- the present invention relates to a system for reducing consumption (SRC) of energy of motor vehicles by the automatic and secure operation of their kinetic energy.
- the system according to the invention provides a solution to this problem. It comprises, according to a first characteristic, an accelerator position sensor which makes it possible to distinguish two cases: a) in situations where the accelerator position sensor indicates a constant level, down or the minimum level, the vehicle speed is either sufficient or too high. In these situations, the SRC management calculator triggers the following operations:

- the management computer of the SRC (2) can no longer trigger the operations mentioned in the previous paragraph until the accelerator position sensor (1) does not indicate a drop in level.
- the SRC is switched off by its manual control on the instrument panel (13) (for example, in extreme conditions or for aggressive driving);
- the speed sensor (8) indicates a speed higher than the maximum level allowed for the active gear ratio, which level is set according to the characteristics of the vehicle;
- the engine speed sensor (4) indicates a speed higher than the maximum permitted level for the active gear ratio, which level is set according to the characteristics of the vehicle;
- the steering position sensor (14) indicates a rotation greater than a measurement inversely proportional to the speed of the vehicle. This measurement is calculated by the management computer of the SRC (2) according to the characteristics of the vehicle;
- the system according to the invention is intended to reduce the energy consumption of motor vehicles.
