮空気循環ライン36のSOFC13よりも下流側かつ制御弁38よりも上流側に配置されている。圧力検出部84は、SOFC13から排出される圧縮空気A3の圧力を検出する。圧力検出部86は、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26のバイパス制御弁70よりも下流側かつ圧縮空気循環ライン36の連結部分よりも上流側に配置されている。圧力検出部86は、バイパス制御弁70を通過した後の圧縮空気A1の圧力を検出する。
 制御装置62は、制御弁37及びバイパス制御弁70の少なくとも一方の開度を調整可能である。そのため、制御装置62は、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26及び第2圧縮空気供給ライン31の少なくとも一方の圧縮空気の流れやすさを調整することができる。これにより、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26の圧縮空気A1の流れやすさと第2圧縮空気供給ライン31の圧縮空気A2の流れやすさとのバランスを調整することができる。
 以下、図3を用いて、上述した本実施例の発電システム10の駆動方法について説明する。図3は、本実施例の発電システムの駆動動作の一例を示すフローチャートである。図3に示す駆動動作は、制御装置(制御部)62が各部の検出結果に基づいて、演算処理を実行することで実現することができる。なお、制御装置62は、図3に示す処理を繰り返し実行する。
 まず、制御装置62は、SOFC13の圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出する(ステップS12)。具体的には、少なくとも圧力検出部82と圧力検出部84の検出結果に基づいて、SOFC13における圧力損失を検出し、その結果に基づいてSOFC13での圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出する。より好ましくは、圧力検出部80と圧力検出部84の結果を加味して、発電システム10の空気側の経路での圧力のバランスや、各部の流路抵抗等を用いて演算することで、SOFC13での圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出する。
 制御装置62は、SOFC13での圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出すると、流れやすさに変動があるかを判定する(ステップS14)。例えば、制御装置62は、前回調整を行った場合の流れやすさとの差が、設定した閾値を超えている場合、変動ありと判定する。制御装置62は、変動がない(ステップS14でNo)と判定した場合、本処理を終了する。
 制御装置62は、変動がある(ステップS14でYes)と判定した場合、バイパス制御弁70の開度を変更する制御をし(ステップS16)、本処理を終了する。ここで、制御装置62は、SOFC13において圧縮空気が流れやすくなったと判定した場合、バイパス制御弁70の開度を減少させる制御をし、SOFC13において圧縮空気が流れにくくなったと判定した場合、バイパス制御弁70の開度を増大させる制御をする。このように、発電システム10は、SOFC13における圧縮空気の流れやすさに基づいてバイパス制御弁70の開度を調整することで、SOFC13に供給する圧縮空気A2の圧力変動を抑制し、SOFC13の空気極側の圧力変動を抑制することができる。このため、SOFC13の空気極と燃料極の圧力バランスを一定に保つことができる。
 また、発電システム10内で圧力のバランスが変動してしまうと、燃焼器22に供給する圧縮空気の量や圧力が変動してしまう恐れがある。燃焼器22に供給する圧縮空気が変動してしまうと、燃焼器22での燃料ガスの燃焼が不安定となる。発電システム10は、SOFC13の圧縮空気の流れやすさの変動に合わせて、バイパス制御弁70の開度を調整することで、SOFC13に供給される圧縮空気A2と燃料器22に供給される圧縮空気A1のバランスが変動することを抑制できる。これにより、発電システム10は、燃焼器22に供給する圧縮空気A1の量や圧力の変動も抑制することができる。
 次に、図4を用いて、発電システム10の駆動方法の他の例について説明する。図4は、本実施例の発電システムの駆動動作の他の例を示すフローチャートである。図4に示す駆動動作は、制御装置(制御部)62が各部の検出結果に基づいて、演算処理を実行することで実現することができる。制御装置(制御部)62は、SOFC13またはガスタービン11で異常を検出し、SOFC13とガスタービン11との間での排燃料ガス、圧縮空気の流通を停止する際に図4に示す処理を実行する。
 まず、制御装置62は、SOFC13またはガスタービン11で異常を検出すると(ステップS20)、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31の制御弁32と圧縮空気循環ライン36の制御弁38の開度を減少させる制御をし(ステップS22)、バイパス制御弁70の開度を増大させる制御をする(ステップS24)。次に、制御装置62は、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31の制御弁32と圧縮空気循環ライン36の制御弁38の閉鎖が完了したかを判定する(ステップS26)。制御装置62は、閉鎖が完了していない(ステップS26でNo)と判定した場合、ステップS22に戻り、閉鎖が完了した(ステップS26でYes)と判定した場合、本処理を終了する。
