  • the present invention relates generally to keyboard and electronic display mounting systems, including mobile data terminals for use in in- vehicle computing and fleet computing, and more particularly to ruggedized mobile data terminal mounting apparatus, and still more particularly to a ruggedized mobile data terminal mounting device for a mobile digital computer having an integrated tablet computer docking station easel and retractable keyboard clamp and slide.

  • the linear opposing ends of the tracks are orthogonally disposed in the plane of mount 300.
  • Alternative pivoting means include a simple rotary connector with rotation limit stop to prevent the display from rotating at least beyond a full circle, and thus twist and hardwire connections to the multi-pin docking fixture.

Abstract

Selon l'invention, un dispositif supporte un clavier séparé et un affichage électronique à écran plat, tel un ordinateur à écran tactile de tablette, sur un élément cintré commun. Le second support de montage accepte un moniteur d'écran plat, un ordinateur à tablette ou un boîtier généralement planaire protégeant celui-ci, et comprend de préférence un connecteur de liaison pour produire une connexion de signal entre le moniteur et le clavier. Un boîtier protecteur pour un dispositif d'affichage de tablette est hermétiquement scellé pour empêcher l'inflammation accidentelle du gaz inflammable par une décharge statique.
