Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for producing a high expansion gypsum composition mainly composed of calcined gypsum and a high expansion gypsum composition obtained by the production method. More specifically, for example, a normal dentistry used for the production of a dental prosthesis, which is particularly useful when producing a non-clasp denture excellent in aesthetics, which is one of dental prostheses.
- TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a technique for simply providing a high-expansion gypsum composition that exhibits a significantly higher curing expansion rate (hereinafter also simply referred to as “expansion coefficient”) than a gypsum composition for use, and that can appropriately control the expansion coefficient. .
- a dental prosthesis with a complicated shape corresponding to an individual patient is used, and among these, dentures are widely used.
- a so-called partial denture (hereinafter also simply referred to as “denture”) has a metal attachment called a clasp, and has a structure that is fixed by being hooked on a healthy tooth. For this reason, there is usually an unreasonable problem that a part of the healthy tooth that becomes the ground contact surface of the clasp has to be cut for mounting. In addition, there is a problem that the health of the tooth that should have been healthy is likely to be impaired due to the cutting of the tooth or the clasp on the tooth.
- Non-clasp denture The outline of the production of the “non-clasp denture” will be described later, but during the production, a “fixing part” that can replace the conventional clasp is produced with a synthetic resin, and there is no problem in compatibility and meshing. It is necessary to make a denture. Dentures are used in the oral cavity, where various foods are chewed with a strong force and may be exposed to gastric acid. Therefore, the synthetic resin used at this time is excellent in various properties such as impact resistance. Polycarbonate resin or the like is used. “Non-clasp dentures” use plaster molds, and “fixed portions” of dentures are made of polycarbonate resin or the like, but these synthetic resins have the property of shrinking during curing (polymerization).
- a tooth model having dimensions in consideration of the shrinkage of the synthetic resin that occurs during polymerization is required. Specifically, a replica model adjusted to a size somewhat larger than a plaster dental model made faithfully based on a dental impression taken from a patient at a dental clinic is being made.
- a non-clasp denture when producing a “non-clasp denture”, a polycarbonate resin used as a material for producing a gum part including a “fixing part” instead of a clasp has a large heat shrinkage (0.4 to 0.00). 7%). For this reason, if a non-clasp denture is made by using a plaster dental model made based on an impression actually collected from a patient as it is, it becomes too small and the compatibility becomes poor. This “compatibility” is directly linked to “meshing”, which is an extremely important factor among the characteristics of dentures that are installed and used in the oral cavity having a sensitive sensation. Furthermore, if it is too small, it cannot be repaired and must be remade as having a fatal defect.
- non-clasp dentures a somewhat larger size is used in consideration of resin shrinkage than the plaster dental model produced using the dental impression taken from the patient as described above. It is an extremely important issue how to make a duplicated tooth model (hereinafter, also simply referred to as “replication model”) adjusted to the exact size.
- This replica model is produced by using a high-expansion gypsum composition that exhibits a higher expansion rate than the gypsum material for producing a normal gypsum model.
- the use of the gypsum composition having such a large expansion rate is not limited to the case of producing the above-mentioned “non-clasp denture”.
- a so-called complete denture hereinafter referred to as a denture
- a denture for producing a denture base using a resin. It is also used for the preparation of gypsum molds.
- a case where a “non-clasp denture” is manufactured will be described as an example.
- JP-A-8-10269 Japanese translation of PCT publication No. 2004-532062
- Patent Document 2 it is extremely difficult to use gypsum powder as an additive. Since silicate is contained at a high concentration, there is a problem that the material cost increases before the expansion coefficient is improved. Furthermore, the linear expansion shown in the Examples of Patent Document 2 is 0.3% for the gypsum to which gypsum powder is not added except for the case where the gypsum powder is condensed under special conditions. It is about 0.5 to 0.6% with respect to about%, and even if a large amount of silicate is added, the effect of increasing the large expansion rate is not obtained.
- an object of the present invention is to use an inexpensive additive without using a special material, and easily and effectively, for example, a general-purpose dental plaster, even if the additive is added in a small amount.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of easily obtaining a gypsum material having an expansion coefficient of a material or the like that has been increased to a level that could not be achieved by the prior art.