 このように、発電システム10は、SOFC13またはガスタービン11で異常が発生すると、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31の制御弁32と圧縮空気循環ライン36の制御弁38を閉鎖し、SOFC13への圧縮空気A2の供給とSOFC13から圧縮空気(排空気)A3の排出を停止させる。したがって、SOFC13をガスタービン11から隔離することができ、SOFC13の空気極側の圧力変動を抑制することができる。このため、SOFC13の空気極と燃料極の圧力バランスを一定に保つことができる。
 ここで、発電システム10は、各ラインの圧力を圧力検出部で検出し、検出した圧力(圧力差)に基づいて圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出したが、これに限定されない。
 図5は、ガスタービンとSOFCと配管系統との他の例を示す概略図である。図5に示す発電システム10aは、SOFC113が、複数の単位SOFCユニット120を備えている。複数の単位SOFCユニット120は、並列に配置されており、それぞれ第2圧縮空気供給ライン31から圧縮空気A2が供給され、圧縮空気循環ライン36に圧縮空気A3を排出する。
 単位SOFCユニット120は、上流分岐管121と単位SOFC122と下流分岐管124と、制御弁126、128と、を備える。上流分岐管121は、一方の端部が第2圧縮空気供給ライン31に接続され、他方の端部が単位SOFC122に接続されている。単位SOFC122は、上述したSOFC13と同様の構成であり、還元剤としての高温の燃料ガスと酸化剤としての高温の空気(酸化性ガス)が供給されることで、所定の作動温度にて反応して発電を行うものである。この単位SOFC122は、圧力容器内に空気極と固体電解質と燃料極が収容されて構成される。単位SOFC122は、上流分岐管121から圧縮空気A2が供給される。下流分岐管124は、一方の端部が単位SOFC122に接続され、他方の端部が圧縮空気循環ライン36に接続される。単位SOFCユニット120は、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31から上流分岐管121を通過して単位SOFC122に圧縮空気A2が供給される。また、単位SOFCユニット120は、単位SOFC122から下流分岐管124を通過して、圧縮空気循環ライン36に圧縮空気A3が排出される。
 制御弁126は、上流分岐管121に配置されている。制御弁126は、上述した各制御弁と同様に、開閉及び開度を調整することで、上流分岐管121を流れる圧縮空気A2を調整する。制御弁128は、下流分岐管124に配置されている。制御弁128は、上述した制御弁と同様に、開閉及び開度を調整することで、下流分岐管124を流れる圧縮空気A3を調整する。
 単位SOFCユニット120は、以上のような構成であり、制御弁126、128を閉じることで、1つの単位SOFCユニット120を圧縮空気が流れる経路から隔離することができる。これにより、SOFC113は、単位SOFCユニット120毎に、駆動と停止を切り換えることができ、他の単位SOFCユニット120で発電を行いつつ、1つの単位SOFCユニット120のみメンテナンスや交換を行うことができる。
 制御装置62は、駆動または停止されている単位SOFCユニット120(単位SOFC122)の数や、単位SOFCユニット120の起動、停止の切り換えの情報をSOFC113の圧縮空気の流れやすさの情報として取得し、バイパス制御弁70を制御してもよい。
 以下、図6を用いて、上述した本実施例の発電システム10aの駆動動作の一例を説明する。図6は、発電システム10aの駆動動作の一例を示すフローチャートである。制御装置62は、停止する単位SOFC122があるかを判定する(ステップS40)。制御装置62は、停止する単位SOFC122がある(ステップS40でYes)と判定した場合、バイパス制御弁70の開度を増大させる制御をする(ステップS42)。これにより、単位SOFCユニット120が停止することで、SOFC113で利用されなくなった圧縮空気A2を燃焼器22側に供給することができる。これにより、単位SOFC122が停止しても、単位SOFC122に供給する圧縮空気A2の圧力変動を抑制し、単位SOFC122の空気極側の圧力変動を抑制することができる。
 制御装置62は、停止する単位SOFC122がない(ステップS40でNo)と判定した場合、または、ステップS42でバイパス制御弁の開度を調整した場合、起動する単位SOFC122があるかを判定する(ステップS44)。制御装置62は、起動する単位SOFC122がある(ステップS44でYes)と判定した場合、バイパス制御弁70の開度を減少させる制御をする(ステップS46)。これにより、新たに単位SOFC122を起動しても、起動している他の単位SOFC122に供給する圧縮空気A2の圧力変動を抑制し、単位SOFC122の空気極側の圧力変動を抑制することができる。このため、単位SOFC122の空気極と燃料極の圧力バランスを一定に保つことができる。
 制御装置62は、起動する単位SOFC122がない(ステップS44でNo)と判定した場合、または、ステップS46でバイパス制御弁の開度を調整した場合、本処理を終了する。
 このように、発電システム10aは、単位SOFCユニット120(単位SOFC122)の起動、停止の切り換えに応じてバイパス制御弁70の開度を調整することで、SOFC113に供給する圧縮空気A2の圧力が変動することを抑制することができる。また、発電システム10aは、単位SOFCユニット120の制御状態に基づいてバイパス制御弁70の調整が行えるため、制御が簡単となる。
