Abstract

The present invention relates to a process, equipment and circuit for concentrating mineral ores, using a combination of different technologies, such as clarification and separation of fines and ultra-fines; replacing cyclones during pre-flotation clarification; recovering minerals or ores from clarifying cyclones and concentration waste; recovering a considerable fraction of fine and ultra-fine minerals or ore, without adding environment-polluting inputs, inter alia. The present invention essentially consists in the use of a piezoelectric lamella concentrator (CPL) for concentrating ores, which concentrator results from the combination of the following technologies: lamella concentrator, fluidised bed separator, reflux classifier, piezoelectrically induced vibrations and programmable logic control (PLC).
