The device for facilitating the rotation of bicycle pedals at moderate and high speeds comprises a cam fastened to the axis of rotation of a crank arm, a bearing designed in such a way that the outer race thereof is capable of interacting with said cam, and a spring, the first end of which is connected to a fastening element, affixed to the chain stay of the frame. The bearing is installed in a housing and is covered by a plate. The housing with the bearing and covering plate is fastened to a lever, one end of which is connected to the second end of the spring, while the other end is pivotally connected to a fastening element, affixed to the down tube of the frame. The device additionally comprises a switch, pivotally fastened to a fastening element, affixed to the seat stay of the frame and holding onto a spring. Moreover, the switch comprises a hook element for hooking onto a securing element fastened to the lever.

Устройство содержит кулачок (1), закрепленный на оси вращения шатуна (2), подшипник (3), выполненный с возможностью взаимодействия внешнего кольца с кулачком (1), и пружину (4), первый конец которой соединен с крепежным элементом (5), зафиксированным на нижнем пере (6) рамы. Подшипник (3) установлен в корпусе (7) и закрыт пластиной (8). Корпус (7) с подшипником (3) и закрывающей пластиной (8) закреплены на рычаге (9), один конец которого соединен со вторым концом пружины (4), а другой конец шарнирно соединен с крепежным элементом (10), зафиксированным на нижней трубе (11) рамы. Устройство дополнительно содержит переключатель (12), шарнирно закрепленный на крепежном элементе (13), зафиксированном на подседельной трубе (14) рамы, и удерживающую пружину (15), закрепленную одним концом на крепежном элементе (13), зафиксированном на подседельной трубе (14) рамы, а другим - на переключателе (12).
