Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft einen Asynchronmotor für eine Unterwasserpumpe mit einem Stator und einem Rotor, der als ein Käfigläufer ausgebildet ist, wobei der Luftspalt zwischen Rotor (12) und Stator (11) zumindest teilweise mit einem Ferrofluid (20) gefüllt ist. Ein weiterer Teilaspekt der Erfindung betrifft eine Unterwasserpumpe mit einem derartigen Asynchronmotor zum Antrieb der Pumpe.
