- the SSID is an information element included in the existing probe request message.
- the information that can be included in the SSID field of the SSID in the existing mechanism includes: The specified network name (for example, the wifi network deployed by China Unicom can be written to "China Unicom") , specify the ID of the network (such as the wifi network deployed by China Unicom can be written to "46001"), the name of a wifi network (such as KFC-based hotspots can be named "KFC”), wildcards ("*" for any network ).
- the identifier information of the home network of the terminal included in the SSID field of the SSID may be the name of the designated network, or the ID of the specified network.
- the SSID includes the SSID name and the SSID length in addition to the SSID field. As shown in Table 1 below, it is a schematic diagram of a format of an SSID in the probe request message, where the identifier information included in the SSID field is the character information of the home network of the terminal: Table 1
- the character name of the home network of the terminal is set in the SSID field, that is, the character name indicates the end
- the network where the terminal is located for example, if the home network of the terminal is China Unicom's network, the SSID field is set to "China Uni C om" as shown in Table 1 above.
- the setting is further used to determine that when the home network of the terminal has a roaming agreement with the network where the AP is located, the AP allows the AP to reply the probe response message to the terminal.
- Table 2 it is a schematic diagram of the format of another SSID in the probe request message, where the identifier information carried in the SSID domain is the ID information of the home network of the terminal: Table 2
- the network ID of the home network of the terminal is set in the SSID field, that is, the network ID indicates the network where the terminal is located.
- the SSID field is set to the above table. 2 "46001" shown.
- the definition of the network ID is defined by the IMSI (International Mobi Le Subscriber Identification Number), which includes a 5-digit number, that is, the protocol ID includes the MCC (Mobi le Country Code), MNC (Mobi le Network Code) and random value, where the MCC identifies the country to which the terminal belongs, consisting of three digits (for example, China is 460), and the MN identifies the mobile network PLMN to which the terminal belongs ( Publ ic Land Mobi le Network, public land mobile network), consists of two digits (for example, China Unicom's digital shared cellular mobile communication network is 01).
- Step 202 Read the SSID in the probe request message, and obtain the identifier information of the home network of the terminal in the SSID.
- all the APs in the network receive the probe request message sent by the terminal. For each AP, it reads the character information carried in the SSID field in the probe request message, that is, reads the SSID in Table 1. According to the character "China Unicom", the domain of the terminal is the network of China Unicom. As shown in Table 2, all APs in the network receive the probe request message sent by the terminal. For each AP, it reads the network ID carried in the SSID field in the probe request message, that is, reads the SSID in Table 2. According to the ID "46001", the home network of the terminal is the network of China Unicom.
- Step 203 Determine, according to the identifier information, whether the AP belongs to the home network of the terminal, and if yes, perform step 205; Then, step 204 is performed.
- the AP obtains the identity information of the home network of the terminal, it is required to determine whether the network where the AP is located is the same network as the home network of the terminal. For example, when the home network of the terminal is the network of China Unicom, the AP needs to determine whether it also belongs to the network of China Unicom.
- Step 204 Compare whether the network indicated by the identifier information and the network where the AP is located have a roaming agreement, and if yes, execute step 205; otherwise, perform step 206.

- the network identification information indicates that the network where the terminal is located has a roaming agreement with the network where the AP is located. If the network is not found, the network where the terminal is located does not have a roaming agreement with the network where the AP is located.
- the AP may reply the probe response to the terminal after satisfying other preset conditions.
- Step 206 The AP prohibits replying the probe response message to the terminal, and ends the current process.
- the AP does not reply to the probe response message.
- the terminal does not receive the probe response message sent by the AP, thus avoiding that the terminal does not sign.
- the probe response message replied by the AP of the network roaming protocol is processed, which improves the speed at which the terminal discovers the AP.
- the SSID of the probe request message includes the identifier information of the home network of the terminal, so that all the APs in the network do not need to transmit the probe response message to the terminal, but can ensure that The AP responding to the probe response message in the network where the terminal is located, which has the same network roaming protocol. Therefore, the network resource is saved; and the detection response message of the AP replying to the AP that does not sign the network roaming protocol is avoided, thereby reducing the time for the terminal to discover the AP and correspondingly increasing the network access speed of the terminal.
