- step S22 If it is determined in step S22 that the locomotive ID of the locomotive on which it is mounted is the minimum value among the locomotive ID values of all locomotives (step S22; Yes), the locomotive is the reference engine. Since it is a car, the transmission repeater control device 35 sends a first direction confirmation command (reference locomotive forward confirmation command) from the front of the locomotive (step S23).
- a first direction confirmation command reference locomotive forward confirmation command
- the transmission repeater of the locomotive 11-5 is used.
- the control device 35 sends a first direction confirmation command (reference locomotive forward confirmation command) CMD21 from the second trunk transmission transmitter 33 that is in front of the locomotive 11-5.
- the transmission repeater control device 35 sends a second direction confirmation command CMD22 from the rear of the locomotive (step S23).
- the side receiving the first direction confirmation command CMD21 faces the front direction of the reference locomotive, and the side receiving the second direction confirmation command CMD22 is the reference. It is possible to grasp that the locomotive is facing in the rear direction.
- step S22 determines whether or not a first direction confirmation command has been received (step S25).

- FCS frame check sequence
- step S25 If it is determined in step S25 that the first direction confirmation command CMD21 is received (step S25; Yes), the transmission repeater control device 35 transfers the first direction confirmation command CMD21 (step S26), and It is determined whether or not a first direction confirmation command has been received from the front of the locomotive (step S27).
- the first direction confirmation command is received from the front of the locomotive, the first direction confirmation command is transferred to the locomotive connected to the rear, and when received from the rear, the first direction confirmation command is connected to the front. Transfer to the locomotive.
- step S27 when the first direction confirmation command CMD21 is received from the front of the locomotive (step S27; Yes), the locomotive that has received the first direction confirmation command from the front is Therefore, the transmission repeater control device 35 determines that the direction is opposite to the reference locomotive (step S32).
- step S27 When the first direction confirmation command CMD21 is received from the rear of the locomotive in the determination in step S27 (step S27; Yes), the locomotive that has received the first direction confirmation command CMD21 from the front is the front of the reference locomotive. Since the directions match, the transmission repeater control device 35 determines that the direction is the same as the reference locomotive (step S28).
- step S25 If it is determined in step S25 that the first direction confirmation command CMD21 has not been received (step S25; No), the transmission repeater control device 35 installed in the locomotive other than the reference locomotive is in the second direction. It is determined whether or not a confirmation command CMD22 has been received (step S29).
- step S29 the transmission repeater control device 35 transfers the second direction confirmation command CMD22 (step S30), and It is determined whether or not the second direction confirmation command CMD22 is received from the front of the locomotive (step S31).
- the second direction confirmation command CMD22 is transferred to the locomotive connected to the rear when the second direction confirmation command CMD22 is received from the front of the locomotive, and forward when it is received from the rear. Transfer to the locomotive connected to the. Specifically, since the locomotive 11-4 receives the second direction confirmation command CMD22 from the locomotive 11-5 connected to the front, the second direction confirmation command CMD22 is connected to the rear. Will be transferred to the existing locomotive 11-3. Similarly, since the locomotive 11-3 receives the second direction confirmation command CMD22 from the locomotive 11-4 connected to the rear, the second direction confirmation command CMD22 is connected to the engine connected to the front. It will be transferred to the car 11-2.
- step S31 when the second direction confirmation command is received from the front of the locomotive (step S31; Yes), the locomotive that has received the second direction confirmation command from the front has the reference locomotive and the forward direction. Since they match, the transmission repeater control device 35 determines that it is facing the same direction as the reference locomotive (step S28).
- step S31 When the second direction confirmation command is received from the rear of the locomotive in the determination of step S31 (step S31; No), the locomotive that has received the second direction confirmation command from the rear is Since the directions are opposite, the transmission repeater control device 35 determines that the direction is opposite to the reference locomotive (step S32).
- FIGS. 21-1 to 21-5 are explanatory diagrams (part 1) to (part 5) of the direction confirmation processing.
- the transmission repeater control device 35 of the locomotive 11-1 receives the second direction confirmation command CMD22 from the rear direction, and therefore determines that the direction is opposite to the reference locomotive. Become. Further, since the transmission repeater control device 35 of the locomotive 11-2 receives the second direction confirmation command CMD22 from the front direction, it is determined that the transmission repeater control device 35 faces the same direction as the reference locomotive.
- the transmission repeater control device 35 of the locomotive 11-3 receives the second direction confirmation command CMD22 from the rear direction, it is determined that the transmission repeater control device 35 faces in the reverse direction to the reference locomotive. Further, since the transmission repeater control device 35 of the locomotive 11-4 receives the second direction confirmation command CMD22 from the front direction, it is determined that the transmission repeater control device 35 faces the same direction as the reference locomotive.

Abstract
