- ID for example, a 10-digit numerical value, hereinafter referred to as ID.
- the ID of the pump 2A is stored in the storage unit 15 of the measuring instrument 1A
- the ID of the pump 2B is stored in the storage unit 15 of the measuring instrument 1B.
- IDs of the pump 2A and the pump 2B are attached to the respective surfaces by, for example, a seal.
- ID of measuring instrument 1A and measuring instrument 1B is also affixed to the respective surfaces by, for example, a seal.
- This pairing is a combination in which the measuring device 1A and the pump 2A, the measuring device 1B and the pump 2B are paired for the first time, and is always performed only once before performing wireless communication. After this pairing, communication is performed only with each other's pair. Since this communication method is a general technique standardized by Bluetooth, for example, detailed description is omitted.
- the important data refers to information related to drug administration of the pump 2, and includes, for example, insulin dose information (an example of drug dose information), blood glucose level information (drugs) for calculating the insulin dose 1), the name of the owner of the pump 2, and the address (an example of personal information) correspond to this.
- normal data is information other than important data (drug administration information), for example, device setting information. Specifically, it is setting information such as time setting, display change, and log display of the pump 2.
- the control unit 11 of the measuring instrument 1 When this normal data is wirelessly communicated from the measuring instrument 1 to the pump 2, the control unit 11 of the measuring instrument 1 outputs the first output that reaches the transmission output of the communication unit 14 over a wide range (for example, 1 m), as in the past. To communicate. Thereby, the convenience of the measurer is improved.
- the blood glucose level of the patient is measured by the measurement unit 12 of the measuring instrument 1 (step S1), and the dose of insulin corresponding to the blood glucose level is calculated by the dose calculation unit 13. Then, as shown in FIG. 5, the control unit 11 displays “Insulin dosage 30 units: transmitted to the pump” on the display unit 6 as communication information.
- the unit is a unit representing the dose of insulin.
- the control unit 11 takes out the 10-digit ID of the pump 2 stored in the storage unit 15 and, for example, displays the lower 3 digits on the display unit 6 as “pump number:***** ”is displayed. Accordingly, the user can confirm the pair by comparing the ID displayed on the display unit 6 with the ID described on the seal of his pump 2.
- control unit 11 sets the transmission output of the communication unit 14 of the measuring instrument 1 as the first output reaching a wide range (for example, 1 m) (step S2).
- the control unit 11 determines whether or not the data to be communicated is important data. Since the insulin dose to be transmitted this time is insulin dose information, it is determined as important data (step S3).
- control unit 11 determines whether or not the blood glucose level sensor 8 is still mounted on the sensor mounting unit 7 (step S4).
- the display unit 6 displays “Please remove the sensor” to prompt the user to remove the blood glucose level sensor 8 from the sensor mounting unit 7, and the blood glucose level sensor 8 is removed. (Step S5).
- step S6 After confirming that the blood glucose level sensor 8 has been removed from the sensor mounting portion 7, in order to communicate the insulin dose (drug administration information) to the pump 2, the control unit 11 transmits the output of the communication unit 14. Is switched to a second output smaller than the first output used for normal data communication. That is, switching to proximity communication is performed (step S6).
- the control unit 11 displays a message on the display unit 6 as “Please bring the measuring device closer to the pump”, and brings the measuring device 1 closer to the pump 2 to the user. Encourage Also at this time, the control unit 11 displays the last three digits of the ID of the pump 2 on the display unit 6 as “pump number:******”. The user can confirm the pair by comparing the ID displayed on the display unit 6 with the ID described on the seal of his pump 2 (step S7).
- the communication unit 14 detects the pump 2 that is paired with itself when the user brings the measuring instrument 1 close to the pump 2. Specifically, communication is performed to communicate with the pump 2 that is paired with itself, and communication is enabled when a predetermined reaction is received from the pump 2 that is the pair. This detection is performed for 10 seconds, for example. The user brings the measuring instrument 1 close to the pump 2 within 10 seconds (step S8).
- the control unit 11 When the pump 2 cannot be detected, as shown in FIG. 7, the control unit 11 “displays the pump” together with the error display “insulin administration error” on the display unit 6, “pump number: *** “*** 1” is displayed.
- the display unit 6 displays, for example, the last three digits of the ID of the pump 2.
- the display unit 6 displays, for example, “pump number:******” and the ID of the other person's pump 2. (Step S9).
