Abstract

The invention relates to a portable automatic compressing machine for producing technified adobe bricks or other compacted elements, produced using a pressure of between 1200 and 2900 psi and having measurements of 30 x 20 x 10 and 30 x 10 x 10 centimetres. The machine can operate manually or automatically, producing between 120 and 400 technified adobe bricks per hour depending on the regulated power of the machine and the quality of the selected soil. The machine comprises a single compression chamber and is consequently simpler, more efficient and requires a smaller investment. The single chamber is more than sufficient to produce technified adobe bricks and other compacted elements. The hydraulic system comprises five cylinders for compressing, removing and moving casings, which are controlled by two pilot valves that are mounted with outer directional valves and that operate by means of electrical pulses. The electric/electronic solid state system is based on a computer and/or a programmable electronic relay. The machine also includes a wheel axle with a rim at each end, such that it is easily manoeuvrable and can access steep terrain typical of rugged landscapes. The weight of the machine is reduced significantly and it weighs at most 850 kilograms without fluids.