 なお、上記実施形態では、バイパス制御弁70の開度を調整したが、本発明はこれに限定されない。発電システムは、SOFC113での圧縮空気の流れやすさに基づいて、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31の制御弁37の開度を調整することで、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31からSOFC113に供給する圧縮空気A2と、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26から燃焼器22に供給する圧縮空気A1のバランスを調整してもよい。
 図7は、ガスタービンとSOFCと配管系統との他の例を示す概略図である。図7に示す発電システム10bは、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26にバイパス制御弁70を設けていない点を除いて、他の構成は、上述した図2に示す発電システム10と同様である。なお、発電システム10bは、圧力検出部86を設けなくてもよい。発電システム10bは、SOFC13での圧縮空気の流れやすさに基づいて、制御弁37を調整することで、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31からSOFC13に供給する圧縮空気A2と、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26から燃焼器22に供給する圧縮空気A1のバランスを調整する。これにより、バイパス制御弁70を設けなくてもバランスを調整することができる。
 図8は、上述した本実施例の発電システム10bの発電システムの駆動動作の一例を示すフローチャートである。まず、制御装置62は、SOFC13での圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出する(ステップS50)。制御装置62は、SOFC13での圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出すると、流れやすさに変動があるかを判定する(ステップS52)。制御装置62は、変動がない(ステップS52でNo)と判定した場合、本処理を終了する。
 制御装置62は、変動がある(ステップS52でYes)と判定した場合、第2圧縮空気供給ライン31の制御弁37の開度を変更する制御をし(ステップS54)、本処理を終了する。ここで、制御装置62は、SOFC13において圧縮空気が流れやすくなったと判定した場合、制御弁37の開度を減少させる制御をし、SOFC13において圧縮空気が流れにくくなったと判定した場合、制御弁37の開度を増大させる制御をする。
 このように、発電システム10bは、SOFC13における圧縮空気の流れやすさに基づいて制御弁37の開度を調整することでも、SOFC13に供給する圧縮空気A2の圧力変動を抑制し、SOFC13の空気極側の圧力変動を抑制することができる。このため、SOFC13の空気極と燃料極の圧力バランスを一定に保つことができる。
 また、上記実施形態では、いずれも開度を調整できる制御弁を用いて、各ラインでの空気の流れやすさを調整したが、これに限定されない。発電システムは、空気の流れやすさを調整できる機構(調整部)であれば、その原理や構成は特に限定されない。
 図9は、第1圧縮空気供給ラインの他の例を示す概略構成図である。図9に示す第1圧縮空気供給ライン26は、圧縮空気の流れやすさを調整できる機構(調整部)として、主配管150と、複数の分岐管152と、複数の開閉弁154と、を有する。主配管150は、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26の一部に含まれている。主配管150は、圧縮機21から供給された圧縮空気を燃焼器22に向けて送る。分岐管152は、一方の端部が主配管150に接続され、他方の端部が主配管150に接続された配管である。つまり分岐管152は、主配管150をバイパスする配管である。複数の分岐管152は、並列で形成されている。第1圧縮空気供給ライン26を流れる圧縮空気A1は、分岐管152でバイパスされている範囲の流通時に、主配管150及び複数の分岐管152の中の1つの配管のみを流れる。分岐管152は、それぞれ1つの開閉弁154が設置されている。開閉弁154は、設置されている分岐管152の開閉を切り換える。
 図9に示す調整部は、開状態の開閉弁154の数と閉状態の開閉弁154の数の割合を調整することで、第1圧縮空気供給ライン26の圧縮空気A1の流れやすさを調整することができる。具体的には、開状態の開閉弁154の数を多くすることで、圧縮空気A1が流れやすくなり、開状態の開閉弁154の数を少なくすることで、圧縮空気A1が流れにくくなる。

Claims (11)

  1.  燃料電池と、
     圧縮機と燃焼器を有するガスタービンと、
     前記圧縮機から前記燃焼器に圧縮空気を供給する第1圧縮空気供給ラインと、
     前記圧縮機から前記燃料電池に圧縮空気を供給する第2圧縮空気供給ラインと、
     前記燃料電池から前記燃焼器に排空気を供給する圧縮空気循環ラインと、
     前記燃料電池の圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出する検出部と、
     前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさと、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさとのバランスを調整する調整部と、
