Abstract

Selon l'invention, un système d'extraction d'eau de gaz d'échappement comprend un composant évaporateur dans une unité de réfrigération à absorption-diffusion (DAR). Le système comprend aussi une conduite d'entrée de gaz d'échappement comprenant une ouverture d'entrée permettant de recevoir le gaz d'échappement d'une source de gaz d'échappement. La conduite d'entrée de gaz d'échappement fonctionne comme une source de chaleur pour alimenter le DAR. Un échangeur de chaleur évaporateur est raccordé de façon à recevoir le gaz d'échappement de la conduite d'entrée de gaz d'échappement. L'échangeur de chaleur évaporateur est placé de façon à produire un échange de chaleur entre le composant évaporateur et le gaz d'échappement qui refroidit le gaz d'échappement en dessous du point de rosée. Un récipient de collecte d'eau reçoit l'eau du gaz d'échappement se condensant pendant l'échange de chaleur avec le composant évaporateur.