- the object of the present invention is, for example, by accurately responding to the problem of shrinkage of the synthetic resin to be used, which is also useful for the production of a replication model used when producing a “non-clasp denture”.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of appropriately controlling the expansion rate of a highly expanded gypsum composition, which can enable the production of a “non-clasp denture” having no problem in compatibility.
- the present invention is a production method for producing a gypsum composition having an increased hardening expansion rate, and a dry gypsum composition material in which dihydrate gypsum is contained in calcined gypsum, which is a main component, is dry-type.
- a method for producing a highly expanded gypsum composition comprising the step of co-grinding.
- the powdery gypsum composition material is obtained by externally adding dihydrate gypsum within a range of 0.01 to 3 parts by mass to 100 parts by mass of calcined gypsum; Further contains fused silica, and the fused silica is externally added in a range of 5 to 30 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total amount of calcined gypsum and dihydrate gypsum;
- the gypsum after co-grinding with respect to the value of linear curing expansion in the powdery gypsum composition material before co-grinding measured in accordance with the measurement of linear hardening expansion (1) of JIS T 6605 (2005) Increasing the value of linear cure expansion of the composition by 1.1 to 4.3 times; performing the co-grinding with a dry grinder.
- the present invention is another embodiment of a high expansion gypsum composition obtained by the above-described method for producing a high expansion gypsum composition, and its linear hardening expansion (1) measurement of JIS T 6605 (2005).
- a high-expansion gypsum composition characterized in that the value of linear hardening expansion measured in accordance with the above is 0.45% or more.
- Another embodiment of the present invention is a high-expansion gypsum composition obtained by the above-described method for producing a high-expansion gypsum composition, wherein the value of the specific surface area of the gypsum composition material after co-grinding is 2360 to 5040 cm.
- a high-expansion gypsum composition characterized by 2 / g is provided.
- the above-mentioned high expansion gypsum composition it can be mentioned that it is used for the production of a tooth-type replica model used for forming a dental prosthesis.
- the present invention without using a special material, basically, it is only an inexpensive gypsum material having a configuration in which dihydrate gypsum is used as an additive for calcined gypsum, and the dihydrate used for the additive. Even when the amount of gypsum added is very small, conventional techniques cannot achieve, for example, general-purpose dental gypsum materials surprisingly effectively by simple means of co-grinding these materials. It can be set as the highly expanded gypsum composition which shows the high expansion coefficient improved only to the extent.
- a “non-clasp” that is particularly effective when producing a “non-clasp denture” can be satisfactorily dealt with the shrinkage problem of the resin used and there is no problem in meshing (compatibility). This makes it possible to provide a high-expansion gypsum composition whose expansion rate is designed to be desired.
- the present inventors have conducted detailed studies on various additives, addition methods, and the like for the purpose of increasing the expansion rate of the gypsum material.
- the addition and mixing means it was basically possible to add dihydrate gypsum to the main component calcined gypsum without using special materials, and the addition amount was small.
- the present inventors have found that the expansion coefficient of the gypsum material can be remarkably increased, and have reached the present invention.
- a powdery gypsum composition material obtained by adding dihydrate gypsum to calcined gypsum, which is the main component is a very simple method of co-grinding dry using a dry grinding crusher such as a ball mill.
- a dry grinding crusher such as a ball mill.
- the expansion rate can be increased.
- the grinding and grinding machine refers to a grinding machine that uses a medium called a medium to pulverize a substance by friction or compression.
- the present inventors have conventionally used fused silica, which is known as an additive for increasing the expansion coefficient, as an additive constituting the powdery gypsum composition material used in the present invention. It has been found that the following new effects are manifested in addition to the effects described above. Specifically, for example, when a replica model is produced using an agar impression material, it is possible to prevent cracks from being generated in the replica model and to improve the surface state of the replica model.
- the expansion coefficient which is a problem in the present invention means a curing expansion coefficient (expansion coefficient) when the calcined gypsum as a main component is cured, as described above.
- the hardening expansion coefficient of the calcined gypsum for a normal dental model is about 0.3%
- the high expansion gypsum composition in the present invention means a gypsum composition exhibiting a higher expansion coefficient.
- gypsum model is made of a gypsum material mainly composed of calcined gypsum. This plaster dental model is of a size that matches the patient's dental pattern copied with the impression material.
