Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil pédagogique et un procédé pédagogique pour apprendre à lire à un élève. Une représentation d'un alphabet sensiblement raccourci est accompagnée d'une pluralité de phrases écrites composées d'une variété de mots construits uniquement à partir de lettres de l'alphabet raccourci. Une progression de représentations ayant des phrases construites de façon similaire suit la première. Ces alphabets raccourcis établis constituent une représentation de l'alphabet complet. Une clé de dictionnaire illustrée est fournie à titre de liste d'au moins certains des mots construits à côté d'un dessin à titre d'exemple de chacun des mots listés. Les phrases forment une histoire au moins rudimentaire. Les lettres de l'alphabet sont représentées dans une phrase au moins partiellement non alphabétique. L'invention est appropriée pour enseigner une seconde langue. La séquence de lettres est basée sur une similarité phonétique entre les deux langues. L'invention concerne également une liste de mots apparentés dans les deux langues et un alphabet illustré ayant des lettres représentées par une représentation visuelle des mots apparentés pertinents.