- the user can confirm the pair by comparing the ID displayed on the display unit 6 with the ID described on the seal of his pump 2. By this confirmation, the user can notice that he / she is using another person's measuring instrument 1, and can interrupt use.
- Step S9 the control part 11 returns to step S8, and detects a pump again.
- Steps S8, S9, and S10 indicate a retry procedure, and the retry is performed a plurality of times (for example, twice).
- the measuring instrument 1 can be brought close to the pump 2 to return to the normal communication procedure (step S 12 described later).
- control unit 11 determines that there is a communication error and displays the communication error information of FIG. 7 on the display unit 6 again (step S11). Thereafter, the transmission output of the communication unit 14 is restored, that is, switched to the first output used for normal data communication (step S14), and the communication is terminated (step S15).
- step S 8 When the user uses his / her measuring instrument 1 and brings the measuring instrument 1 close to the pump 2, his / her pump 2 is detected in step S 8, and the dose of insulin is measured by the measuring instrument 1.
- the communication unit 14 communicates with the pump 2 (step S12), and the control unit 11 displays a message “transmission is completed” on the display unit 6 (step S13).
- control unit 11 restores the transmission output of the communication unit 14, that is, switches to the first output used for normal data communication (step S14), and ends the communication (step S15).
- step S16 When communicating this normal data (information other than drug administration information, that is, information other than drug administration information) (step S16), when the user confirms the communication information and presses a transmission button (not shown) (step S2), The control part 11 determines with it being normal data (step S3), and detects the pump 2 which is a pair.
- the communication unit 14 of the measuring instrument 1 performs communication with the first output reaching a wide range (for example, 1 m), the paired pumps 2 can be immediately detected (step S8).
- the device setting information is communicated from the communication unit 14 of the measuring instrument 1 to the pump 2 with a first output reaching a wide range (for example, 1 m) (step S12).
- a message “transmission completed” is displayed (step S13).
- control unit 11 ends the communication in the first output state (step S14) (step S15).
- the feature point in the present embodiment is that when at least one of important data (drug dosage information, drug dosage calculation information, personal information) is communicated to the pump 2, the transmission output of the communication is set.
- the communication is performed by switching to a second output smaller than the first output used for normal data communication. That is, communication is switched to proximity communication.
- the insulin dosage which is drug administration information based on Mr. A's blood sugar level
- Mr. B's pump 2B Mr. B's pump 2B
- communication is performed with a second output in which the transmission output of this communication is reduced. That is, the communication is switched to the proximity communication.
- Mr. B's pump 2B is erroneously based on Mr. A's blood sugar level. Will not work. That is, in order for Mr. A to measure the blood sugar level and to make the above-mentioned proximity communication successful, Mr. A brings Mr. B's measuring device 1B close to Mr. A's pump 2A. In this state, for Mr. B's pump 2B, the measuring instrument 1B used by Mr. A becomes far away. That is, the wireless communication distance is limited and communication with the pump 2B, which is another drug administration device, is no longer possible. For this reason, Mr. B's pump 2B does not operate
- step S7 when another person's measuring instrument 1 is used by mistake in step S2, step S7, or step S9 of FIG. 4, the display unit 6 displays “Pump number:******”. ", The ID of the pump 2 was displayed.
- the display unit 6 displays the ID of Mr. B's pump 2B.
- Mr. A compares this displayed ID with the ID of his pump 2A, the two IDs are naturally different. Therefore, Mr. A can realize that he / she is not using his / her measuring instrument 1A, and can interrupt misuse. In this way, if Mr. A can notice misuse from the display on the display unit 6, further misuse can be stopped.
- Mr. A does not operate Mr. B's pump 2B, and as a result, malfunction of the pump 2B, which is a drug administration device, can be prevented.
- the ID of the pump 2 is displayed on the display unit 6. However, instead of the ID of the pump 2, as shown in FIG. ****** "may be displayed. Since the ID of this measuring instrument 1 is affixed to the surface of the measuring instrument 1 with a seal, it is easy to confirm.
- information for example, a user name or nickname
- the ID of the pump 2 or the ID of the measuring device 1 may be displayed.
- a user name or nickname associated with the ID of the pump 2 or the ID of the measuring device 1
- the pump 2 is set under clothes as described above. For this reason, by displaying the user's name and nickname on the measuring instrument 1 at hand of the user, the user can notice misuse without checking the pump 2 under the clothes.
- the present invention is expected to be widely used, for example, as a biological information measuring device used when insulin is administered to a diabetic patient.