- this gypsum dental mold model is set in a flask, and an agar or silicon impression material is poured into the flask. After the impression material has solidified, the gypsum dental mold model is taken out and molded. A mold (impression) made of material is produced. Furthermore, the highly expanded gypsum composition is poured into the obtained mold to produce a replica model of the previously formed gypsum tooth model. At this time, since the impression material such as agar or silicon used for forming the mold has elasticity, it is sufficient for expansion generated when the highly expanded gypsum composition poured into the mold is solidified (cured). Can respond (follow). As a result, the resulting replica model made of a highly expanded gypsum composition is slightly larger in size than the gypsum model that faithfully copied the patient's tooth pattern.
- a replica model that is slightly larger in size than the gypsum model of the size that matches the patient's tooth shape is essential when creating a “non-clasp denture”. Become a thing. In this case, it is necessary to appropriately determine the degree of enlargement of the replica model in consideration of the shrinkage of the resin that forms the “fixed portion” that plays the same role as the clasp using the replica model.
- a technique capable of obtaining a highly expanded gypsum composition that achieves a high curing expansion rate by simple means and that the improvement in the expansion rate can be accurately and appropriately controlled. The purpose is that.
- a gap for pouring the resin which is necessary for forming a gum part including a “fixed part” instead of the clasp with a resin such as polycarbonate resin, etc.
- a gum part (hereinafter simply referred to as a gum part) including a “fixed part” instead of a clasp is formed on the replica model by using a wax that is easily dissolved in hot water by hand.
- resin-made or ceramic-made dentures (hereinafter simply referred to as “dentures”) are arranged on the portion of the replica model where the teeth are missing, and in this state, a gum is made using wax.
- a gypsum material is poured into the lower side of the flask, and the above-obtained denture and a gum part formed of wax are provided on a plaster that has solidified to some extent. Place the model, and in this state, install the pipe to form the runway that leads to the wax part. Then, after the gypsum material is solidified, a gypsum separating agent is applied so that the top and bottom can be easily separated. Thereafter, the plaster is poured from above and the upper side of the flask is covered, and the replica model is completely buried in the plaster.
- the gypsum solidified together with the flask is poured into hot water, and only the wax is dissolved and removed.
- a plaster mold in which a denture is arranged inside the flask and a gap for pouring resin around the denture is formed. Since the gap formed by the plaster mold is provided with a runner leading to the gap in advance, the resin melted at high temperature and high pressure by the resin pouring machine is used in the gap. You can drive in. By doing in this way, the resin melted without gaps is filled in the gaps.
- the high-expansion gypsum composition provided by the present invention is extremely useful for the production of a replication model having a desired size that is slightly larger than the actual size described above.
- materials used in the production method of the present invention and methods for adding the additive will be described in detail.
- the powdery gypsum composition material used in the production method of the present invention is a fused silica which essentially includes calcined gypsum as a main component and dihydrate gypsum added thereto, and is added as necessary.
- Calcined gypsum is calcium sulfate hemihydrate [CaSO 4 ⁇ 1 / 2H 2 O] and anhydrous [CaSO 4 ], ⁇ -type hemihydrate gypsum, ⁇ -type hemihydrate gypsum and type III anhydrous Examples thereof include gypsum powder or a mixture thereof.
- any of those listed above can be used in the present invention, but it is more preferable to use ⁇ -type hemihydrate gypsum in view of the strength of the replication model to be formed. Since calcined gypsum reacts with water and easily changes to dihydrate gypsum, the slurry kneaded with water is quickly consolidated when poured into a flask or the like. For this reason, it is widely used in the preparation of the above-described tooth-type gypsum model, and those prepared for dentistry are commercially available.
- the high-expansion gypsum composition targeted by the present invention may be the same as the material for forming the dental plaster model, except that its curing expansion rate is high. Gypsum can be used.
- the hardening expansion coefficient (expansion coefficient) of the calcined gypsum for a dental model currently marketed is about 0.3%.
- a gypsum composition material containing the above calcined gypsum as a main component and containing at least dihydrate gypsum is used.
- dihydrate gypsum is particularly effective among various additives. Details of this point will be described later.
