Abstract

Es wird Ölreinigungsvorrichtung eines Motorölkreislaufs einer Brennkraftmaschine insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeugs mit einer Zentrifuge (10) zur Entfernung von Partikeln aus dem Öl beschrieben. Die Zentrifuge (10) umfasst ein Zentrifugengehäuse (12), welches wenigstens einen Einlass (24) für das von Partikeln zu befreiende Öl und wenigstens einen Ablauf (46) für das von Partikeln befreite Öl aufweist. Das Zentrifugengehäuse (12) umfasst einen Gehäusetopf (14), der einen trennbaren Gehäusedeckel (16) aufweist und in dem ein Rotor (22) um eine Rotationsachse drehbar angeordnet ist. Der Gehäusedeckel (16) verschließt im Einbauzustand der Zentrifuge (10) den Gehäusetopf (14) räumlich unten. Der Ablauf (46) führt durch eine Umfangswand des Gehäusetopfs (14). Die Oberseite (56) des Gehäusedeckels (16) ist an ihrem radial äußeren Rand (63) etwa auf Höhe oder oberhalb einer unteren Begrenzung (64) einer Ablauföffnung (66) des Ablaufs (46) in der radial inneren Umfangsseite (60) der Umfangswand des Gehäusetopfs (14) angeordnet.