     前記検出部で検出した前記燃料電池の圧縮空気の流れやすさの変動に基づいて、前記調整部によって前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさと、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさとのバランスを調整する制御装置と、を有することを特徴とする発電システム。
  2.  前記調整部は、前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインに配置された、前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさを調整する機構を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発電システム。
  3.  前記調整部は、前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインに配置された、開度を調整可能な制御弁を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の発電システム。
  4.  前記調整部は、前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインに配置された、主配管と、前記主配管をバイパスする少なくとも1本の分岐管と、前記分岐管に配置された開閉弁と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の発電システム。
  5.  前記制御装置は、前記燃料電池に圧縮空気が流れにくくなった場合、前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインに圧縮空気を流れやすくすることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の発電システム。
  6.  前記調整部は、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインに配置された、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさを調整する機構を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の発電システム。
  7.  前記調整部は、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインに配置された、開度を調整可能な制御弁を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の発電システム。
  8.  前記制御装置は、前記燃料電池に圧縮空気が流れにくくなった場合、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインに圧縮空気を流れにくくすることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の発電システム。
  9.  前記制御装置は、前記燃料電池と前記ガスタービンの圧縮空気の流通経路を遮断すると判定した場合、前記調整部によって、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインに圧縮空気を流れにくくしつつ、前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインに圧縮空気を流れやすくする制御を繰り返し、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインを閉鎖させることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8のいずれか一項に記載の発電システム。
  10.  前記検出部は、前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインを流れる圧縮空気の圧力を検出する第1圧力検出部と、前記圧縮空気循環ラインを流れる圧縮空気の圧力を検出する第2圧力検出部と、を含み、前記第1圧力検出部で検出した結果と、前記第2圧力検出部で検出した結果とに基づいて、前記燃料電池の圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出することを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の発電システム。
  11.  燃料電池と、圧縮機と燃焼器を有するガスタービンと、前記圧縮機から前記燃焼器に圧縮空気を供給する第1圧縮空気供給ラインと、前記圧縮機から前記燃料電池に圧縮空気を供給する第2圧縮空気供給ラインと、前記燃料電池から前記燃焼器に排空気を供給する圧縮空気循環ラインと、を有する発電システムの運転方法であって、
     前記燃料電池の圧縮空気の流れやすさを検出する工程と、
     前記検出部で検出した前記燃料電池の圧縮空気の流れやすさの変動に基づいて、前記調整部によって前記第1圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさと、前記第2圧縮空気供給ラインの圧縮空気の流れやすさとのバランスを調整する工程、を有することを特徴とする発電システムの運転方法。