- Dihydrate gypsum is calcium sulfate dihydrate [CaSO 4 ⁇ 2H 2 O], and examples include natural gypsum, synthetic gypsum, and by-product gypsum obtained as a by-product of various chemical processes. Any of those obtained by coarsely pulverizing can be used. According to the present invention, this dihydrate gypsum is used in an extremely small addition amount, and a simple method of devising a method of pulverizing and mixing calcined gypsum and dihydrate gypsum is carried out using various additives. With the conventional technology, it is possible to obtain a highly expanded gypsum composition that realizes a high expansion rate that could not be achieved with such a small addition amount.
- dihydrate gypsum within a range of 0.01 to 3 parts by mass (outside%, 0.01 to 3% by mass) with respect to 100 parts by mass of calcined gypsum. Although it depends on the desired expansion coefficient, more preferably, 0.1 to 2 parts by mass of dihydrate gypsum (outside%, 0.1 to 2% by mass) with respect to 100 parts by mass of calcined gypsum, What is necessary is just to use dihydrate gypsum externally added in the range of 0.1 to 1 part by mass (outside%, 0.1 to 1% by mass) per 100 parts by mass of gypsum.
- the effect of increasing the expansion coefficient is recognized by adding more dihydrate gypsum as an additive, but the compression strength decreases when the addition amount exceeds 2% by mass. Tend to.
- its compressive strength is also an important characteristic. It is preferable to add at.
- fused silica In addition to the above-mentioned dihydrate gypsum, fused silica (also called silica glass, fused quartz, quartz glass) can be added to the gypsum composition material used in the present invention. According to the study by the present inventors, the high-expansion gypsum composition provided by the present invention is blended with fused silica, as described above, when a copy model of gypsum poured into an agar impression material is produced. In addition, it is possible to prevent cracks and surface roughness of the model that may occur in the copied model.
- fused silica is known to be able to increase the expansion coefficient by being added to a gypsum composition, and can contribute to swelling by absorbing water when producing a copy model.
- the inventors of the present invention further used a fused silica as an additive to prevent cracks occurring in the copy model and roughening of the model surface. It is thought that the strain generated during the growth process was alleviated, and as a result, the generation of cracks could be suppressed.
- the specific amount of fused silica added for the above purpose is appropriately determined in consideration of the amount of dihydrate gypsum added.
- the amount of fused silica added is 1% by mass with respect to the total amount of calcined gypsum and dihydrate gypsum in terms of the presence or absence of cracks in the replica model and the occurrence of surface roughness of the replica model.
- the amount of external addition was too small, and the effect was not fully recognized. On the other hand, for example, it was confirmed that if the external addition was performed in an amount of 5% by mass or more with respect to the total amount of calcined gypsum and dihydrate gypsum, the above-described remarkable effect was sufficiently obtained.
- the upper limit is 30 mass parts (outside%) with respect to 100 mass parts of total amount of calcined gypsum and dihydrate gypsum. 30% by mass) is preferable, and about 20 parts by mass (outer% is 20% by mass) is more preferable.
- a feature of the method for producing a highly expanded gypsum composition of the present invention is that the powdery gypsum composition material containing the above-described components is co-ground in a dry manner.
- the expansion of the cured material after co-grinding I found that the rate would increase dramatically.
- the amount of additive in that case can be significantly reduced.
- the remarkable improvement effect of a hardening expansion rate was acquired especially when the material which added dihydrate gypsum to calcined gypsum was co-ground among various additives.
- the present inventors have explained the reason for this because the fine dihydrate gypsum produced by co-grinding becomes a crystal nucleus when calcined gypsum is hydrated into dihydrate gypsum, one by one. It is considered that a large expansion coefficient was obtained due to the growth of needle-like crystals. According to the study by the present inventors, the crystal nuclei of fine dihydrate gypsum are co-ground, so that the dihydrate gypsum is separately pulverized separately and then added to and mixed with calcined gypsum to maintain higher activity. Will be able to.
- Whether or not the material is co-ground in the present invention is greater than that before co-pulverization by 100 cm 2 / g or more in BSA value. If it is, it can be inferred that the co-grinding performed in the present invention is performed.
- pulverization by a ball mill that pulverizes using a medium such as a metal ball or a ceramic ball having a diameter of about 10 to 50 mm is preferable.
- the pulverization time varies depending on the amount of the pulverized product, the pulverization equipment, the material, size, weight, etc. of the media used for pulverization. In, the remarkable effect was certainly obtained.
