Abstract

본 발명에 의한 이차전지 전극조립체용 분리막은, 양극단자가 돌출 형성되는 양극판과 음극단자가 돌출 형성되는 음극판 사이에 위치되어 상기 양극판과 음극판 간의 전류 흐름을 차단하는 이차전지 전극조립체용 분리막에 있어서, 상기 양극단자와 상기 음극단자 중 하나 이상의 단자와 겹쳐지도록 연장되는 연장부를 구비한다. 본 발명에 의한 이차전지용 분리막 및 이를 포함하는 이차전지를 이용하면, 양극판 및 음극판이 약간 비틀어지더라도 양극단자가 음극판에 접촉되거나 음극단자가 양극판에 접촉되는 현상을 방지할 수 있고, 분리막이 차지하는 부피를 최소화시킴으로써 전지용량을 최대화시킬 수 있으며, 화학반응에 따라 활물질이 성장하더라도 단락 우려를 현저히 감소시킬 수 있다는 장점이 있다.
