Abstract

L'invention concerne un sèche-linge à tambour rotatif (1) comprenant une enveloppe extérieure (2) ayant une paroi avant (2a) et une paroi arrière (2b), un tambour pivotable (3) qui est structuré pour recevoir le linge à sécher et est fixé de manière rotative axialement à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe (2), et un générateur d'air chaud (6) structuré pour faire circuler un flux d'air chaud à travers le tambour pivotable (3); le tambour pivotable (3) comprenant un corps tubulaire sensiblement cylindrique (3) ayant une paroi arrière (9) reliée de façon rigide à celui-ci, le corps tubulaire (3) étant agencé de telle sorte que son bord avant (3f) est couplé de manière rotative axialement à une cloison avant (13) et de telle sorte que la paroi arrière (9) est couplée de façon sensiblement étanche et rotative axialement à la paroi arrière (2b) de l'enveloppe (2) avec l'interposition d'un joint d'étanchéité arrière (12); la paroi arrière (2b) de l'enveloppe extérieure (2) comprenant : une cloison de support orientée sensiblement verticalement (14) ayant une partie centrale (15) qui est sensiblement alignée avec/face à une partie intérieure perméable à l'air (9c) de la paroi arrière (9) du tambour pivotable (3); et un élément de support de joint (16) qui est fixé/attaché à la face intérieure de la cloison de support (14) de façon à être interposée entre la partie centrale (15) de ladite cloison de support (14) et la paroi arrière (9) du corps tubulaire (3), et qui a une ouverture traversante centrale (16a) sensiblement alignée avec/face à la partie intérieure perméable à l'air (9c) de ladite paroi arrière (9) et reliée fluidiquement au générateur d'air chaud (6); le sèche-linge à tambour rotatif (1) étant caractérisé en ce que ladite cloison de support (14) est reliée fluidiquement au générateur d'air chaud (6), et ledit élément de support de joint (16) comprend une rainure annulaire (16b) qui fait face à la paroi arrière (9) du corps tubulaire (3), encercle l'ouverture traversante centrale (16a) de l'élément de support de joint (16) et est façonné/dimensionné de façon à loger le joint d'étanchéité arrière (12) et à maintenir ledit joint d'étanchéité arrière (12) en appui contre la paroi arrière (9) du corps tubulaire (3).