- a ceramic ball having a diameter of 30 mm was used as a medium and co-ground with a ball mill. As a result, the expansion rate was able to increase markedly.
- linear hardening expansion in the gypsum composition material before co-grinding measured in accordance with the measurement of linear hardening expansion (1) of JIS T 6605 (2005), after co-grinding.
- the value of linear hardening expansion of the gypsum composition could be increased by 1.1 to 4.3 times. More specifically, a linear hardening expansion value of 0.45% or more, and a linear hardening expansion value of 1.0% or more could be obtained. This point will be described in detail with reference to examples.
- the high-expansion gypsum composition of the present invention is, in addition to the above-mentioned components, within a range that does not impair the intended purpose, for example, a curing regulator such as a curing accelerator or a curing retarder, and expansion suppression.
- Additives such as an agent, a dispersant, and a pigment can be appropriately added. These additives can be co-ground before the powdery gypsum composition material, i.e., together with the powdered gypsum composition material, and after the powdery gypsum composition material is co-ground, i.e., the high expansion gypsum composition. It can also be added separately to the product.
- ⁇ Co-grinding conditions> a ball mill having a mill volume of 13 L was used as a grinding device for co-grinding the gypsum composition material.
- the pulverization conditions were as follows. Ceramics with a ball diameter of 30 mm were used for the balls, the weight of the balls was 6 kg, and the gypsum composition material to be co-ground was 3 kg of calcined gypsum ( ⁇ -type hemihydrate gypsum). Co-grinding was performed.
- Example 1 and Comparative Example ⁇ Examination of the effect of co-grinding calcined gypsum and dihydrate gypsum-Part 1>
- dihydrate gypsum was added to calcined gypsum in the same amount and mixed by hand (both samples).
- a comparative sample that was not crushed was prepared. And about each of these samples, the hardening expansion coefficient was measured with the following method, respectively.
- the gypsum slurry thus prepared is poured into a mold to form a gypsum solid body, and the compressive strength after 1 hour and the curing expansion rate after 2 hours are measured by the following methods, respectively. did.
- Compressive strength test Based on the compressive strength test of JIS T 6605 (2005), it measured by the following method. First, a cylindrical mold having a height of 40 mm and an inner diameter of 20 mm is prepared at the center of the glass plate, and the gypsum slurry is poured into the mold. Next, the glass plate is pressed against the upper surface before the gloss disappears from the surface of the gypsum slurry. After 45 minutes from the start of kneading, the sample is removed from the mold and stored in an environment at a temperature of 23 ⁇ 2 ° C. and a relative humidity of 50 ⁇ 10%. Then, 60 minutes after the start of kneading, the compressive strength was measured using a compressive strength tester (loading speed 5 kN / min).
- the amount of dihydrate gypsum added to the calcined gypsum in the present invention depends on its use, but when used for the production of “non-clasp denture”, the compressive strength is taken into account, and 100 parts by mass of calcined gypsum It was found that it was more preferable to add dihydrate gypsum within a range of 2 parts by mass (2% by mass) or less.
- Example 2 ⁇ Examination of the effect of co-grinding with calcined gypsum and dihydrate gypsum-Part 2> 3 kg of calcined gypsum and 6 g of dihydrate gypsum were co-ground for a predetermined time under the same pulverization conditions as in Example 1, and for the obtained gypsum composition, specific surface area and value of linear hardening expansion [JIS T 6605 (2005) [Measured in accordance with measurement of linear hardening expansion (1)].
- Table 3 shows the results obtained by conducting the above test.
- the evaluation was carried out in comparison with the case of using a powdery gypsum composition to which no fused silica was added, but B was evaluated as one that did not differ from the composition to which no fused silica was added by visual observation.
- the case where the occurrence of cracks was clearly reduced was evaluated as A, and similarly the surface roughness was improved. was clearly recognized as A.
- the high expansion gypsum composition provided in the present invention can realize a high expansion coefficient that could not be achieved by conventional gypsum, and also uses an inexpensive material to appropriately adjust the expansion coefficient. Therefore, by using this, it is possible to create a more precise model, such as a complex-shaped dental prosthesis that is required to be used in dental treatment. Since it can be done easily and economically, it is expected to be widely used.

Abstract
