- the prior art includes a "rod joint" known from German patent specification, European Patent No. PCT/DE96/00225, the joint being used as a structural element to support a glazed wall or a glazed roof.
- This joint contains a plurality of rods in radial configuration, the bevelled butting faces of which are pressed against each other and interconnected by means of butt disks and screws. At least one butt disk of the joint has seats for sinking the screw heads whereas the butt disk itself and the heads of individual screws are sunk so that the top surfaces of individual rods form the same contact area of the glazed wall or the glazed roof.
- the construction node contains the connectors in radial configuration for beam fixing, the elements for tying two adjacent connectors, as well as the connectors located in the hollows on the rod butting faces.
- the construction node is distinguished in that, preferably, the connectors are U-shaped whereas their bottom is composed of at least two bows which are direct reflections of each other relative to the connector symmetry axis, the said bows being located alternatively one under the other, whereas circular segments of the bows of adjacent connectors are located on a shared axis which is simultaneously the axis of the tying element, and the segments constitute a shared seat of the said element.
- the bows of adjacent node connectors as used herein contact each other by their butting faces. Furthermore, the node as used herein is completed by the covers which determine the angle position of the tying elements and connectors with regard to each other.
